I LOVE YOU ALL! But in all seriousness, half of my love really is because of the amazing fandom HP has. The art, fanfiction, RPGs, fan worldbuilding...we rock! The other half is the feeling I get reading the books - at peace and completely absorbed in HP's world.

I started reading HP when I was 11. It was a rough time for me, as my parents were going through a divorce, and I was looking for a world to escape to. I checked the book out from my school library and immediately fell in love with the friendship between Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I used to dream of going to the Burrow and exploring the Weasley's home. The detailed description of every location captivated me.

I like the wizarding world since it's very interesting and captivating. I also love the fandom because the fanfiction, fanart, etc. are fun to look at and even more fun to create.

This is probably the first time I've tried to express how much I like the Harry Potter series in words. I grew up as the books were being released, and that feeling of anticipation in the weeks leading up to a book launch was unbeatable. My siblings and I had to share the one book, and were only allowed to read one chapter at a time before passing it on! The stories were captivating. Not only did they feed into my childhood imagination, but they fostered an imaginative and curious mind into adulthood.

There's something so comforting about the books. As someone who wants to read more than he actually does, this series is just so easy to pick up, and before you know it you've read 7 books in as many days. If there was one word I'd use to describe the series, it's comfort. Imagining being in the common room or library gives me such a warm and cozy feeling.

I do like the movies a lot (though, of course, I prefer the books). The soundtracks are legendary, and I'll go through periods where I listen to nothing but Harry Potter music all day. I like the HP video games a lot - recently Platinumed the Lego Harry Potter games, and I highly recommend the Harry Potter mods for Minecraft.

I discovered the Wizarding World through the books. What I love about it though is the fandom that surrounds harry potter. It is immersive and always expanding.

I love the adventures, the plot and the atmosphere created: you can feel the magic that doesn't exist in a real life. And of cource it is a great movie about friendship and true love.

I discovered Harry Potter when I was maybe 10... or younger, not sure. I read all the books and watched all the movies at least five times, so big fan. I love it because it takes me away from the mundane world I live in.

I don't really remember exactly how I got into Harry Potter, but I've loved reading from an early age and I assume my Dad probably gave me the book which kicked off a long obsession! As for the wizarding world, it's almost like a nice escape of sorts to just let myself imagine and create scenarios in my mind in a way I don't often do with other things.

There are so many possibilities nothing is finite, but it still gets explained. The author takes the time to try to give everything an explanation (although I'll never get over the time-turners).

I think for me it started first back in my high school days when Harry Potter was still availbable in the cinemas. And then a lot of our class went to the cinema and watched the entire series together and we used to talk about our favorite characters. I think I always prefered Emma Watson over anyone else in particular.

I always loved the world of Harry Potter because of its magic and the I really liked reading the books and seeing the movies play on film. I even checked out the games myself a few times as well. Hey, what can I say, I am a harry potter addict.

perhaps because it seems so close and so distant at the same time
the very theory of the existence of such a world where everything is possible
although it may actually exist, and we are all muggles
and the most interesting thing is that none of us will ever know about it
and as for all the characters, you seem to have known them for so long
and worried everything with them
and you will tell these stories to your grandchildren as if they were your own
in fact, it is difficult for me to express all my thoughts so that they look clear and understandable
too much can be said about why I like this magical world so much
I just love it!

It is so well made, every time you re-visit it there are always new details you pick up on or new links that are made.
Both books and films therefore become boring to me and I could genuinely re-visit them over and over.

it is so elaborate and well thought out. i love the magic beings and how oddly old-fashioned everything is. it was i always a place i'd dream myself into when the real world was too horrible. nowadays i'm a bit sad to think that rowling probably never intended there to be a place for people like me in her world though. i say let's claim this space then!

Itís such a great place. Everyone is happy and itís not possible to be too big a fan there. The fact also when in it you canít see anything that isnít part of the Harry Potter experience. Itís completely immersive.
