As opposed to her other two classes, Professor Mao-Macdougal actually looked relatively pleasant this morning. It might have had something to do with the fact that outside it was threatening to rain and there was a Flying lesson going on. You never knew, someone might get struck by lightning.

The real reason though, came to light. She was perched on her desk, her feet in their high-topped boots swinging lightheartedly, and she was smoking.

At the sight of the first student, Andi's pale face suddenly flushed and she stubbed the cigarette down onto her desk. There was a sizzling sound and the acrid smell of smoke drifted in the air.

She waved her wand and the smell was instantly covered by the musky scent of roses. Andi sighed and faced the eyes of her class - as if they mirrored her guilt. "Alright, first things first," she said in a husky voice, then she had to stop and cough hard. Her eyes were flashing furiously when she lifted her head.

"We're going to start on something simple today. The Summoning Charm. Easy and very useful." Andi sighed, and cleared her throat again. "We're going to try it wandless. So, wands on desk."

for a beginning srimathi placed her spell book at the edge of her desk.she concentrated hark on the spell book and said in her mind accio .the book flew right into her hands.

Mandi concentrated really hard, thinking to herself "Accio Wand" and in just a blink of the eye her wand was in her hand. She thought to herself "Wow, that was great".

Sylvia had one more try. She thought Accio wand clearly in her head and the wand flew into the clutches' of Sylvia's left hand.

Luna watched as her wand flew over to the professor, She took a deep breath and concentrated very hard on her wand, She focused on it intencely "Accio Wand" she thaught glaring at her wand, almost daring it to come and fly over to her, and thankfully it soared gracefully over to her. She reached out to catch it but it stopped about a foot away from her. "oh for.." she stopped mid sentance before bending down to pick it up. The last thing slytherin needed was to lose points.

Ayumi sat paitently as everyone summoned their wands, she wanted to be able to concentrate, and didn't want to interfere with any one else. Okay she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, in a calm manner she said, "Accio Wanda", her wand began to zoom towards her, 'yes' she thought, the wand promptly fell to the ground. Ayumi blushed, "Accio Wanda", she said again, as the wand flew once more she was careful to concentrate on the spell. This time her wand landed before her with a dainty plunk.

Aurora concentrated on the wand. "Accio wand" she said, but nothing happened. She concentrated some more letting all other thoughts fly. Sh tried again. "Accio wand" this time her wand flew towards her and she stretched her hand out to catch it. "Yes!! I did it"

Now that she had gotten the quill down right, Amber felt confident she could retrieve her wand from the Professor's desk. She focused, as if through a tunnel, past all of the students and through the noise. She closed her eyes, put her right hand into the air and thought with authority, "Accio wand". Immediately, the wand zoomed into her hand, and she firmly grasped it, proud of her success.

Tas rubbed the back of her head remembering how Professor's hand landed right there and giggled looking at other students who were also punished for forgeting to cast the spell mentally.
She put her wand on the edge of her desk and thought Accio wand. The wand lazily rolled into her hand. That's nice, she couldn't help but be proud of herself.

Brittany thought about the smooth, mahogany wand, "Accio Wand!" she though, her wand gave a small twitch. Thinking harder, Brittany thought it again, "Accio WAND!" this time the wand zoomed into her hand.

lizzy cleared her mind and concentrated hard. "accio wand" she thought. nothing happened once more she repeated the spell in her mind and once more it did not work. she took a deep breath, relaxed herself and said very clearly in her mind "accio wand!". to lizzy's surprise the wand flew into her hand. she gleamed with pride and looked around to see many wands flying backwards, forwards and casually zooming around the room.

Rose sat back and tried to concentrate. OK, I have to get you back, wand... She always liked to follow the rules, but for some reason, her internal pleas of accio wand...accio wand...ACCIO WAND! were failing. She didn't even see her wand shake. She began to get a little irritated. Wandless magic is supposed to be on of the most difficult forms of magic, why would this teacher do this to such young students! In a form of rebellion, she whispered "accio wand" under her breath, and lo and behold, her "stick" zoomed and settled right in front of her. Rose couldn't help but smirk at her success, albeit a less honest one.

Rose got up and put her wand back, this time she really wanted to do it without words. The first time she just wanted to see if she could do the basic spell. As she sat down, her inner voice was shouting ACCIO WAND...ACCIO you stupid stick!

Clearing her mind Touy thought Accio wand. Her wand wiggled but that was it.
Consentarting hard she imagined her wand sailing through the air to her. Again Touy thought Accio wand while consentrating hard and then it happened. Touy's wand flew through the air and landed in her hand. She had done it, hurray.

Erin practiced a few more times with her quill before attempting to get her wand. Thinking that she finally had a good feel for the spell, she concentrated, and thought "accio wand" to herself. Her wand steadily made its way to her hand. "Cool" she said softly under her breath.

When Crystal heard the professor's request, she sighed. " Here's to hoping I don't poke my eye out.." she thought. She looked at her wand on the professor's desk and focused all of her attention on it, ignoring the other wands that were flying off the desk.
" Okay..one..two...three.. Accio Wand!" She "thought" forcefully. She saw her wand twitch, then come flying off the desk and right into her hand. " Yes! I did it! without hurting myself!" she exclaimed gleefully. She was then resolved to watching the other students attempt to summon their wands to them.

Phoebe concentrated on her wand hard thinking Accio wand then amazingly her wand soared into her outstretched hand. Phoebe couldn't help smiling and whispering "cool".

Ayumi gulmped and slunk down in her seat, she forgotten about the non verbal part. She puts her wand at the edge of her desk determined to summon it again, this time doing it the right way silently.

She went back to her seat and concentrated on her wand 'Accio Wanda', her wand hovered about 3 inches in the air before ploping back into its original location. 'Accio Wanda', this time the wand didn't even move. This sure is alot harder when you can't say anything, she thought. Maybe she wasn't doing it right she looked through her notes and saw something about yoga. She recalled seeing something about yoga while breezing through the TV one day. She took short hollow breaths in in out, in in out to focus herself, even though she felt dumb, and a bit dizzy, she kept going, it was supposed to help.

Amber rolled her eyes as she continued practicing summoning things mentally. So many of the students seemed to have issues keeping their mouths shut...Why must they speek? This is supposed to be mental summoning...as in non-verbal... she thought with annoyance. Still, she kept practicing summoning her things; her book, her wand, quill...she even managed to summon her ink pot without it crashing on the floor. She had even taking to snapping her fingers just before thinking the spell. It seemed to have a greater effect than simply thinking it alone.

Sophia walked into the room and saw everyones wands on the prof. desk. She absentmindedly put her wand there and took a seat. Around her she could see people with their eyes closed thinking really hard. Some of the wands from the desk moved to their own. Oh! Summoning charms. she thought.

She looked to some other people and found them looking a little too stressed. Sophia took a slow and deep breath. she closed her eyes and focused on her wand. She opened her eyes and looked to her wand. In her head she calmly said 'Accio Wand'. Her wand began to hover, so she focused completely on her wand. The wand made a steady wave to her desk. Sophia extenteded her hand and the wand fell in her hand.

g_g concentrated. she already knew non-verbal spells. she was a mind reader and she could send telepathic messages like her mum.

"Accio wand!" she thought. she saw her wand flying towards her. she smiled and opened her palm. her wand landed right on her palm. "Wicked!" she whispered.

"whoops" candace said ad placed her wand on a different table and mentally thought "accio wand" and her wand flew into the air and over to the cornor of her desk.

Liu-Xue extended his right hand towards the few wands left on the professor's desk and thought clearly in his mind, "ACCIO!" His wand flew towards him and he grasped it in his outstreached hand. Grinning proudly, he lay his wand on his desk and listened intently for what the professor would say next.
