| | Which is your favorite Harry Potter film? And why? Which is your favorite Harry Potter film?
And why?
The original eight film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's blew the world away, but which blew you the most away?! Why is that? Were the additional scenes given to Tom Felton in his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince what pushed you over the edge? Was seeing the Quidditch World Cup AND the Triwizard Tournament come to life on the big screen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire enough to leave you stunned? Or perhaps Alan Rickman's unforgettable portrayal of Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 that propelled it to the top of your list? Whatever the reason, this is your space to share your favorite film and why! OotP has the BEST music and special effects. I feel like the actors playing the kids really started maturing in their acting choices during the filming of this movie and they felt like real characters to me, as opposed to the previous movies.

It's difficult to answer anything besides PS/SS since that was my intro to the wizarding world. I also think it's more tightly written than the rest.

The darkness and feeling that Cuaron brought to PoA was just amazing, there were some aspects of the book while reading that didn't give me a clear picture in my minds eye and the film curated a lot of those for me. What makes my mind up on this one is that if you could only show someone one of the films to give them a sense of what harry potter is, the world, the characters, the story... PoA does it best.

The best film would have to be prisoner of Azkaban or the deathly hallows part 2. Both great films and the ones that stay truest to the source material

| A Vote For the Graphics Display
While it is difficult to really stipulate 'a favorite movie' as all have their significant plusses, I guess I'd go for the last of them.
The graphics were a little more advanced, and the mood 'possibly' a little more developed.
But none of the movies are really 'complete' without the others, so it's really difficult to single any out as a 'favorite' meaningfully. Can we imagine the series without the whole?

Having only seen the Sorcerer's Stone, I guess I have to vote for it.

Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite movie. I really loved the aesthetics in the movie and the introductions of Sirius and Remus.

So it seems that I like the least favoured movie on this forum? Ive discovered recently that Deathly Hallows Part 1 is by far my favourite film. Despite thinking it was the romantic half blood prince all this time, I found myself always reaching for the 7th movie from my DVD pile whether I'm reorganizing my room for the umpteenth time or working on my laptop. Nick cave's o children is forever the background anthem of my bedroom. Ron's hollowed eyes (see what I did there...) or Hermione's jem drops of info about her muggle childhood. What does that say about me?

After stubbornly refusing to think that the Harry Potter franchise could possibly be as good as the Lord of the Rings, it was seeing the first film that got me into the wizarding world. I immediately got the books and audio books (that were available at that time) and never looked back.

Minister's Office | Favorite Harry Potter film My favorite Harry Potter film is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because it has a darker and more mysterious feel compared to the other movies. The story focuses on friendship, trust, and discovering hidden truths, which makes it exciting. Also, the new characters like Sirius Black and the time-travel twist add a lot of fun and adventure. And if you're interested in reading different celebrity biographies, you can find them on Celeb Grove

I quite like all of them, especially because of the character development. Having said that, Phoenix is my favourite, and if I had to skip on, then Goblet of Fire would get the axe.
