About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.

First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

Leelee heard her brother as she slammed her door and she laughed. She could get under their skin so quickly anymore, it was becoming more of a game to her then anything else.

Gabby stood in the closet sobbing, she was so frustrated with the witch. She couldn't take her anymore and wasn't going to put up with the abuse.

Edward walked back to where Gabby was and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind her. He kissed her cheek sweetly and said, " Don't worry about her she's drunk... She doesn't mean it. you'll see. She'll apologise. And she's not the one that matters anyhow.... You're going to be my queen forvevr and I'm the one that's supposed to make you smile... not my sister..."

Gabby turned and put her head in shoulder crying. "I know, but it still doesn't make it right for her to always be this mean. She isn't drunk all the time either. She is the nastiest person I have ever met."

edward held her tight against him. smoothing her hair as he spoke, " She's jealous that all of my time that used to be spent on my work has been taken up by you... And now with a baby on the way ... I think she feels like she can't count on me anymore. And that really bothers her.... It may not be right , but that's how my sister is.... Don't worry... She'll warm up to you after a while." he said before giving her a kiss on her forehead

Gabby looked up at Edward and wiped her face. "I don't think that woman can warm up to anything, but at the same time Edward this is a family business. As much as I hate it I don't want to take you from your work either." She kissed his cheek. "If you need to go with work then go I will be fine here."

Edward took Gabby's chin in his hand and said as he gazed in her eyes... " No, you need me here... At least until the baby is born... I don't want you alone in this house... My job is here taking care of you..." then he leaned down and kissed her lips softly.

Gabby smiled and kissed him back. "Well I'm serious I can take care of myself here if you really need to go, but not until after the honeymoon at least." She kissed him again and smiled.

edward smiled back her sweetly and then kissed her back. Then he surprised her by sweeping her off her feet and carrying her to the couch where he sat down with her on his lap.
" Of course I'll wait until after the honeymoon.... and until after the baby is born. I want to be here for you. I want to take care of you and dote on you... Whatever your wish...I'll do my best to make you comfortable and content." Eddie said as he carressed her cheek.

Gabby smiled and and screamed grabbing his neck when he picked her up. Laughing as he put her on his lap. "You Mr. are lucky I did not get sick just now." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Well I'm not going to fight you.I love you Edward."

Edward chuckled... " Oh... hahaha... I forgot about the motion sickness, Love. " he said apologetically through his laughing. " I love you more, Gabriela.... And I love you too , Little one..." Eddie said as he leaned foward and kissed her belly then rested his hand on the spot he thought his unborn child may be sleeping....

Gabby smiled and her heart melted when he kissed her stomach.
"Eddie you are just to wonderful. This is the most amazing time." She felt so loved and happy at that moment. The future seemed so great and she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him. She glanced at the step, well there is always one in the family right she thought.

Eddie smiled lovingly at his soon to be wife.... In awe of her and the love that they shared for one another. So many wonderful things happening in his life, " I can't wait to make you my bride.... " he said as he kissed her deeply.

Minerva had just come home for the summer and she was already busy helping with wedding plans. She was so excited that Gabby wanted her planning help and getting things ready. She sat at the table working on the pretty center pieces. "Gabby do you like these?" She looked over to Gabby for her approval.

Gabby came into the house with the rest of the items for decorating. It was a week before the wedding and Gabby was feeling the stress. She pulled out more flowers for the center pieces and smiled, "I love them Min, when Eddie gets home we will see his approval." She smiled knowing Eddie would love anything. She turned and grabbed her phone to call the bakery to check on the cake and then the minister to confirm his times.

Edward came home and walked through the door and smiled seeing all of the decorations coming together.... He walked up to Gabriela from behind wrapping his arms around her waist placing his hands on her pregnant belly. Drawing in a deep breath of her hair.. " Mmmm You smell good, Beautiful..... Looks like things are coming together nicely.... " he smiled. " Though I do hope you haven't been on your feet all day.... You need your rest in your state afterall....."

" Minerva, it's good seeing you, Dear.... Helping out as I knew you would.... Have you been making these?..." he smiled kindly as he gestured to the center pieces. " They look lovely..."

Gabby rolled her eyes, "I am only a month along Eddie, I will be fine." She laughed and kissed his cheek. "Do you like everything, I can't believe it's only a week away. The house is going to look wonderful and Minerva is such the little planner she has so many good ideas."

Minerva smiled, "Yes I have and thanks Eddie. It's been fun."

" Well, I still want you taking it easy..... " Eddie said furrowing his brow at his betrothen.." It's really creeping up on us fast, Babe.... I agree with Minnie here the place is gonna look great... Her mother always could put on a party. That must be where she gets her talents." he smiled. " Now I have my final fitting which day again?.... You need to write it down somewhere so that I remember. Otherwise I may show up in nothing but my birthday suit." he chuckled with as he joked.

" As always, Minnie.... You've done brilliantly." he said as he bent down and kissed the top of her head then mussed her hair knowing full well she hated that.

Gabby rolled her eyes and laughed, "I will be fine" she then took out a piece of paper, 'Here you are helpless Edward Blaze and please don't be just in your Birthday Suit." She laughed at him and turned back to the flowers.

Min made a gross sound, "ewww that's gross, where close Eddie" She then huffed as he messed with her hair, "I'm not a little kid, don't touch my hair." she said annoyed. "Hey do you think I could have friends at the reception.. pleeeeeaaassssseeeee"

" Thankyou, Love...." Edward said as he walked into the kitchen and used a magnet to pin up his appointment with the tailor.
As he walked out he answered Minerva's question.... Sure, Kiddeo... I don't see why not... Of course they'll need to dress appropiately." he said sternly.
" Hey, Babe?... Did you need anything from the store.... I'm out of Firewhiskey and need to make a run to Diagon Alley." he said as he kissed her sweet lips.

Minerva smiled excited he said yes, "Of course they will. It's not their first wedding." she rolled her eyes a bit and went back to her job.

Gabby smiled at her future husband, "Well I was just there so I don't think I need anything. Have a good time dear." She kissed him back.

" Of course they have, Miss Wheatborn." Eddie chuckled. He certainly was in a good mood. Perhaps it was knowing that in a weeks time Gabriela would truly be his....

" I never have fun without you by my side... I love you, Gabby. I'll be back in just a few minutes." And with that he apparated out of the room.
