I have a new favorite. I have to be honest, I didn’t think I could ever like anything better than my usual brand of green tea, but Detox by Kusmi Tea sold me. It’s a blend of mate and green tea with a hint of lemon – and it’s wonderfully soothing.



The Kusmi Tea Essentials variety pack is a great was to try out a dozen different blends from the Kusmi line. I highly recommend the Prince Vladimir for its unique combination of citrus and vanilla, and the fruity St Petersburg that has a touch of caramel.

The only drawback I encountered with these teas is that I need a teapot to steep them in. They don’t come in individual serving packets to make one cup, which makes them difficult to use at work. I’m seriously thinking about buying a second teapot to keep at my office, but for now I just make a pot before leaving for work and transport the tea in a thermos to get me through the morning.
