What is your favorite Wizarding World supplementary material?
And why?

Now that the Wizarding World has expanded so much, you surely have opinions about which new supplementary material is best! Are you a Fantastic Beasts fan? Is Pottermore your jam? How about Hogwarts Mystery or some of the other, older games? There's so much in the expanded universe of our Wizarding World, so let us know your favorites here! The poll is multiple choice, so if you pick more than one option, be sure to tell us why when you post!
Rules & Guidelines for this thread:
  1. Before posting, please make sure you have read through the Newbie Process, Snitchseeker's Rules & FAQ, and perused the Site Resources forum.
  2. This is not a questions thread. If you don't understand something and/or have a real question, go to The Question Thread.
  3. This is not a discussion thread. Rather, this is a place for you to share your personal experience and relationship with the expanded universe of Rowling's wizarding world. Discussion threads await you once you have graduated Newbie status, however!
  4. Only talk about materials that are not any of the original 7 Harry Potter books, nor the original 8 films. There are separate threads for you to share your favorites of those here and here!
  5. No spam. This means no posting off topic or posting multiple times in a row.

I miss the old video games. Those were some fun times. Can't believe I'd forgotten about them until I saw the poll.

Most definitly the old games of a broad varaity of consoles, I even bought some old hardware to be able to play them again recently, cd's and all. Its an incredible nostalgia trip, and I dont feel dissapointed in them either, they aged very well !

I love the extra writing material on Pottermore ( now called Wizarding World.) It's a great way to get more detail into the Wizarding World. With that being said, I do really miss exploring the art moments that it originally had on the site.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the movie is such a delight. I vote for it. The following two movies were just mediocre.

I love the Cursed Child. It's not my favorite Harry Potter piece, but there's something about it that speaks to me

I really enjoyed the supplementary reading materials that were birthed out of the HP franchise. I remember reading them in my Gran's yard as a kid and just thought it was so cool! I hadn't seen many series do that before.

I still go on Wizarding World to reread some articles from the JK Rowling Archive, but I preferred it back when it was Pottermore, which I found to be much more fan-friendly. The design was more in-line with the book series and the interactive activities were a lot of fun. I loved the art for all the book scenes the site depicted.
And Quidditch Through the Ages, Fantastic Beasts, and Beedle were awesome bonus material of the book series. They give good answers to aspects of the Wizarding World a lot of fans wonder about.

Yeah, I miss the old Pottermore art too. Solid renderings of scenes from the books.

I chose the Crimes of Grindelwald because- personally I prefer that aspect of the wizarding world over what was originally displayed to the rest of us (harry potter.)

I'll never forget how cool it was to get Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch Through The Ages back in the day, it just felt like such a cool glimpse into that world, and in such a neat way. Now, though, I mean there's nothing else for me that compares to Hogwarts Legacy. I cannot get enough of just walking through the world of that game. It gives me goosebumps constantly, and more than once has made me a little emotional.
