About this role-play:
In this Role play Leelee Blaze and her brother Edward Blaze have just taken custody of their cousin Minerva Wheatborn after her family was killed in a plane crash while she was Hogwarts this past term. This thread will have family events as well as gatherings of Minerva's friends and Edward and Leelee's friends. They will grow as a family and become stronger together. Leelee is hoping to get a job at the ministry this year, Edward is a traveler, and Minerva is headed into her third year at Hogwarts.

First Scene:
It's been a few weeks since Minerva has moved in and the new family of three is trying to get adjusted to each other as well as to their new lives. Leelee decides to have a cookout and invite friends of Minerva's as well as Edward's and her own over.

"Well as long as it won't be to much trouble. I don't want you to go to much trouble when a smaller place would be fine." She always feared that people would try to treat her differently because of her money and her family. "Well you wouldn't have to go if you don't want to, I could just go on my own one day." She grinned when he took her hand. "This has been a wonderful night Edward, I am so lucky I met you. I can't wait to get to spend more time with you."

" It shouldn't be. He owes me a few favors anyhow. But if the place is unavailable I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding someplace suitable." Eddie said as he took another sip from his wine glass." And don't be silly. I actually like to window shop alot, but expect me to go into many of those shops." he joked. " I'm glad you're having a good time. We need to start spending more time together. I missed you a lot while I was out of town."

Edward paced in the kitchen waiting for Leelee to come home so he could have her really fill him in on the details of what she tod him about Minerva and her little friend inquired about at the send off party they put on for her. It was very disturbing to him that they may have had a hand in the bad situation with the child they were talking about.

Leelee came into the house.. She went into the kitchen and saw Edward standing there. "So your actually home, that's a surprise. Where is Barbie at? Needed to find a new Ken already, did she?" She chuckled at her own joke. She flicked her wand and a glass came to her from the cabinet. Pouring some water she looked back at him. He looked upset about something. "What's up with you?"

" Yes, I'm home. " Edward said with irritation. " I haven't had a case in a few days. You haven't been doing your part of the job in getting me my bookings. Might as well do it myself for Salazar's sake. " he said as he took a glass from the cabinet and pointed his wand toward the wet bar and out came his firewhiskey. He grabbed it and filled his large glass and took a large mouthful and let it warm him from the inside before continuing on. " And her name isn't Barbie, Lee. It's Gabriela. And We're fine. Planning a trip actually....To Northern France. I really need you to spell out to me what exactly was said to you about that case Minerva and her friend inquired about? I need the details.... And remind me of the name again." he said just before taking another long pull from his glass.

Leelee glared at him, "If you think you can do a better job, then do it yourself. I had to do your job for you on this new case, since all of the sudden you got a heart and can't find kids anymore." She growled at him, "Had to do the entire case myself. The woman will be here today for the notes an what I found." Yeah he wasn't the only one that could go out and track, she wanted him to remember that. "It was the McIntyre case. The people wanted to find a young child. We found the location and sent them on their way as always, the child was killed and now Minerva is friends with the older sister. The boy, whom she was dating, but got a letter that is not anymore, is a cousin or a best friend or something."

" Oh, finally working now , huh? " he said with dissent. " Poor Leelee had to lift her polished fingers to actually do something. Did you break a nail? " he quipped. Then she started explaining the case in question. " I remember that case well. I had a feeling something was wrong when they were insistant that I find the girl within 48 hours." Edward recalled as his emptied his glass and sat down on the stool at the counter. " Then they wanted me to give them a location unknown to most wizards.... Someplace out of touch with the modern world... Did they torture the kids to death or something....They spoke of another child that they had in their custody. Didn't catch the name though...."

Leelee glared at him, she loved her brother but he did know how to get under her skin. "I don't know what they do after we give the facts is not our problem." why was he getting so involved now, it was not like him to care that much. "All I know is what I heard, they used the girl for ransom or something, but before the ransom was given they found her dead. The family is very wealthy, and they have popped back in with the new case I have been doing all alone. It looks like to forget the little one they have adopted a new one. She is a year younger the Minerva and goes to Hogwarts, her biological aunt is looking for her, doesn't seem like a bad case, just family looking for family."

" Oh, Well then I suppose I could give you a hand with that case. It's strange, Leelee. We aquire a kid and my whole way of thinking goes right out of the window.... I hate having a conscience now. Work was so much easier before that fiasco last year." It really did bother him hat he was so worried about messing things up with his part in caring for his young cousin. " I need another good case though.... Something that gets my blood pumping. Something dangerous.... We have anything like that coming up? " He needed to get back to his old self and stop mixing home life and business.... He needed to reconnect with his roots.....What he was best at... A true tracker.

Leelee sighed, "So you rethinking wanting her in the business?"She was couldn't deny that she was happy at that thought, Minerva had to much good in her to be part of this business. She would get her self killed thinking to much. "Well I had an interview the other day with two people that are looking for some older guy. Want to see that file." She thought for a moment. "Edward, do you still keep tabs on those muggles..." She knew he would know which Muggles that she was talking about, she spent all summer hearing Minerva dream about them planning in her dreams, that worried her the most.

" Yeah, Let me take a look at that file. Sounds like something that'll bring me to my senses. And no I'm not rethinking Minerva's destiny to become the best tracker that I know is inside her. I told you a thousand times , Lee..... She has the gift we could only dream of possessing. I just know it." he sort of snapped at her. Why was she refusing to acknowledge Min's abilities and doubt the girls resolve. She had all the right instincts during her capture and was able to escape them...." I just saw McIntyre in the south of France afew weeks ago... He was with a woman I've never seen before..." he said as he remembered the last time he was able observe him.

edward heard a faint knock on the door. " Excuse me, Lee. I think your appointment has arrived. I'll show her in. "
With that he crossed into the foyer and opened the door. " Nice to see you. Please, come in. Can I take your jacket. My sister will be with you in a moment. " he said with a brusque smiled. Then ushere her into the sitting room.
" would you like some tea... Or perhaps something a little stronger? " he asked.

Lucretia smiled, and handed the man her jacket. Upon being taken into the room where the first meeting had been, she sat. "Thank you, and yes, some tea would be nice." This man seemed so much nicer than the woman. Not that she was mean, she was just very...proffessional.

Edward smiled. " Tea it is then.... By the way I'm Edward Blaze. And you are? " he said as he offered his hand to shake hers. " So, how did you come to hire us? " he asked as he flicked his wand toward the kitchen and the tea set hovered in to the siting and placed itself on the tea table the woman was sitting in front of. He looked at the woman trying to read her as he took a seat across from her and poured three cups of tea.

"I don't know, I don't think she is right, her guilt and nice ways over come any tracking ability, it's just not right to push her into this life." It wasn't that Leelee didn't like her job, but your friends were few and far between when dealing with this line of work, never trusting anyone, she knew Minerva could never do it. She heard the knock on the door and pulled her wand, Edward went to the door, "Are you that big of an idiot do you want us killed." she yelled after him, there was a reason she did the client part, he was a bit of an air head at times. She started throwing the protective charms around as she walked, never ever let people in without protection she thought. They could be there to set them up or competition to kill them and he was just letting someone walk in the door. She threw her wand in her holster and went to the living room.

Leelee was in the living room as they walked in she gave her small grin and nodded to show recognition."I have done the research on your niece and have found exactly where she is and who she is with. My brother who let you in is my partner, Edward this is Mrs. Black. She is the case I have been discussing with you."

Lucretia smiled. "Nice to meet you, Edward." she said politely. Yes, if, no when, she sees her niece again, she was definitly going to practice being less sour. Her face lit up when she heard the news. "That's very wonderful news! So I should assume, under the circumstances of her being at Hogwarts, she will be found during the summer?" Since Hogwarts is untrackable, that seemed to be the right idea.

Leelee glared at the women did she not read the case paper and remember their interview meeting. They found the people told the information and that was all they did. "That is totally up to you, like you saw in the contract we do not do the taking, just give you the information on where to find her. Now here is a copy of the case. You can find exactly where she was adopted from, where she is living and what name she goes by. She is living with a very wealthy family named the McIntyre, have you ever heard of them? They are of royalty from what I remember."

Lucretia didn't flinch under the glare. If anything, it halfway returned her to her old self. "I have heard of the family." she said, with a bare trace of stiffness as she took the files. "Thank you for finding this. Yes, I choose to collect her over the summer." Tough she considered otherwise as Edward offered to take her niece themselves. She shook her head. "No, thank you, I think it best to get her myself."

Leelee glared at Edward, was he mad. What was his issue lately, that wasn't part of their company they did not want any part of the taking they had both agreed long ago, but it could make them more money. She wanted no part of it though. She had a fine line and that was crossing, especially with Minerva's close friend being the girl.

At least this woman had brains, "You will see in the file there is an address to their Estate. It is well guarded and will be hard to just walk up to and take her, but you could work it when she is out with friends or something like that." Leelee always gave advising tips, but that was as far as she would go. They do have multiple places, so you will have to see in which place she is. As you said she is a second year at Hogwarts, and is in the Ravenclaw house, I have a list of her siblings that are at Hogwarts as well."

Edward grinned in an evil manner toward Leelee. He loved getting under her skin. But he needed to re-invent his reputation. He needed to get back to the darkness that was their family business. " Well, Mrs. Black... If you need MY services you know where to find me. " he said with a sinister smile.

Lucretia smiled at the woman whom she DIDN'T know her name yet. I'll call her Lady....seems legit she thought to herself. Oh goodness, I'm becoming Ameliah herself... ANYWAYS so she smiled at Lady. "This helps a lot. Thank you." she seemed to be saying that alot today, but she had so much to be thankful for right now. To Edward, "I'll keep that in mind." she laughed.
