For this event, I aim to complete at least two challenges as listed below. Traditional art is not my forte and for this reason, I will be doing my thirty day challenge with the aid of graphics programme.
I feel so self conscious about the fact that most, if not all, members participating are opting to draw for this event Like I've mentioned before, I cannot use pencils and paper in attempts to draw to even save my life Anyway, here are a few babies that I whipped up last evening. I particularly like the Drapple icons. Anyone else a fan of Drapple?

Day Four: Borgin & Burkes
Day Five: Sacred Twenty Eight
We know of Draco's affiliation with Borgin and Burkes, and with the Hand of Glory and the Vanishing Cabinet. The Hand always gave me the heebie geebies of the two items and I hoped to capture some of its spookiness here.
The Sacred Twenty Eight! TBH, I wasn't aware of this group until one of the History of Magic lessons in our School RPGs. For these icons, it seemed right that the Malfoy family be included. Given Draco's close relationships with Pansy and Bellatrix, I hoped to include them to represent their respective families who are members of the Sacred Twenty Eight.

I really like the (and I'm not sure this is the right word for it) pixelated or grainy quality of the Malfoy family pic. I think it makes sense for their dynamic and it just reminds me how picture perfect family photos can be deceiving.
I think you absolutely have captured the spookiness of the hand of glory, I love how the colour and lighting works together there. I'm also a big fan of the bellatrix icon, similar in the black/spooky green combo (and the hand ofc, heheh). I enjoy seeing your takes on these prompts

Ooh I really like the coloring/ lighting on the first one of B&B. That contrast is really lovely
I thought so too! Contrasting icons is something that I adore doing.

Thank you, Chells I love how you also interpret the Malfoy family icon in that way. I hadn't thought of it this way while making it but everything just worked out it seemed.

Day Six: Alchemy
Day Seven: Dark Artifacts
In my interpretation, 'alchemy' is somewhat similar to potions. Hence my icons of Draco during one of his potions lessons with Slughorn. The pixelated looked so good on a previous icon that I decided to bring it back. I'm quite happy with how this set turned out. We know what Draco's sixth year was like so I chose to go with lighter colours in order to depict the calm demeanor he wore like a mask despite there being great turmoil within.
The necklace which Katie Bell was hoodwinked into taking... being dangerous as it was, I attempted for keep it warm/vintage looking; possible descriptions which we might have initially thought of had we not known the curse that laid upon it.

I really like the background info on the first set and why you made the decisions you made. I also do like how all three icons look next to each other. The colors look nice!
For the second set, I LOVE that middle one. The coloring is so nice and reminds me a little of Ravenclaw colors!
