Overview:
Christopher and Reagan happened to have briefly saw each other they were quite younger. However, she does not remember this and thought that the first time she met her older brother's friend was during Koen's wedding. Christopher and Reagan, much like her own parents, did not get off on the right foot with their first interaction.

That was one possibility, alright. If any fainting had taken place, hopefully something soft would've been present to break his fall. Thankfully, they need not worry about any of that right now seeing as how he had no real clue as to her current feelings about him. However he was currently once again in a good mood and rather enjoying their time together. "There's no doubt in my mind about that. It's not for me though." He would gladly take all of his nieces and nephews, spoil them rotten for the day and then give them right back to their parents. That he could handle. "Why's that? Maybe I enjoy being alone." He did at times but other times, well, he did get lonely.

"Yes, yes, you do," Christopher remarked, joining in on her laughter. There was no sense in denying something that she already knew but his words were spoken with clear amusement that made it quite obvious he was teasing. Her company had grown on him a little more each time they had been in one another's presence. He never knew what to expect and that was just one of the reasons why he enjoyed it. "I suppose I could wander around with you until I annoy you enough that you decide to go home." This was said with a cheeky smirk now, as he knew that if he really wanted to he could easily get on her nerves.

Yet, he hadn't done such a thing in quite some time now.

That was true: their current time together was rather enjoyable. “I understand that. You get to return them to their parents when they get out of hand,’’ Reagan remarked, speaking from her own experience with her twin nieces. When the girls cried too much, she just handed them back over to her brother and sister-in-law. She stared at him for the briefest of moments in disbelief. Clearly Christopher did not know what a catch he would be but Rea didn’t know how to say this; she thought that she might make things weird between them if she did. So, the young woman shrugged and said as casually as she could, “You’re not that bad looking. Someone’s bound to be interested in you and you’ll return the favour.” Then her head was tilting questioningly at him. “Do you enjoy being alone?”

Rea grinned broadly. “It’s nice that you’re able to put up with me. Only the strong survive!” See, Christopher? You definitely were not just physically strong! The next comment earned him the cheekiest eye roll. “Shall we put that to the test then?” Reagan asked sweetly. “See how long it takes you to annoy me?”

Christopher would be right about that: he hadn’t annoyed her in a very long time now.

"Mm, you mean after I've spoiled them rotten?" Christopher laughed, grinning widely. This generally meant buying a toy of some sort for the little ones and lots of snacks. "No? I'll have to make sure that I keep that in mind when I'm dateless on a Friday night." His voice held all the tone of one that was very much joking. He didn't at all care about dating seriously right now. Well, he wasn't looking. If that person came along then he wouldn't complain. "Most of the time I do. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. No questions asked.

Aaww, lookit that cute grin of hers. "You're really not all that bad." She didn't seem to annoy him nearly as much as he annoyed her. With the amount of nieces and nephews he had, he was used to all types of attitudes and behaviors. This though, she wanted to see how quickly he could annoy her? Chris laughed. "Are you sure you want to do that? It might cut the rest of this walk very short." Was that a risk she was actually willing to take?

Reagan laughed. “Yes, after you’ve done that. This is what I plan on doing with my nieces everytime!” Could Christopher tell that she was very excited to be an aunt? She was also very excited to be an aunt all over again through Jude and Keigh, and also if Ko and Stas wanted to have more. It had literally been on the tip of the young woman’s tongue to casually suggest that he drop her message somehow if he wanted friendly company on a Friday evening; Rea would not hesitate to drag Christopher to a play or to a concert or even to grab hotdogs and pizza. However, when he told her he liked being alone most of the time, the words died in her mouth. She simply nodded to hide her disappointment. “I get that. You get to be the boss of you.”

Rea curtsied as best as she could. “Thank you! I try.” She supposed she got ‘too bad’ when someone annoyed the heck out of her. Then she was laughing again. “Okay, okay. Let’s hold off on testing that then!” Since, secretly, Reagan did not want their moment to finish just yet. “Shall we?” There was a gesture towards the streets of Diagon Alley. Where would their stroll take them next?

Oh, you're going to enjoy it. The spoiling that is. It's the best part of being who we are." It was all part of being an uncle. No one could tell him that it wasn't expected when the kids were dropped off with him. He was always kept busy too, what with all the various ages of his nieces and nephews. If Chris took notice to any disappointment in Rea's words right than, he didn't show it. "Exactly, what I mean. If I want to go out for pizza for midnight or see a really pathetic movie, I can because no one can stop me." Now this wasn't to say that he didn't get lonely at times, he just wasn't going to make a big fuss about it.

Christopher gave a small chuckle. "Good idea. I didn't think you wanted this excursion to end before it even began." There was a small simple now of his head. "Let's. Do you want to lead?"

“I think I will enjoy it. I just might wind up being the ‘Cool Aunt’.” Sorry, Keigh! Rea had a feeling her sister would be the sweet/comforting kind. That was fine because all the Anders’ nieces and nephews would need both their aunts. As the conversation continued on, it became so pronounced to Rea that Christopher was too thick skulled to take the hints, and she certainly would not be throwing herself at him. It was going to be his loss that he didn’t pick up on her interest. “I’m happy you enjoy your freedom that much,’’ Reagan remarked, masking her annoyance and disappointment with a sweet smile.

Rea had been quite tempted a few seconds ago to link her arm through Christopher’s once more but now decided against it. There was no reason for her to continue getting her hopes up that he’d see through her words and hint, was there? “How do I know you were secretly hoping I didn’t end it before it began?” she questioned, an eyebrow raised as she began making her way down the street. Yes, the young lady was taking the lead.

"Might? Is that not your goal?" He would've guessed that she wanted to be the 'cool aunt' in the family. From what he had learned with families that had several aunts and uncles, each was different and it always turned out well enough for everyone involved. Hey, this wasn't all his fault! Need he remind her that they were quite different from one another and that they hadn't always gotten off on the right foot? It couldn't be completely his fault that he wasn't getting her subtle hints as of yet. "Don't you enjoy your freedom?" Or whatever freedom she managed to get now that she was getting older.

Did she not ever hear of the saying 'Actions speak louder than words'? He could've seen it as a simple friendly gesture or perhaps in time maybe he would've come to see it as more. Only time would really be able to know for sure. "If that were the case, why am I still here following you?" Really now, Rea, if he had wanted to go home.. he would have.

Reagan shrugged. “I hadn’t given it any thought at all. For all I know, Keigh will be the cool aunt. She certainly has the potential to be. I know Jude will be the coolest uncle ever though.” Sorry, Ko! You’re still cool! “Keigh and I both can share the title, I wouldn’t mind.” After all, when it came to her siblings, Rea never thought twice about sharing anything with them. As for Christopher… oh yes, it was all his fault and Reagan would always be thrilled to lay the blame on him. “I suppose,’’ came her grudging response. Nothing was said about how she thought it would be nice to have that one special person to share certain moments with. Reagan hadn’t realised it but watching Koen, Jude and Keighley in their respective relationship{s}, she understood all too well what she was missing out.

Meanwhile, Mr. Oblivious over here just failing at putting all her hints together. It was enough to drive anyone insane!

“So that you don’t seem rude,’’ she piped up promptly. “Because if you walk away and leave me here, you know I’ll rat you out to Koen. And that I’ll be terribly annoyed and would never want to see you again.” Did those answer your questions, Christopher?

"No? Well, I guess it makes sense that you haven't seeing as to how your nieces are still really young yet." Not everyone thought about these things, right? He certainly hadn't given it much thought until his sister had married and brought a bunch of kiddos into his family's life. "There you go! Seems like you've got it figured out then. Sharing the spotlight if need be." Chris didn't think she would have to but what really did he know? There was a bit of a raised eyebrow now, as he had thought he heard what sounded like displeasure in her tone? He could be wrong on that maybe she didn't like her alone time the way that he did.. or should he say, how he had gotten used to it?

Hey, it wasn't his fault she went from disliking him to liking him!

Christopher stared at her. The fact that she had come up with an answer so quickly didn't surprise him at all. "I could've had things to do though, you didn't know what my plans for the day were." Just stating a fact. There had been a time earlier that he easily could've went his own way and yet he had chosen to continue hanging out with her. Think about that Little One.

Christopher made sense too, After mulling over his words, Reagan responded, “Time will tell! Cool Aunt or not, I know I’ll be having a lot of nieces and nephews around!” She couldn’t wait to love and spoil each of them! It was just wild to think that she and her siblings were growing up so fast and in a couple of years {maybe} the younger three of the Anders’ clan would have kiddos of their own! Rea did not respond to the raised eyebrow and really did her best to smother the urge to glower at him. Ugh! Men were so clueless! Of all the ones she had gone and crushed on, it had to be the most dense one.

Yes! It was ALL his fault and the young woman would continue to blame him for this all her life!

Rea stared right back, not really watching where she was going in the process. “But you’re the one who said that you didn’t mind walking with me. That tells me that I’m more important than any plans you might have had.” She had a smart mouth, Mr. Giant! So you can be sure that there would always be a counterargument on her part.
