The Inter-House Competition is not over, now starting a Song/Poem Competition for all those cretive minds

Attention to all our writers and poets! The house poem/song competition is now open, allowing you the opportunity to pen an ode to house pride. Put on your thinking caps and dig out your rhyming dictionaries... the time is getting short.

Submissions are open until midnight EST, October 23rd. Voting will continue for one week afterward.

Submission Guidelines:

1. The poem/song must be your own work. You may model it off of an existing song or poem, but the majority of the words/lyrics must be your own. If you do model it off of a real poem/song, please indicate that in your submission.

2. The submission must be sent to your Head of House by the submission deadline. No late submissions will be accepted.

3. The poem/ song should be between 3 and 5 stanzas long or 12 to 25 lines long. This number is a bit fluid, but don't bother submitting a limerick or a 15 stanza ode.

4. Be creative and have fun within the bounds of the SS site rules. Let us know what really makes your house unique.

5. The poem/song does NOT have to rhyme, nor does it have to be "singable". Don't let your lack of experience keep you from trying your hand at this competition.

6. Unfortunately, the song DOES have to be in English. It could include a few words of Latin if you so desire, but the bulk must be in the language the majority of our members speak

And the long awaited Ministry man makes his appearance in the school. His name is Cecil Townsend and he was stopped by Ashlie and Nadia in the halls during their search of Halloween candies.

Absolutely fantastic job to both teams. It was an excellent game to watch and the sportsmanship was fabulous.

Just to let you know, the first try for this project of an Experimental Club has begun and the first meeting is open to everybody who wishes to assist. (Players of students younger than 4th year will need authorization from a professor, though.)

Ganymede and Jaren were caught on their plan to spy on Professor Fox by Virohsa.
They both lost 30 pts for Slytherin.

Also, for every day that they dont spill the beans, they lose more pts.

Trying tricks in a school full of ex-aurors is a bad idea. LOL

People, I have noticed the Classrooms have disappeared from the RP school, can we have them back?

Some classs final exams are still open (Muggle Studies, for example). Besides, the grades of the exams haven't been updated (or, in my case, didn't get to read them if they were). @_@ Please?

End-Of-Term feast has begun so all take their seats at the Great Hall to enjoy the last meal of Term 10 and also to hear the Ministry Official's verdict as to what shall happen to the school.

Cecil smiled and pulled out his wand, sending a barrage of blue, green, red, and orange sparks of fireworks over the students.

I thought the fireworks were an especially nice touch.

A Memory Book has been set up by Headmistress Rae for all 7th year students to sign and leave their mark in. May the good be remembered -coughs-

Aaaand I do believe that's a wrap on yet another wonderful term in the SS RPG. (A part of me is going "Noooooooooooooooo, it's over already!?" V_V)

Thank you to *everyone* who participated in it and made it interesting.

Defintley looking forward to Term 11, should be fun.

Does that mean this thread is open for pointless posts like the one I'm typing right now?

Even if it isn't, this term has been very interesting and Hogwarts is going to change A LOT next term. And with no evil plots this year, we can expect a few deaths, detentions and serious drama next term, not to mention new prefects and ministry idiots- I mean officials, excuse me.
