Cassius came to buy candy for the girlfriend. Always looking for stuff for the girlfriend. Addie would probably like anything he got her, really, but he always had to make sure his presents were PERFECT.

Hmm.

Were there any candy flowers? He peeked around and almost tripped over his feet--WEARING SLIPPERS TOOK HARD WORK OKAY. But comfort and warmth--three pairs of SOCKS made sure of that. Hmm. FLOWER CANDY, HEELLLLLLLO?

"Something pretty..." he muttered to himself.

Effy felt like she was wasting her time coming to Hogmeade. It was cold that was number one on her list of things to complain about. Two....well never mind. Let's just focus on it being too bloody cold for for her to enjoy herself. She could be in the castle in the common room comfortable in her favorite spot.

She had thought about trying to go into the Hog's Head and convince the bartender to give her some firewhiskey. Expect she was not in the mood right now. Might as well get a tiny bit of candy. It will be warm in Honeydukes, if you forget about all the tossers that will in here.

That was just a fact.

Now what did she want, that was the question.

Calrissian pushed his way through the crowding students at the door of the candy shop. Was there an obnoxious reason to which they had to loiter there? He looked around for jam tarts. He loved them jam tarts. It just really sucked that the one dude had all those candy bits, but no jam tarts? WHo does that?? Besides that, there was no way he'd go down to kitchen where the entry to those Hufflepuffs lay.

Cal spotted them sitting in a basket, looking like angelic pastries with a light shining down on them. With his eyes set on them, he moved forward towards. Only to be bumped into by some squirrely kid and ricocheted into a couple others. OW! HIS GROWING CHEST HAIRS DID NOBODY ANY HARM.

There were the sweets Effy wanted. It had taken her long enough to decide. She was debating between chocolate dragon fudge and just plain old chocolate frogs. But in the end she went with the chocolate frogs. She was just about to reach and grab a box. When suddenly someone slammed into her back. A string of words came to her mind and none of them good. She turned to death stare at whoever slammed into her and would you believe it.

This kid was the definition of the fact she had just shared before.

"Not strong enough to get through a crowd?"

Effy asked condescendingly.

The stinging sensation of his poor chest hairs being tugged mercilessly began to subside, but the sting from this girl giving a snide at him was not impressive to him. She was pretty, he would give her that. Too bad girls with attitude were not his type.

Cal dusted off his coat disgustedly, like those meanaces had left behind their residue. "It wasn't my fault. Turn that look towards them...girl." Aslan's habit of calling things as by they are has rubbed off on him, it seemed.

Major eye rolling was going on at this boy. It was his fault. Since he was apparently not strong enough to not get pushed by whoever pushed him. She did not care. All she cared about was him messing with her time picking sweets and pushing into her. Which when he did that made it her business to be rude to him. Effy would have been more than fine to not even know this boy even existed. He was not that good looking to get even a little notice from her.

Also he had yet to even say sorry for that.

Talk about rude.

"It was One Hundred percent your fault, boy. And you didn't answer my question."

Aslan had been unabashedly following Calrissian Desario as he made his way through the village, it was not in a malicious or obsessive way, she just... Was... Well, curious, what did a boy like Cal get up to when he wasn't peeping after girls in the castle or trying his best not to get into any sort of trouble?

The curly haired girl was watching him with mild interest as he bumped into an older girl. He was now doing that thing where he was rude and defensive in a way that he needn't be and Aslan was tempted too flounce right in and help him (though she knew well he wouldn't appreciate it), when she bumped into someone herself.

"Oh." Aslan blinked, large blue eyes widened to their maximum. "I'm sorry." She said, staring away at the older boy.

The second year shifted his weight over to stand tall on his feet. This girl was annoying him. She was so annoying. "IT WASN'T MY--" That's the moment when he spotted Aslan a couple annoying people away. She was following him this whole time!!!!! Cal moved behind the so annoying girl to hide from As. "Don't let her know I'm here."

Cassius plucked the flower-shaped lollipops from their stand..apparently they were scented, too, and he took a slight sniff...the plastic wrapper only let a HINT of the smell out, and Cassius thought these would...suffice. Something small enough that she wouldn't get mad at him for buying stuff for her, like she always did.

A small dumb to his backside and Cassius turned around slowly, ready to....RAGE into this person for being so CLUMSY--when he saw it was a smaller girl, who looked quite frightened at the thing she just did. Cassius' features softened and he smiled boyishly--"Hi--no problem, don't worry about it--" he shrugged it off. His eyes trailed over to the....boy in the shop--who was now hiding behind that other girl--and Cassius grinned.

"....someone have a crush?"

Now why was he hiding behind her?.....and do NOT tell her what to do. Especially when you are a rude boy. Now Effy wanted to do the exact opposite. It will be fun for her at least. Maybe not for him. But she did not care in the slightest. Effy took a long look at where he was looking at and only saw other girl who did not look terrible and that guy who Effy had to admit was good looking.

But really who wasn't at Hogwarts.

"Hey, you girl with the flower candy man" Effy did give flower candy man a nice long smile before turning her attention back to whoever the girl this guy was terrified to even talk to. "I think your boyfriend want to talk to you."

Effy said pointing at the boy hiding behind her.

Yes, yes, the rumors were true. Austin had just recently turned 15. And although he didn't have many friends to share it with, he spent it doing what he loved: making potions. He also didn't receive much in terms of gifts, but what he did get was just money. Which was fine with him. He had stashed away some of it for his stock of potion ingredients, but he wanted to buy himself a treat. And what better way to do that than at Hogsmede? His father, half joking, had told him he should use the money for a haircut. But come on. He had some of the best unmanagable hair here. So instead, he decided to spend it on candy.

Walking in the shop, the aroma of chocolate hit his nose. This definitely was the right idea. He brushed the snow off his hat, and browsed the shelves.

It is the best time of the year.

The time of year when Hogsmeade is opened. The former graduate was beaming with delight knowing he was going to see his girlfriend. He owled Emmy asking her to meet him at Honeydukes. I mean candy was her favorite thing besides him obviously. As he walked into the store he was greeted with smells and aromas of chocolate and licorice. His mouth was watering and he knew he had to get some candy. He began to browse around the shelves while waiting for Emmy who was usually fashionably late. He skimmed and saw the famous chocolate frogs and put some of those in his bags. He got some cauldron cakes, pumpkin pasties and bertie botts beans. Now what else to choose?

Aslan had seen Calrissian hide behind the older girl, it was very much impossible for her not to (it was very obvious, as obvious as the nose on her face), had he noticed her following him? He didn't look very cross, but then his face always had a sort of.. strange look on it when she saw him.

The older boy, the Ravenclaw she often saw but never spoke to, had looked ready to eat her whole, but then his features softened and Aslan calmed, her rosy lips curving into a small smile. "I am sorry, I don't often make a habit of looking where I'm going and I tend to bump into people... " She said, her voice dreamy and soft, Aslan was quite obviously talking to the older boy, but looking over at Cal and the very pretty older girl. "A crush?" She blinked up at him. Crushes were something her friends mentioned, they seemed... romantic, but the word didn't seem like a proper fit to her.

She was about to deny this when the older girl spoke.

"..... I think he would much rather not, but that's sweet of you to lie for him," Aslan said, smiling softly up at the girl, still in that oddly matter-of-fact, yet far away tone.

It was abundantly clear Cal wanted nothing to do with her, but that was sort of normal with them.

Cal could feel his face turning red hot. Like his eyeballs would melt right out of his sockets any seconds now. He moved away from the girl like she was an electricity current. "I AM NOT HER BOYFRIEND!"

Aslan's melonchalic tone and statement only made him feel worse. He felt as though she was insulting the girl and the girl would probably take it out on him. The other boy was just there...who the heck brought him into this?? "Just...shut up, Aslan!" UGHHHHHH!!!!! Stupid muggleborns, stupid older kids. Cal just wanted his stupid jam tarts and so, off his stormed. To his stupid jam tarts.

There was nothing like Hogsmeade weekends, for that much, Chloe was certain of. She had to admit that she liked the appeal of the Hogsmeade village being within walking distance to Hogwarts and was definitely going to miss that. Though she was also looking forward to being free to make her own choice, to do what she wanted, when she wanted without professors telling her no or breathing down her neck.

The seventeen year old ginger found herself in Honeyduke's as her first stop even though she was fairly sure she had enough sugar to last her another few months, she just couldn't get over the scents. Not to mention how it just felt so ritual to be in here. Even if she wasn't shopping. Even if she was longing for bestie time. Surely her besties would know where to find her .... wouldn't they?

She couldn't believe that she was here. She hadn't attended what would be her seventh year this term. She was currently being homeschooled by her grandmother in Alabama and Emmylou was trying to deal with the fact that she wasn't getting accepted to any of the Wizarding Universities that she was applying to. The blonde walked into the candy shop, her favorite shop, obviously. The seventeen year old looked around and spotted a very handsome blonde guy in one of the aisle, also known as her boyfriend. "Kace!!" Emmylou beamed and hugged him tightly.

Cassius raised an eyebrow at the...'flower candy man.' He hoped this wouldn't be a permanent nickname...because no. Flower candy = NOT an association he wanted. Darn Addie and her CUTE FACE making him want to buy her stuff ALL THE TIME.

"Name's Cassius--please--not flower candy man, all right?" he corrected in an amused voice before glancing back at the girl in front of him.

...oh boy. The younger boy was yelling. Cassius rolled his eyes...and then glared. "Hey! Don't tell her to shut up--that's RUDE ya' know? She didn't even do anything rude to you first!" Then he'd understand. But this precious...angel-faced child in front of him CLEARLY hadn't done anything wrong.

Hady wandered over kneeling down and picking up some of the chocolate frogs. "I'm more special then chocolate frogs?" She teased grinning. She had seen Lux drop them to hug her. Back to the question though. "Good. Really good actually. My father and I are moving to London this summer." That was a good and bad thing. She was still getting used to it.

Kace turned around when he heard his name called and he chuckled. She still looked as beautiful as ever. She seemed even happier that he was here than when he face timed her. "How have you been Emms?" he asked as a typical conversation starter. He wanted to know how she was feeling right now. The rest of the stuff they can worry about later.

Nothing bad had truly happened this year. "Good! There's a dueling club now and new professors too. As well as the centaur or well it was like a seminar really I suppose. Lots of new students too so I made a few new friends." Mhmm Lux. There was 'stuff' to talk about.

Excited. Yes. No. Hady smiled a little bit. "Yes I think so. It's just a huge move. Really different then what I'm used to but I'll be closer to a lot more things." Hogwarts and her friends for starters.
