Transportation: Level Six Conference Room

A door on the wall beside the cubicles leads to a Conference Room where the Transportation employees will meet to discuss important matters. When a meeting is called everyone will report here when directed to unless other tasks have been assigned. The center of the room is taken up by a large square table with enough chairs around it to accommodate everyone and there are more in a closet if they are needed. The walls are covered with stylish art and a white board to use in presentations.

Taking notes during meetings is a good idea and would be much appreciated, you may need them for the assignments that will be given.

She smiled at their words, they were so naïve, but they would learn. It was for the best. She closed the booklet and pushed it aside before taking a sip of her coffee. "Not except the guidelines, well that just won't happen. They will be excepting them or dealing with them, which ever it is they will have to follow what we put in place. It is for their well being and own good." If they didn't well they would soon learn the pain of going against anything they put into place.

"I assure you no one will be having issues with this and even the do you don't have to give them any reasoning. If they have a true problem I will speak to them directly or our MLE head would gladly show them the reasonings behind our choices, right Chloe?" She assumed the woman was being quiet at the moment because she had experienced this first hand already.


"Unless there are any further questions, you may go. Some of you might get some memos soon about a change in position. I have moved some things around to have our positions make more sense."


*OOC- the position changes would just be demotions for any muggleborns into less important roles for now. There won't be any changes to your actual ministry position, just that if your character is a muggleborn they would probably see less work or just more paperwork sort of stuff.

Yassi turned to look at Chloe. Her features were etched with silent worry. What had they done to her colleague? It was now all that Yasmin could think about as Simone carried on with the rest of the meeting. The meeting which was over no sooner than it had begun. It was strange how such little time had passed, and yet Yassi still felt as if they had sat here for much longer. Perhaps it was because these new rules were reminiscent of such ideologies held from so far in the past.

She shook her head, despite feeling so detached, and stood up quietly, lacking her typical exuberance. "Thank you, Ms. Krafft," and with that, Yassi left the conference room, feeling uneasy and with new thoughts. Those which she did not wish to entertain.

Why would the muggleborns be needing to speak with the MLE Department Head if they did not agree with the new regulations? Going in to this meeting, Daichi had not thought they'd be talking about putting Muggleborns in to a corner and he honestly did not like it.

His unease grew when Simone mentioned Chloe and although he wasn't sure WHO of them was Chloe those gala name tags would come in handy now he could still feel the tension in the air. Things were definitely different at the Ministry this year, with the anti-muggleborn sentiments and the Deathly Hallows decorations all over the place. The banner of Grindelwald was probably the most unsettling. He had many things to say that would go against what Simone had said but he was old and wise enough to not speak his mind at this moment. This was not the time nor place to do that.

He stood up from his seat while placing the files in a map before he tucked it under his arm. "Thank you, Ms. Krafft. Have a nice day" he said with a nod of his head and turned to leave. Making a mental note to contact the other employees and figure out what they had thought about this meeting.

Chloe felt uncomfortable with just about every aspect of this meeting and even moreso when Simone called her out about the MLE head showing them reasonings. To be frank, Chloe wasn't particularly confident that reasonings were shown, but more likely ... if you dared to disagree, then reasonings were shown as to why you shouldn't.

She also hated the way Yassi looked at her with such concern, but her own features tried to keep the calm. She didn't need her colleague to worry or know that Simone used an unforgivable on her. She was fine. They were fine. They were alive. Wasn't that enough? No, it wasn't enough and Chloe knew it. She was also ninety percent sure that everyone sitting here other than Simone knew it as well. Because halfbloods and muggleborns weren't living. And yet she couldn't do or say anything about it, which was ultimately the worst thing about all this. All she could do was merely nod, not even smile and offer a weak, "Right." All while making note that she needed anti alliances and fast if she wanted to keep working at the ministry. She did, didn't she?

Pushing back from her seat to stand up, "yes, thank for this very ... informative meeting, Ms Krafft," Chloe said hoping to keep any sarcasm from her tone. Because it sort of was informative, even if it wasn't information she wanted to hear. It was information that she now knew why she hadn't been informed of the field trip incident that her cousin's friend had let slip. Apparently portkeys were regulated and not by the portkey master general. Did she really want to keep working here? What good was she anyway? She turned to look at her colleagues, "Anyone want to get a coffee later?" She hoped maybe one of them, not Simone, would take her up on this urgency and code.
