PatInTheHat | 09-26-2012 11:19 PM | Firecrab Reservation - Fiji http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/.../firecrabs.jpg Located deep on the island of Kadavu, in the heart of the tropical rainforest, lies an area secluded from most and home to the large, turtle-like crab creatures; the Fire Crab. Native to Fiji, the Fire Crab, known especially for their jeweled encrusted carapaces and ability to shoot flames like no other, roam freely here, protected from those wizards and muggles alike, who tend to be a bit on the greedy side. The workers at this Fire Crab Reserve, however, will not take kindly to any funny business and you would be good to keep your hands to yourself when it comes to that sort of thing.
Take a closer look and observe, even get a chance to interact with the Fire Crab in its natural habitat! Or simply have a walk among the rich, exotic Fijian foliage surrounding the area if you'd like. What's that you see? Fire Crabs aren't the only living creatures living in this rainforest, and with the few clear watered waterfalls spread about, it'll be hard to resist a quick jump and splash in one of them.
Luckily, I doubt your tour guide would be too put off if you choose to have one. |
