BEAUXBATONS & ILVERMORNY ARE HIRING!

Are you at least 30 years of age and seeking to impart your knowledge on the next generation of youth? Consider a future with a wizarding school.

Previously, all professors (excluding those established by SS canon in the Wizarding World RPG plots) were NPCs. As of the 2116-17 school term, any member can apply for a staff position for Ilvermorny and Beauxbatons. The Headmaster/mistress will remain NPCs. There are a few conditions when it comes to applying:

• The character must be at least 30 years of age at the time of applying, with profound experience in education or their field of work.
• The character must reside at least near the school's respective country before applying. Beauxbatons allows residents of countries near France outside the British Isles, and Ilvermorny allows any country and territory within the North America continent.
• The character must abide by and encourage the School RPG Guidelines here, along with Beauxbatons and Ilvermorny's own guidelines and canon.
• Once hired, your professor character can be role-played in the appropriate school forum. Please note that lessons or adding/taking points away from students will not be RPed like in the Hogwarts RPG.
• You can only apply for one professor position per school. This means at maximum you can have 1 professor at Beauxbatons and 1 professor at Ilvermorny.
• You must have a minimum of three RP posts made within a year in the St. Mungo's Hospital (Role-Playing) forums (excluding the Reception Area). They do not have to be made with the character you're applying the position for.
• Applicants are free to apply anytime; however, the hiring window is during the IC Summer time (OOC April, August, and December). If you apply outside those months, your application won't automatically be denied; instead, you will likely get confirmation for the following school term if the subject is available.
• Once hired, you are free to post your professor in the Ilvermorny or Beauxbatons biography thread.
• Hired professors will remain on the staff list for 1 OOC year (3 school terms) unless requested otherwise. After 1 OOC year, you will have to resubmit the application for them to remain on a roster. You will be sent a courtesy reminder when it's near time for reapplying.
