The DADA classroom was opened. The desks were pushed to the front of the room so that there was plenty of open space in the back of the room. Rae entered the room and eyed the open windows that were letting in plenty of air and sunlight. It was such a mild day, perfect for a walk by the lake after class. Alone for sure. | |

Taylor raised his hand...."This spell is used to disarm another wizard, typically by causing the victim's wand to fly out of reach. It also throws the wizard backwards a few feet when enough power is placed behind it."

"That's a good question; it really depends on the level of expertise you bring to the duel. A young wizard or witch, like most of you, would be able to disarm your opponent, but you probably do not have enough focus to get the wand to fly to you. A more advanced student or adult would be able to get teh wand to fly to their hands." She nodded and looked out at the students. "What is the incantation for a common shield spell?"
