About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.

First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

Susan looked at Minerva and was glad she was taking the introductions into her own hands. She was afraid to say anything but she didn't want to think her rude. Bella was so proud that Susan was interacting with the kids. She had a feeling she would be making a couple of new friends by the end of the night.

Maxwell walked over to Ariana. "Hey, don't we look fancy." Maxwell said teasing her a bit, he knew she hated dresses.

Susan rolled her eyes at her aunt. She was such a worry wart. "Yes Aunt Bella, I'll be fine."

Susan just chuckled and followed Gabby and Leelee to the kitchen.

Ariana Walked in and into the living room, Hugging Min "Hi how are you?" she then looked at max "oh, shut up you blibbering idiot." and then a stranger offered her hand to her and spoke to her Ariana Shot her a nasty look "uhm goodbye." she said walking over to her friends. yes that's right Ariana was BACK

Susan was totally floored that Ariana had just been so rude to her. What did she do that made her not like her right away? Susan decided that she would just stay away from the other kids as much as possible. She didn't like being treated like that and didn't want to experience it again anytime soon. Maybe she could just disappear into a corner until this party was over. She was really regretting to coming to the party.

Minerva glared at Ariana and then looked back to the almost firstie "She will warm up, you did better then I did. The first time I really got to know her she flipped me upside down with her wand." Minerva chuckled. "Ariana play nice." She put her hand in Maxwell's and smiled a bit. "Susan tells us about yourself."

Gabby went into the kitchen with Bella, "So your niece seems very sweet. Was she excited to come and meet the other kids?"

Maxwell laughed. "Now that's the Ariana I know! Not this weirdly nice impostor, Come here, You!" He said forcing Ariana into a hug just to bother her.

Susan wasn't sure she wanted to tell any of then anything about her. She didn't want them to have any more reason not to like her anymore. She didn't want to get hexed, since she didn't have a wand to defend herself yet so she just asked a question of her own. Um....well what did you want to know?

Susan still looked skeptical about answering any questions. She wasn't sure if everyone else would be mean like Ariana. But Minerva seemed like she was curious so maybe it was just Ariana. "Well I'm from Italy, my grandparents own a vineyard there. And I a little nervous about Hogwartz. I've never been away from my family for such a long time." Susan didn't say anything after that. She hoped she didn't give any of them ammunition to be mean.

Minerva glared at Ari and Maxwell, they needed to be more friendly to the new girl and stop being rude. She then looked at Justin who didn't even greet his own girlfriend, that was typical of him anymore. She turned back to the little girl. "Well Susan once you get in a house, they will become your family and then you will make friends from other houses as well. I'm a Hufflepuff, Max is a Gryffindor, and Ari over there, well I guess you can just guess what she is."Minerva joked towards her friend.

Susan looked horrified at Ariana, just her luck she was in Slytherin and her father was in that house, so more than likely she was going to be in there also. Just her luck!!! "That's great that you all are from different houses and get along so well. Do any of you play Quidditch? I love to watch the game. I would like to try out as soon as I'm aloud."

Maxwell walked up to Minnie, tired of his conversation about being a bad best friend to Ariana. "Hi." He said kissing her cheek. "The songs a little upbeat but you wanna dance?" He asked with a grin.

Leelee came into the room holding a little package, "Minerva can I see you for a second." Minerva gave the little group a look and went over to Leelee after a few seconds she walked back, but not completely with the group. "Maxwell, come here." She gestured into the living room and sat down on the couch. "I know we have a week yet before Christmas, but Leelee helped me get you something fantastic and I can't wait.. She handed him over the package wrapped in traditional santa paper. "There for New Year's Day if your mom doesn't mind."

Maxwell took a seat and opened the package and his face lit up. He'd always wanted to go to a Giants game but never had. He tackled her in a hug. "Thank You so much! I wish i had yours to give to you." Maxwell had the biggest smile that he couldn't get off his face. "You're the best, you know that?" He asked letting his eyes turn completely white.

Minerva noticed Ariana's mood and glared at Justin for being an idiot at the moment. "Well we can go get some food from the kitchen." She looked at Maxwell and a blush went over her face with his eyes. She was surprised to see they hadn't changed back, but didn't mind either. "I love you too." She whispered to him. She stood up, "Let's go get some food." She headed to the kitchen were there were traditional Christmas items set up on the counters.

Maxwell blushed a little and grinned even more at her saying she loved him too. "Okay." He said following her to the kitchen. He was always hungry so he was happy there was food.
