Background:
Since the dawn of time, there have been two species that have taken domain of the earth; those who are mortal and those who are immortal. Mortals quickly became separated into two distinct groups: those with magical abilities and those without. The mortals decided early on that separating the two would be best and the knowledge of magic quickly disappeared from the Muggle mind. While immortals could be broken several groups they decided to stay as one Clan, Clan Coventry. After much debate they decided that the best way to rule Coventry was to create the Council of Seven. Seven of the most powerful and prominent houses were chosen to serve on the Council and one would be chosen to rule as King or Queen.
The House of Gray Cloud was then established as the King Regent as they were the most powerful elementals in Coventry. As legend goes the first King Regent was a powerful man named Ambrose who fell in love with a mortal. Aradia was her name and she was a princess in her own right. Three days before their marriage she was murdered by a mortal suitor who had been spurned by Aradia. Heartbroken and furious, Ambrose swore that he would never let that hurt befall his people, so he brought into being the Cardinal Law. It states that no immortal may fall in love with a mortal, or the accused will face a lifetime of imprisonment and the poor retched soul who was the object of said love would die a most horrible death. The House of Gray Cloud has since upheld this Law and does so with an iron fist.
Plot:
Willow Austin is extremely happy that this will be the last time she has to spend the summer at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was tradition for members of the Clan to attend Oden’s Ford from the time they turn 11 till they reach 17, that’s the year they are declared an adult. Another tradition, imposed upon her race by the Lady Gaia herself, was that each child of The Clan must spend each summer until the end of school at the mortal magical school of Hogwarts. She hadn’t thought it was bad in the beginning. She found that mortal children were no different from Clan children when you took the magical abilities and immortality away. She herself was heir to the House of the Gray Cloud, one of the most powerful and prominent elemental families in all of Clan Coventry. She found that she liked her friends at Hogwarts and couldn’t understand the prejudice that other members of the Clan carried. However, her opinions had fast changed near the end of last summer.
Her best friend, a mortal wizard named Marik Grey, had decided that their friendship simply wasn’t enough anymore. He wanted to take their relationship to the next level. Furious and scared Willow refused without offering an explanation. Angry and hurt, the two fought it out and Willow left, leaving their friendship in shambles.
Marik can’t understand it. He knows there is love there. It’s in her smile and the way she moves. It’s in everything she does. Her refusal had cut him deep but he’s determined to find out what it is that’s keeping her from him. He had written to her every week for the entire year and he hadn’t gotten one letter back. It’s not going to deter him though. She can’t hide forever. She’s coming back onto his turf and he isn’t letting her go without finding out why she can’t love him.
Ash Redfern, a NightDweller or vampire as the more crude term goes, is heir to the throne of his own House. The great House of Aerie has always been at the pinnacle of society in Clan Coventry and Ash has a reputation to uphold. Over the years he has tolerated his Willow’s friendships with the mortals but this is the last year he will have to endure it. He has his eyes set on a grand alliance between their two Great Houses and nothing is going to stand in his way. That is until he meets the incorrigible Ms. Tabitha Baker, a newly transferred Hogwarts (mortal) witch that both infuriates and intrigues him.
Clan Coventry:
Clan Coventry is the society of immortals that exist in our world. There are three broad species that encompass Clan Coventry.
NightDwellers: creatures of the night that feed on the blood of animals (vampires)
Elementals: creatures of the elements, able to manipulate one element that runs in their bloodline
Shape-shifters: creatures that can alter their shape according to their bloodlines
Clan Coventry is a very large country that exists in secret, though the knowledge that they exist is gifted to those of magical decent among the mortals. Every bloodline has a house and a blooded descendant that will take over as the Head of House. Houses can either descend through the male or female side of the line, though some simply descend through either, choosing the oldest in the family line.
Okay so this is my third RP and as always there was a bit of a lengthy explanation. This plot will require two things: one, there will be three groups of people and the groups need to be as even as possible or at least even between mortals and immortals and second, there needs to be an even number of girls and boys. Everyone will be in pairs. If you and someone else wants to pair up please PM me and let me know. If you don’t find a partner I’ll partner you up with someone. If you come up with an idea for another member of Coventry that isn’t listed please PM for confirmation before posting.

Background: Willow was born at Castle Cloud in the Whispering Isles Province, a flourishing land located on at the southern most point of Coventry. Having shown her Elemental abilities at a young age, her father wanted to stake her claim on the Rulership. Her mother Kya Bayar, was hesitant to allow her daughter to take that path. In the entire history of Clan Coventry their have only been two other female rulers and she didn’t want that life for her little girl. However, Kya had no choice in the matter after she gave birth to two shifters. Therefore, she accepted her daughters fate and her two youngest took her maiden name as is tradition.
Willow’s father Wayde was ecstatic and began her training at an early age. On her 10th Nameday he proclaimed her Princess Heir and started her instruction. Wayde took his daughter everywhere and taught her all the ways of the Court and Council. As King, Wayde values the Law, diplomacy, and dedication to the Clan. As a father, Wayde drills into his daughter the ways of trade, combat, and of people in general. Her mother had a small hand in her teaching, as Willow must learn the ways of a proper lady.
In the eyes of the public, the Royal family is the picture of perfection, behind closed doors is a totally different story. Before she turned 10, Wayde paid all of his children equal attention and was the best father he could be. After Willow turned 10 that all changed. Wayde often had business outside of Whispering Isle and always took Willow with him. As a result, it always seemed, in the eyes of Sky and Gavin, that Willow was the favored one. Therefore, they often team up against Willow and exclude her in everything they do. Kya tries hard to keep her family at peace but there isn’t much she can do. Willow is Princess Heir which is one of the most isolated and lonely paths any Immortal could possibly take.
In his entire Rule, King Wade has had to imprison 10 Immortals for breaking the Cardinal Law. Willow has looked on with pity and dismay as the 10 were sentenced to 100 years in the Brig and the humans that they fell in love with were killed before them. Willow thus far has been the only heir that has witnessed this event, as the other families felt it was too soon to expose their children to.
Personality: Willow is a level-headed, observant, methodical individual. Due to how she was raised she has come to rely on her instincts and her senses. She exudes power and sophistication and also wields it without pause or conscious thought. True to her heritage she has a strong sense of self control though even she has her limits. When pushed her ire knows no bounds and is swift and fierce. Willow does have a softer side, one of which few have ever witnessed. She has a great capacity for love and tenderness.
She does have a sense of humor and loves to laugh. Her friends and family mean more to her then anything in the world. To those she considers her friends; she is honest and trustworthy and exhibits a sense of humor. To her acquaintances, she is tolerant and patient and very forgiving. To all others she is indifferent and aloof. The only other thing that means as much is her freewill and her ability to choose her own path. She doesn’t get to choose her own way very often though. Willow does have a stubborn streak and can be extremely obstinate and argumentative. Beware of her temper…it takes a while for her temper to flare but when it does look out. Once her temper and anger get going there are very few people who know how to bring her back down.

History: Dozer comes from a hard working wizarding family. His mother is a well known potioneer, who works freelance and is starting her own business. While his father works for the ministry as a liaison to the Irish, Bulgarian, and Muggle Ministries. Henry hopes to one day be made Minister himself and has high hopes that his son will follow in his footsteps. Dozer enjoys politics quite a bit; however he aspires of becoming the next big Quidditch Chaser. His father doesn’t quite see the allure of an athletic future and is hoping to steer his wayward son away from such endeavors. Their family travels in the highest of social circles and attends all of the high end shindigs. Little Cassandra enjoys life as the baby. The Flint family gets along well or about as well as any family gets along these days.
Personality: Dozer isn’t your typical bad boy, though for many that is all he seems to be. Reserved and quiet, for the most part, he prefers to keep a certain mysterious air to his actions and thoughts. He tends to attract many girls with his good looks and easy charm, but he aims to find someone who can keep pace with him. Dozer loves a good challenge and is always looking for his next big project. Quidditch is a big deal in his life and that won’t change any time soon. While he projects that he doesn’t really care about anything or anyone, if you mess with his friends things will get ugly. Dozer doesn’t get jealous (at least he won’t admit it) and he does have a bit of a temper, when you burn down his exceptionally long fuse.

Nicknames: Elena really doesn’t have many that people from school call her, but she doesn’t mind any that people come up with. Her family has often called her Ellie and Lena… Though I will say she rather hates the name Elen for herself.

Family/History: Elena has grown up on the secretive military encampment (Maquis Universal). It’s really all that she’s known outside of Oden's Ford and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the population living in the encampment is so small, Elena can easily consider them all to be family, whether she likes it or not. The Nightwing family lives comfortably, though that is mainly thanks to the money received from her mother’s family and the sharing of money between them and Trey and Atmor (those they share a large home with). Though another large contributing factor is her mother's growing in popularity business. Her mother, Brookelyn Nevill is an air elemental and became Galentos Nightwing’s mate when she met him in her third year at Oden's Ford. The marriage of the Nevill’s daughter to an immortal pyro did not fly over so well, simply because he did not come from as prestigious a family and he was not who they had chosen for her to marry. Elena’s grandfather, Auberon Nevill, would rather have disowned Brooke completely, but her Grandma Amandine convinced him out of it. She felt that that would be butchering the idea of ‘motherly duty’. So instead the family made out an agreement. Elena has never seen her Grandpa Auberon (for he refuses to have anything to do with her), but she sees Amandine on occasion.
Elena doesn’t technically have any full blooded siblings, but she considers Rubin to be her older brother all the same and Emerald her younger sister. Rubin and Emerald are actually half siblings, but that is a rather long and some would say... awkward story. They have all been raised, though, by Brooke and Galen and Trey and Atmor. Trey is Galen's alpha and best friend and Atmor is Brooke's cousin and Trey's wife/mate. All very confusing, I know. My apologies. Elena also often refers to Trelane and Atmor Lorenssith and Elluria and Alex Lorenssith (along with the twins, Elric and Azimoth) as family, Alex being Trey's brother and Elluria always having been part of the "pack" and Alex's wife after his divorce to his first wife. They have been the best friends of her parents since the beginning and played a huge roll in helping raise her.
Personality: There is a lot to say about Elena Nightwing. She is the confident, spontaneous, BLUNT type. Elena defiantly has that “tell it like it is” view, but this is rarely with the intent to be hurtful. It’s just that very dominant part of her personality that makes her, her. Though, this is slightly different when it comes to those she doesn’t particularly like. She will try to have sweet words for them to their face, but she can’t hide the hatred in her eyes and if they say something to set her off there is very little to keep her mouth shut. Otherwise, she keeps her many biting words for when they are not around and instead states them openly for her friends to hear. Elena really can be considered the hot headed fire cracker, ironic with her being a fire elemental. Despite this, she would certainly be described as a friendly person (though corky), but not bubbly. She’s not that all smiles, bouncy, Mary Poppins type.
Elena has a good sense of humor and enjoys being part of a good prank, but like most doesn’t appreciate being the victim of one. Especially when that prank messes with her otherwise perfectly good school day. She LOVES school and with good reason. Elena is a very bright/clever girl and takes pride in that through maintaining her close to excellent grades. As far as her pyrokinetic ability, she has grown a lot thanks to the school and with the help of her dad, Trelane, and Alex. She was also gifted with some athletic ability. While sports are important to her, school is always placed before it. She doesn’t mind stating her opinion and will firmly and stubbornly hold her stand.
Elena is very independent (though this doesn’t mean that she would prefer being on her own over being with her friends) and she likes getting “down and dirty” with the guys. Though, based on the feminine and mature presentation of herself, anyone outside of friends and family wouldn’t know. Any other small aspects of Elena’s being include loyalty and bravery, being able to hold a harsh grudge, and the tendency of being rather oblivious when it’s not something she is supposed to be focused on.
Other: Because she is a Pyrokinetic, she has to be VERY careful about her sugar and alcohol intake.
Likes: SAYINGS (British or any others that she has heard being tossed around), organized chaos, school, adventure, writing, candy and any other sugary goodness (making being a Pyro largely inconvenient in her opinion xP), and arithmancy, herbology, and astronomy are all her favorites over the summer.
Dislikes: the overly flirtatious, birds and rats, when people put too much stress on being neat, those who flaunt their money and use it as an advantage over those who work for what they get.

Eyes: Deep burgundy like her dad’s. That is one of the physical traits of her species.
Hair: Elena has very thick, rich brown hair that easily reaches the middle of her back when it’s down. It’s naturally rather curly, but she never in consistent with the way she wears it.
Complexion: Pale and smooth though many would agree that it is not difficult for her to tan.
Height: in between 5’8” and 5’9”
Build: Thin and fragile looking (though not to be underestimated)
Overall: Elena has a rather intimidating look to her in many ways which surprises some and doesn't for others when they actually meet and get to know her. She’s a very pretty girl and knows it but doesn’t flaunt that piece of information. Usually. She has a very feminine, wealthy-looking style, but is careful with her small sizes and figure. She knows that come a few years from now weight will strike. Well... in theory. She got the small bone structure and fast metabolism from her mother along with her cute, slightly upturned nose. Everything else she received from dear ol' dad. Elena has a confident stride to match her personality and is often seen carrying books.

Austin I love the bio but there are some discrepancies that don't mesh with the plot. If her father was a muggle and her mother a witch and she goes to Hogwarts then she can't live in Coventry. For this plot to work the lines have to be clearly drawn, and everyone can only have one specialty. Elena either has to be a witch or an immortal from coventry. Maybe I misunderstood it but it read like she attends Hogwarts year round which would make her a witch. Coventry children attend Oden's Ford a school that helps them learn to harness their powers, they only attend Hogwarts for the summer. If you could clear that up a little that would be great! Love Elena btw! Mary Poppins! *giggles*
Edit: Little bit better. Parents still have to be full elementals. Mother can be from witches as witches are mortal. The father can't be muggle born either. Sorry I'm being so picky but the plot has to stick with the specifics as its all about crossing lines.

It's their parents that will have the seat on the Council, from what I imagine. They will be the Heir to gaining the seat. Remember that their parents are Immortal; it is likely to be a long wait until they gain the seat on the council. ... Right River?

Yes Emily he can. Tiro is right though. The families on the council are one from each of the elements, a NightDweller, and a Shifter. You are more then welcome to have the Shifter council family. I believe that after so long, the parents decide it is time to step down and their children take their place. Each Immortal must decide when to cross over into their next life.

History: Marik comes from a family who is known for their wit, knowledge and hard working ethics. Mariks’s mother is a star Quidditch player for the Chuddley Cannons quidditch league team. His father is a division head of Aurors in the magical law enforcement department at the ministry of magic. His parents both want Marik to follow in their famous footsteps but he is still undecided about what he would like to do with his life. He enjoys playing quidditch as much as playing detective but in his eyes both jobs require too big sacrifices to family life. How many weeks, months hadn’t Marik been without his parents growing up? Grandma Grace and Grandfather Robert had done their best but they never could really make up for his parents not being around. The Grey family is good friends with the Flints and goes to many parties and events with them. The Greys’s though likes to keep lower profiles in their social life rather than being in the center of attention considering that their jobs already puts them in the public eye. Marik’s younger siblings James and Oliver live at the Grey estate outside of London attended to by Grace and Robert for the most part. James and Oliver are very young still growing up in a safe environment with all its joys and fun experiences.

Personality:
Marik is your typical Ravenclaw guy. He is very intelligent and nurtures a big curiosity for learning about the world he lives in. Other traits that fit him to a tee are wise, loyal, emotional /romantic. Marik is a bit of a know-it-all but he doesn’t see that as a bad thing rather so an asset. He is an open-minded guy who likes to make/form new friendships. Marik is a warm and devoted friend if you have him on your side. He is not shy of either speaking his thoughts and feelings but it that isn’t always appreciated. People have often misunderstood both extensive knowledge and outspokenness as bad things and that has limited his number of friends. To Marik that is sad because he doesn’t want to apologize for who he is. He is not impulse and is a bit of a stickler for following rules but his best mate Dozer tries to take that out him. Off late he has become a bit more quiet, moody and unhappy. All because of Willow.
