The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones DVD review In this 92-minute animated DVD, George Jetson’s son Elroy invents a time machine and, intending to travel to the future, accidentally transports the entire Jetson clan back to prehistoric times. True to the show’s title, the Jetson and Flintone families do meet up briefly – however just long enough for Fred and Barney to give George a tour of Bedrock, while Betty and Wilma teach Jane how to barbeque a brontosaurus – before the Flintstones are mistakenly whisked off to the future. Originally released in 1987 by Hanna-Barbera, this cartoon features the voice of my late uncle, the incomparable Mel Blanc, as Barney Rubble, Dino and Mr. Spacely. It has a run time of 90 minutes and is available on DVD exclusively at the WB Online Shop. |
