The Fresh Diet, a healthy diet delivery service providing three freshly prepared meals, one snack and one dessert per day, all customized to my preferences.
Prepared by an executive chef, the tasty balanced meals are designed to provide portions that encourage weight loss, yet are sufficient to satisfy. They incorporate whole grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, and lean meats and fish, and consist of 30 percent protein, 40 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. Yes, that’s right – fat! All I can say is, their formula works. I ate more food in a day than I normally would, yet I lost three pounds by the end of the week.
I normally skip breakfast, but I wasn’t able to resist the ones offered on The Fresh Diet: blueberry cream cheese crepes with fresh pineapple and wild berry sauce, Mexican style egg bake with fresh salsa, tortillas and cheddar cheese, pineapple coconut oat bran muffin with fresh papaya and raspberry yogurt.
While letting someone else do the cooking and calorie-counting for me was heavenly, the best part of the whole experience was opening my front door to see what was waiting for me each day. It was exciting - like unwrapping a gift!
