Evan watched her two employees wander off to complete their first tasks. She checked her watch, the other employees were running late as well. She sighed to herself, maybe there was an accident or something. She picked up her own clipboard and walked down a row herself. It'd be easier on her employees if she helped them with their tasks instead of just watching them do it.

Elijah strolled into the room; he figured it would probably be best to see if things were running smoothly. Stopping suddenly, he turned to the Division Head and nodded.

"Are things well, Evan?" he asked slowly. "I wanted to make sure we were ... ah ... receiving the prophecies better than before ... through, well, the system. Is everything okay?"

He took off his cloak as he awaited her response, hoping she knew what he meant.

Evan looked up when her Department Head walked into the Hall. "Hello sir," she said politely. "Yes, sir, everything is fine. But what do you mean? Better than before?" she asked him curiously, for she wasn't quite certain what he meant. They were coming in just fine.

"After the last mishap ... you know, when the stranger ... anyway, it's good to hear. Just checking in. Continue on, Evan. You're doing fine work." he nodded politely then headed back towards the door. He needed to check in on the other divisions before the day was over. Turning around and smiling at her, Elijah nodded once more then left the room.

Aidon placed the last prophecy on the dusty shelf. He took out his wand and etched the names,which the prophecy tells, on a small, golden plaque underneath the prophecy. He raised his wand's light at the murky sign that said "Row 35" in a fancy handwriting. He looked down at his clipboard and saw that he had finished his first task. He picked up the clipboard and walked back to Evan. He walked over just in time to see his department head walk by.
"Good morning, sir," he nodded to Elijah. He turned to Evan. "I've finished placing the prophecies on Rows 30-35, ma'am," he said politely to her.

Evan nodded in understanding. Now she knew what he was talking about. That one stranger. She smiled at Elijah when she heard she was doing fine work, and then watched him leave. "Good day, sir," she said after him.

Evan turned when she hear an employee walk up behind her. "Oh, good work Aidon," she said nicely, taking the clipboard from his hands. Her eyes scanned the sheet and then she tapped the clipboard with her wand once more. "Now if you don't mind, I need you to record the prophecies in rows 1 through 10. It may sound boring, but trust me... these prophecies are more peculiar than the ones you've just recorded. And I wouldn't trust just anyone to do this." She handed the clipboard back and pointed in the direction of the rows he was assigned.

Aidon smiled when Evan said that. He had been a tad bit bored this morning. However, he had applied for this job, so he had had it coming. He took the clipboard Evan handed him and walked in the direction she was pointing to.

After finishing the task he had been asigned Jack walked over to Evans
"Finished logging Sir,"jack said handing him the clip board "is there anything else you av me do sir?." jack asked looking very skinny and short next to the older men.
After all it was only a year since Jack had left Hogwarts.looking back up at evans he spook
"i.urr, just wanted to appogise for being late again Sir ment no arm" jack said looking sorry for himslef

Aidon shivered slightly. The eerie silence and consuming darkness caused a slight claustrophobic feeling about him. He gripped his wand tighter and strengthened the light emitting from his wand tip. He walked to his assigned row. He peered at the various prophecies among the shelves. Some were dimly light with cobwebs hanging off of them. Others were glowing a faint gold and look fairly polished. He took the crate he had with the prophecies and carefully took out the first one. He placed it on its correct shelf and pointed his wand at the blank plaque. He carefully etched in the names of which the prophecy foretold.

Aidon felt an odd sense of familiarity overcome him. His eyebrow rose involuntarily and he shrugged his feelings away. He levitated the next prophecy with his wand and walked along the aisle.

Sorena walked into the hall of prophecy. "Wow!" she said quietly. She looked around. "Hi there. I am Sorena Evans Malietta, and well.. I am new here, so .. Well, I just wanted to say hi to my co-workers." She smiled at them.

Aidon placed the last prophecy on its proper shelf. Someone's footsteps echoed across the vast room. He strengthened the light of his wand and began walking back to the Row 53. As he reached it he met another one of his co-workers. He smiled in the dim light. He flicked his wand and the clipboard shrank drastically. He placed the minuscule clipboard in the pocket of his navy robes.
"Hello, I'm Aidon," he said to Sorena. His voice cracked slightly from lack of use. "It's quite nice to meet you," he said to her kindly. He reached out to shake Sorena's hand

Sorena smiled. "Nice to meet you too," she said and shook his hand. "Wow," she whispered and looked at a prophecy

Aidon smiled again.
"So, you like it here?" he asked Sorena sarcastically. He knew that the gloom and emptiness wasn't very homey. However, it was this bizarre feeling of emptiness that Aidon loved so much.

Sorena nodded. "Yeah, it's great," she muttered happily. She looked suspiciously at a prophecy.

"Something wrong," Aidon frowned in the dim light. He watched Sorena glare at a prophecy. Though he didn't know why, Aidon began to feel an odd compressing feeling. It seemed the longer he stood there the more pressure was applied to his midriff. He lurched forward a bit and leaned against a wall for support. He leaned his back against a wall and slid down till he was sitting.
"This emptiness is getting to me," he explained to Sorena.

"Oh." she quietly. "Are you allright?" Sorena sat down a prophecy, she just had picked up and looked at him. "You do look a bit pale."

He inhaled deeply.
"I-yeah, I think so," though he muttered his voice echoed loudly. "I think I need some air....excuse me-" he stood up to walk over to Evan. A few moments later he found her and walked up slowly.
"Er...I was wondering if I could take a small break and get some air..." he asked unsurely.

She nodded with a smile, and turned around. The room was enormus, and she felt a weird sort of dizzy. She ignored it and walked over to another gathering of prophecys.

An owl swooped into the Hall of Prophecy, landing purposely in front of Aidon.


Aidon,
I need to see you immediately in my office. Please stop by as soon as possible.

Aidon read the letter slowly and stood up.
"Well, I'll be seeing you," he said to Sorena. He gave her a small wave.
"Lumos" he re-lit his wand. He walked toward the exit and headed for Elijah's office.

Sorena waved at him. "Bye," she said quietly. I wonder what that was about, she thought.

Oya walked into the Hall of Prophecy. A sudden chill swept over her as she walked along the dark corridor. She examined the dusty glass orbs, seeing if anythings was missing or wasn't right. She was new at this job, but she did it very well (she thought).

As Oya walked, checking if there was something wrong or unusual in this place she suddenly saw something. It was a soft green light coming from the distance. She approached the light and she saw one glass orb in front of her shanking and shining. This was usual here in the Hall of Prophesies.

Sometimes there would be a crooked glass orb and the first thing they learned when they came here was to fix these so called crooked glass orbs. She whispered a spell and the glass orb quickly stopped shaking. It shone a little bit more and then it finally stopped. Now the glass orb looked just like the others. Small and dusty.

Aidon, smiling brightly, walked back into the Hall of Prophecy. He conjured a clipboard and noticed one of his employees walking around. Inhaling deeply, he walke over to Oya.
"Good evening," he said politely. "My name is Aidon Elric, I'm your Division Head." He reached out to shake Oya's hand.

Oya smiled at the man standing in front of her.
"Oh hello. I'm Oya Allen. I'm new here" she said and shook Aidon's hand.
"I was having problems with those crooked glass orbs" Oya complained as she pointed to the formerly crooked glass orb "But Im ok now... I think" she added with a shy smile playing on her cherry lips.

Aidon smiled as he shook Oya's hand. He peered down at his list as the name Oya Allen materialized.
"How about I give you a quick rundown on the Hall of Prophecy"? he asked kindly. "These glass orbs are Phrophecies. They entail a person's, or persons', destiny. Now, all you need to do-" he conjured a box full of unlit prophecies
"-is place these prophecies on the correct shelf." he smiled in the dimness of his wandlight.
"Any questions?" he asked Oya.
