Default Pathways

A set of paths, some stone, most dirt, link the wooden bridge to almost every other area of the Hogwarts grounds. You will more than likely use these pathways at some point to reach your grounds-based classes, to visit other outdoor locations, or simply to take a walk and clear your head. This is a quiet area of the grounds with the soft sound of leaves rustling in the wind or lightly crunching below your feet. Doesn't the air just seem fresher around here somehow?

Walk with a friend, sit and relax on one of the many benches placed in intervals along the numerous pathway routes, climb a nearby tree, take a moment to appreciate the great outdoors in this breathtaking part of the country. Just be careful not to trip on loose stones or roots as you go. The groundskeeper does what he can to keep the pathways maintained, but he is, after all, only human.

~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.

It took her some time but Claudine had now sobered up. Not to mention she was pleased about holding back her laughter since it would just make things bad for the professors. In her opinion, Violet had had a valid question. Healer Poppy may have had the credentials but her personality and intent definitely had not suited Hogwarts in general. Anyway.

The seventh year chose to busy herself by filling the first hole she had dug with a plant. She took great care while handling it as Flamsteed had taught them all during the Herbology lessons. After the transfer, magic was used to cover the roots with soil. Easy peasy.

"Thank you for the information, Professor." See? Healer Peralta was actually good at her job and knew what would be good items to recommend if the students did have any allergy issues. He did have to stop himself from glaring at the Board too as their response to Violet was to attack Professor Peralta and Professor Recard's training - both had been fine. At least, he certainly thought so in this moment when someone who provided a hack of a healer was attacking the ones who at least cared about something other than glory.

He didn't see his current Charms Professor trying to unknowingly dose them all with things - especially not something to intentionally spread panic on a pack of students with severe trauma. Imagine that.

But his internal monologue was digressing, so he brought himself out of it.

Which thank GOODNESS he had, or else he wouldn't have heard Violet's response attached to her apology. Evan was not much of a laugher, but her response had him having to hurriedly grab a plant and duck his head into his shirt to hide the giggles he was so desperately fighting back. Two for one with that response, all while looking apologetic at least. He was impressed. Setting himself up on the pathway next to Claudine, he mimicked her movements to work on getting the plant in his hands into the ground. "I don't usually jog this way, but I might start after this." Though jog was rather generous for the brisk walk he engaged in to keep up with his energetic pet in the early mornings.

"You have said nothing wrong Violet, you were asking a question and we certainly encourage questioning things. It is how we find out how processes work, information is found, and how we learn new things. I know the board fully support students learning and growing as young adults, don't you?" She gave the board member a nice smile, maybe too nice, but still nice and turned towards the rest.

Happy to hear she had no doubt the charms professor knew charms to help out and as for the allergies Meda just rolled her eyes a bit, because even muggles had allergies and took things for it. Nothing a potion couldn't help. "I'm going to go dig over here if anyone would like to join me." She gave the students all a look to encourage them to keep up their greatness before going to start digging a hole.

The outdoors were always a special place and Meda was going to enjoy helping with this project. "I certainly have tried to job, but my walks will be levely around here." She added after hearing the headmaster.
