Default Which is your favorite Harry Potter film? And why?

Which is your favorite Harry Potter film?
And why?

The original eight film adaptations of J.K. Rowling's blew the world away, but which blew you the most away?! Why is that? Were the additional scenes given to Tom Felton in his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince what pushed you over the edge? Was seeing the Quidditch World Cup AND the Triwizard Tournament come to life on the big screen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire enough to leave you stunned? Or perhaps Alan Rickman's unforgettable portrayal of Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 that propelled it to the top of your list? Whatever the reason, this is your space to share your favorite film and why!

I have to love the first movie because the others wouldn't exist without it. Chamber of Secrets is my favorite because Lockhart is such an oaf, plus I like spiders.

Post My Favourite Harry Potter Film?

My favourite Harry Potter film has got to be philosopher's stone! It really captures the whimsical teetering on life threatening feeling of attending a magic school (with big emphasis on the whimsy, which is something i feel is very sadly forgotten about in the later films). Also, I find the clunky and dated cgi to be quite charming.

Half blood prince will always be my favorite partially because it was the only one of the films I got to actually see in the theatres

I really like the PoA Though the whole time-travel shtick is one of my least favourite parts of the series, I love the atmosphere in that film the most. It's not as bright and shiny as the previous two, but at the same time is not as depressing as the next films, just kinda in the perfect middle. And I really like the soundtrack. I also love the hippogriff, and Lupin in his "wolf" form is one of the scariest yet thrilling memories of my childhood.

Gryffindor Favourite Film and Why

My favourite film has to be Prisoner of Azkaban. The part where they make it to the shrieking shack and the truth comes out about Sirius and Harry finds out he has a family member...!!! SO GOOD!

My favorite films are the Chamber of Secrets and both of the Deathly Hallows movies. I think Chamber of Secrets is one of the best-made movies and I love the Deathly Hallows for their action scenes

I went for Prisoner of Azkaban because it was the film that took the series into a darker terrain - the two directed by Chris Columbus were good, solid flicks but Azkaban had a real hook.

POA and OOTP.

POA cause Severus in drag is hilarious and Alan pulled it off well; plus, it contains my favorite Snape line ever - turn to page 394.

OOTP cause of the Occlumency scenes between Severus and Harry.

My favourite Harry Potter movie is Prisoner of Azkaban, because of the introduction of Sirius and Remus, plus the connection that Harry finally has to his parents.

I think my favorite movie is Sorceror's Stone. The reason i think so is because it feels very magical since it's the introduction to the world, and its one of the most like the books!

My favorite Harry Potter movie is The Prisoner of Azkaban. As a teen the only Harry Potter DVDs I had were The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire, so I've seen those movies the most. I love the twist that Sirius isn't the villain. I love Remus Lupin and I love the kids getting older and maturing as teenagers.

My favorite is Goblet of Fire because the music is great and I think they did a valiant job bringing the games to life on the screen.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I favourite also Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because of Remus Lupin, the Marauder's Map, and many more in it.

I also favourite Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because of the Triwizard Tournament

I also favourited Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 because of the final fight between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

I also favourited Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 because of Harry Potter living an outcast life.

I also favourited Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince because of Dumbledore vs. Voldemort fight, and Dumbledore's death.

The Prisoner of Azkaban! I always loved the dark turn that the books took without relying on the presence of Voldemort, and the film was able to portray that perfectly

Default Goblet of fire

The very first one drew me into the series, but I do love Goblet of fire, I love the vibe of having this some sort of sports fest or intramurals between other schools which is pretty cool, and this is the point where things start to go in a darker perspective and the depth of field was going on a mature route as well.

I like the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Especially when Professor McGonagall casted the spell "Piertotum Locomotor" and her expression lingers until today.

GoF. Because its my favorite movie. I love the water scenes, and the secondary focus on not just the plot but the friendships and how difficult they can be at times.
