Agree to disagree must be a motto for them with some things because they just never argued. Anything they didn't fully agree on was was solved with the agree to disagree rule. Unless it was super important, than obviously they talked it through but somehow those important things in life, they always seemed to agree upon. It was as if all their bickering as children back at Hogwarts was enough for them to not to do so anymore now that they were adults. Life was good.
"Of course it does. Nothing goes to waste," Addison teased. Just like her husband her eyes too were focused on the movie they had seen many times before. "Are you sure it's me that will need all of the protecting?" Of all the things for her to be afraid of in life, movie robots were not it. Whatever was to come their way though, Addi knew Connor would always be right there at her side taking everything on with her.

True. They never argued which was a good thing since it just made their lives together easier. Not to mention it showed what great listeners and communicators they were. Connor aimed to have those aspects of his and Addison’s relationship to be passed to Koen and any other children they would have. Of course, he had no idea how close he was to finding out that he was going to be a father to another child in the upcoming months; this time to a baby girl who would grow up to be sassy but loving and independent woman and an actress.
Connor let out a small snort of laughter. “Are you saying that I’m terrified of the robots?” Maybe he was just a hint? “Okay, but you can be my protector everyday, you tiny and adorable woman.” Con took a moment to kiss the top of Addison’s head. “By the way, we’ll have to rewatch all the movies in this franchise now that you’ve got me started on this one.” | |

The best parts of them were carried down to their children. Addison didn't know it yet either but their lives were going to get blessed with so much joy and love as the years went on. Laughter and tears and oh so many memories! She couldn't have asked for a better life partner to share it all with either!
"What if I am? Are you going to deny it?" Addison joined in the soft laughter, smiling up at him. "I will always do everything in my power to protect you and our children." See what she did there? Slipping it in and saying children rather than their son? Not all she had to do was keep a straight face and see if he caught on. She smiled at the kiss, snuggling more into his side. "Well I guess it's a good thing that I went ahead and rented them all then, isn't it?" Yes, she was very much spoiling him with his favorite movies.

If you had told the younger version of Connor that he’d one day have a wife and four kids, you’d have said that person had drank too much Firewhisky. But like Addi, he would take all the challenges in stride, he’d be there for all the happiness and sadness. He had no intentions of leaving whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Con chuckled. “No, I won’t deny it. They are kind of scary with their red eyes. Not the good robots though, just the bad ones.” Because he was focusing on the movie’s current action sequence, he simply nodded at Addison, the full brunt of her words not yet registering. “I know you will. You can be a warrior when you want to be.” Fierce. Like their first daughter would be. The man held her close as she snuggled him. “Yep! I’m glad you -” Connor suddenly broke off and he immediately forgot about the movie, his full attention going to his wife. “Just now… did you say our 'children'?” Those words had now fully clicked and he searched her face frantically for confirmation of them. | |

"Well they can't be any more scary than some of the things we've already encountered in our lives." They had seen some crazy things while attending Hogwarts and some crazier things while working at the Ministry. Not to mention they were parents and bound to see even more insane things in the years yet to come. When Connor didn't react right away, Addi knew he hadn't caught on to what she had said. So rather than repeat herself she chose to play it cool and wait. "Any can be a warrior when they need to be." Sometimes it wasn't always about what one wanted to be but more about what the moment called for.
Ah, there it was. Realization had sunk in. The young women smile softly, giving the slightest incline of her head in the form of a gentle nod. "I did." He was catching on to what she was saying, yes?

He thought over Addison’s words. She was right: they had seen some crazy things, most of which he never wanted to encounter again. Such as the incident he had recently been in at the Ministry. Connor forced himself not to think of that. What mattered was that he was back where he belonged. There was a nod to show that he agreed with her. Then the words. “That’s true. And I hope you’re ever forced into being a warrior because I already feel sorry for anyone who crosses you.”
Yes. Realisation had finally hit him. At first Connor was stunned: he was going to be a father again! A slow, happy smile creeped onto his face. Not to mention there was a look of delight. Connor pulled Addison into a hug, both of his arms wrapped around her smaller frame. “This is the best news since you told me you were pregnant with Koen. How far along are you?” | |
