Ashley furrowed her brow as all the explanation was going on around her. How she wished she had a quill that would write down the notes for her. Her wrist was begining to ache terribly. As she looked up and around the class, trying to get some feeling back into her numb wrist, her eyes fell upon several of her housemates and other students she knows.
Immediately she focused her attention back on the discussion. She didn't want to miss any notes and information.

"Professor," Jessica said, her hand shooting up at once. "They're usually found in the Mediterranean and Pacific Ocean, but have also been sighted at the Red sea and the Caspean Sea. They are also said to be found in the Atlantic ocean, but the sea-serpents of the Atlantic are slightly different and tougher due to the cold climate." She hoped her answer was right, she was sure she had heard this somewhere.

No, they are an entirely different creature, which I am hoping we'll have time to cover this year. A common misconception is that the lochness monster is a sea serpent. It's not.
So what sorts of things can we do to set up safe habitats for these creatures?

"Due to their unique qualities we as witches and wizard must watch over them. First to protect them from detection and secondly from harm. The muggles are poluting the world at such a fast rate we may soon find magical creatures dying off like regular animals and thus become exstint. Some of our creatures are already in few numbers and I think it would be a shame for them to die off completely." Patrick offered.
