Minerva laughed a bit at the thought of Damon fighting anyone. Not that he couldn't, he was just so easy going it didn't seem like something he would do. "Yeah I remember."

Ameliah braced herself when... Minerva laughed? Wow. "I just... don't like to fight. And of course I'm the first, I don't think it's common to lead a double life." She laughed with Mins. It just felt like the thing to do. Which is really weird for a time like this. Mel the Puff had crawled on Ameliah's shoulder, looking at the two like they were insane for giggling. Ameliah laughed more at this.

Damon nudged his head towards Rowan, "Meet Rowan... My older brother..."

Minerva smiled at Mel. "Hey Mel, I bought a friend for you at the store the other day. Hope you two will get along. I just needed a pet of my own. I named him, well Harvs actually named him Bouncers." she thought of her little puff that was at her cousins house. Then she looked at Ameliah "So were you going to use Call to manipulate me into doing some crazy things or what?" she laughed a bit more.


Minerva smiled "Hello Rowan, it's nice to meet you. I'm Minerva, but everyone calls me either Min's or Minnie." she smiled at the older boy. It was nice to meet some of Damon's family. Maybe this will help her help him better or even just get to know him better.

Ameliah grinned at Mins talkiing to Mel. She rolled her eyes. "Yup, I'm an evil genius who wanted to manipulate you into doing my dirty work!" she joked. "Well, I figured, for one thing, I could talk some sence into you about not pushing away friends. And... I had wanted to see if we would still hate each other even if I was disguised but still myself personality-wise, or if we got off on the wrong foot and actually could be friends. And I guess it was the second one... we are friends, right?"

Rowan looked over at his name and gave a small nod, he had no real interest in Damon's friends.
Damon sighed, "He showed up earlier this summer. Aparently Puck and Mom gave him away when he was born. He doesn't like me to much."

Minerva laughed "Yes we are friends. So now I have a question for you." she took Ameliah and pulled her a bit closer. "This group of friends, pretty close?" she knew Max and Damon weren't but she wasn't sure how Taylor really felt about Damon and she was more then interested in that. "Taylor is with Max, right?"


OOC: Don't know where I'm going with this.. Just felt it might be interesting to be the noisy new comer..and maybe to have a small, tiny, microscopic crush on someone in the room... (insert evil laugh)

Minerva eyed the boy. Yeah he seemed about as charming as a rat. Minerva turned back to Damon "Oh well, he will get over it. I don't see how anyone could not like you. How old is he?" Minerva wasn't sure just from looking at him. Then she looked down at the present. "So you don't have this poem book already do you?" she hoped not, but she didn't know if it was a dumb book to get a boy. "Sorry it probably is a little lame."

Millie Blushed when Rowan Mention a double win. "It will be nice to get away i've spent so much time with Ariana lately it's crazy." She said mentioning her niece.

Ameliah smiled, feeling relieved. She was taking it well. Before she knew it, though, she was being pulled in. "M-hm. They're pretty happy, too. But wh- Oh!" she gasped. "Do you like Max or Damon?" she said, whispering so only Minerva could hear. She grinned. "And don't be suprised, I can read people well. You can ask Harvs about that."

Minerva's face went a deep red. "I..I.. I don't like either of them. Was just trying to get to know my new friends a bit better, plus I have actually talked to both boys about the situation and was just wondering how Taylor felt about all of it. I know what it's like to be trapped between to people you really care about. It happened with Harvs at the beginning of last term." She hoped she walked her way out of that one, but wasn't sure.

Damon thought, "He's twenty for another 27 days." he looked down at the gift, and hugged her, "It's a great gift."
Harmony walked over towards Damon and his friend, "Hi, I'm Harmony," She smiled kindly, "And you are?"


Rowan smirked, "It'll be nice to get away from Damon for a while as well. I always seem to be able to make you do that. He was referring to her blushing.

Minerva looked back over at Damon's brother and then turned red when he shocked her in a hug. She quickly hugged him back then let go before he freaked out. "I'm really glad you liked it. I saw it in the store and thought of you." Minerva then heard another voice and turned. "Hello Harmony, I'm Minerva, but everyone calls me either Minnie or Min's it's very nice to meet you."

Ameliah raised her eyebrows. "I saw the blush." she laughed. "Tay? She's clueless. As far as she's concered, Damon is still hyped up over what happened at the wedding and Maxwell is over it and is friends with Damon."

Minerva grinned "I don't know what your talking about." she glanced up at Damon and then down again quickly feeling her cheeks turn warm again. "Wow I guess anyone can be oblivious when it's their situation. It took me a long time to realize Justin had liked me when I was with Harvey, but that feels like ages ago now. I haven't even talked to Justin in months."

"well you should seem special cause it takes a lot to get me to blush."

Ameliah giggled, but didn't pursue. "I remember Justin. He was at the table... for a second. And he was gone. Weirdest moment of my life. Any leads on where he could be?"

Minerva looked to the ground. "Nope, just know he's with his mom and new sister. His new sister is my best friend Ame. I have seen her at least a few times, but it doesn't matter anyway. I want to just have fun with my new friends." she smiled looking around. "Where did Taylor run off to?"

Ameliah nodded. That was understandable. "I don't know... TAY? WHERE DID YOU GO?" she shouted, not caring if anyone else got mad for her yelling. This party needed some noise.

Tay came down from one of the bedrooms. She was rebraiding her hair. Taylor heard someone yell her name, "What? Gosh do you need to scream?"

Ameliah pointed to Minerva. "Mins was wondering where you were. And yes, you were all the ways upstairs." she grinned.

"I was trying to take a nap." She grimaced and yawned, "Did you need anything Minerva or do you want to talk?" Tay laughed and smiled then looked at Ameliah, "Have you seen Trin lately?"

Ameliah shrugged. "Sorry, didn't know. And no, I haven't seen Trinity in a while. I met David, though. He's pretty awesome. I think he actually likes me." she laughed. "I guess I can now say I know what it feels like to have relatives that love me.

Tay laughed, "Tis fine and i havent seen her in a while." She sighed, "Yeah David is okish, i guess, i havent seen him in a while though." Taylor grimaced.

Minerva jumped a bit when Ameliah yelled. "Oh no Taylor just wondered where you had went, but I'm sorry we took you from your nap." Minerva felt bad if they woke her up.

Harmony smile widened, she didn't know many other kids her age, the one problem with being homeschooled, "I'm guessing you two met at Hogwarts." She hoped she didn't seem creepy, she just wanted to know as much about Damon as she could, she liked him that much.
Damon smiled at Harmony, "Yeah, we did. Min, this is my friend Harmony. She's home school; and Puck tried to set us up on a date... Found out we're really good friends."
Harmony faked a smile, There's that word again 'friends'...
Rowan smiled, "It seems all I have to do is give you a complement though. Though it does make me feel a little special."
