The Defense classroom was looking clean and bright, and Rae smiled at the obvious effort of the house elves. She settled behind her desk with a quill and parchment, prepared for her first lesson of the term.

Jenna stopped taking notes and looked around at the students. How had she not remembered that? She did know they didn't have ratings, but was she didn't know was what seemed to be drawing the curiousity from everyone else as well.
"Yes, Professor," She began slowly, "a dementors origins are unknown, but couldn't they still be considered 'creatures'? For lack of a better term, are they 'spirits'?"
