During the past few weeks, we at SnitchSeeker have been holding a "Snowed In" event where we ran several competitions. The event is now over, and we're pleased to announce the winners of not only one, two, or three, but four contests!

First of all, the winner of the Butterbeer Warm Up (who managed to have the closest guess to the number of times Butterbeer is mentioned in the Potter books) is Anna Banana! Anna has won a Harry Potter Interactive game:

Secondly, the winner of the Snow-White Hangman was fire_faerie!

A graphics challenge also ran throughout the Snow-In, here are the top three banners:

Laura has won herself a SnitchSeeker T-shirt, and the banner will be permanently used on the Winter Skin, as well as on the current default skin for the time being (look up if you're using the Default

).

Okay! Now I'm REALLY confused! Because my first guess was 140 and I got told that it was higher, so I went to like 210 and got told lower... So I had the number narrowed to between 163 and 140!

I'm not sure what happened, Jess. My first guess was 71, and I got a PM back saying I needed to guess lower, so I went to 67.

If I remember correctly, the number of times you guessed played into it, as well, so that may have been it.

I was just trying to help explain what may have happened, since you and Jess seemed to be trying to figure out what the correct anwer was. I'd actually like to know, too.

I didnt go in the competition but i would have guessed like 100 or something.
