New Chapter! Chapter 5: Poppy Parkinson Albus, Lily, and Hugo found Rose sitting on a bench near a store, a few tear stains on her cheeks. She looked and noticed the three watching her and quickly stood up and sighing. “I think I’m going back to the castle. I’m just not up to shopping right now.” She said. “It’s ok. We understand.” Albus said putting a hand on her shoulder. “Yeah, want someone to go with you?” Hugo asked. Rose shook her head no and said goodbye to her cousins and brother, making them promise to bring her a butterbeer and sweets from Honeydukes. Scorpius waited in the Entrance Hall for Poppy, lecturing himself for actually agreeing to go with Poppy to Hogsmeade. He looked around for her and sighed. What was taking her so long! He leaned against the wall and waited, growing more and more impatient as ten minutes passed on. Scorpius was about to go back to the common room when he heard the sound ok clicking. He looked towards where he thought the noise was coming from and saw Poppy wearing heels that she could barely walk in. Every few steps she would trip or stumble. Scorpius rolled his grey eyes and walked up to Poppy, catching her as stumbled for the ten millionth time. She giggled girlishly and wrapped her arms around Scorpius. “Thanks Scorpy!” She said. Scorpius helped her up and unwrapped her arms. “Come on.” He said. “Let’s get this nightmare over with.” He mumbled. “What was that?” Poppy asked looking at him. “Nothing.” Scorpius said. The whole walk to Hogsmeade was torture for both Scorpius and Poppy. Poppy because she was wearing heels that were killing her feet, she couldn’t even feel her feet anymore! Every few steps she would trip or stumble or slipping! It was torture for Scorpius because he had to go out with Poppy, how much torturing could anything else be? Just as they were about to enter the village, Poppy grabbed Scorpius’s hand so tightly that he could feel her nails dig into his flesh. And then there they were, standing in the village. Poppy clinging to Scorpius like gum on the bottom of someone’s shoe. Poppy kept flashing smiles, doing poses, and waving at people then pointing at Scorpius making kissy faces. ‘She’s probably trying to get her picture in The Quill.’ Scorpius thought referring to the school’s newspaper. “So how about we go to Puddifoot’s? Heard that’s where all the lovey dovey couples go.” Poppy said. “Uh I don’t know Popp-” Scorpius began, but before he could finish Poppy had pulled him into the little tea shop. Poppy forced Scorpius down onto a cushion and sat down across from him, looking around a little. “So Scorpius I love getting to hang out with you. People are already saying that were a cute couple!” She said squealing. “Ok for our one month anniversary I want to go-” “Wait what!” Scorpius asked looking at Poppy, his eyes wide with horror. One month anniversary! What was she talking about! They weren’t even a couple. “You heard me silly.” Poppy said in a ‘duh’ tone. “Our one month anniversary!” She said. “Hold on Poppy, were not dating. I only agreed to go out with you so you would leave me alone, not cling to me. I’m out of here.” He said getting up and strutting out the shop as quick as he could. Scorpius was going back to the castle, he didn’t want Poppy catching him somewhere else in the village and handcuffing them or something. As he passed by Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop he stopped to hear Rose Weasley say something to Turner. He roared with laughter along with everyone else. ‘Wow the girl goes through things quickly. Yesterday she was obsessed with him. And today she’s calling him a zoo animal!’ He continued laughing as he walked back to the school. |
Marcy that was great! Poor Scorpius! I would hate to go with Poppy and have her clinging to me for dear life so she doesn't fall. haha Loved it Marcyluff! :) Jess |

Fourth of July Double Feature! Hey guys! Happy Fourth of July for those who live here in America! I thought I would do something special for y'all so I am doing a....*drum roll* LOVE IS DANGEROUS DOUBLE FEATURE! That means I'm posting two chapters today! YAY! Chapter 6: A Long Talk Rose arrived back at the castle and made her way up to the girls dormitory in Gryffindor Tower. As she sat down on her bed she remembered the note she had received earlier at Hogsmeade. Carefully she unfolded it and read the words that had been written. Sorry I didn’t reply. The old coot Xander caught me being out late. Made me clean the owlery. Uck! So how’s your day been so far? Mr. P.B Rose laughed as she read the message. She searched for a quill in her trunk and wrote her reply. Scorpius sat on a window sill on the second floor corridor, staring out at the grounds. He didn’t want to go back to the common room. He’d have to face questions from Kelly and the two other nincompoops he called friends. From the corner of his eye he saw something flying towards him and cautiously lend over to see what it was. It was a paper airplane and that meant Smarty Girl. He grabbed the plane and quickly unfolded the note. That’s alright, but I do hate you for making me wait till four in the morning for a reply. My day was ok I guess. I saw my ex-boyfriend at Hogsmeade. That just kind of ruined my day. How was your day? Smarty Girl Scorpius looked around for quill. He got off the window sill and grabbed a quill from a passing second year. My day wasn’t that great either. I went to Hogsmeade with a psycho. Not kidding. But on my way back I saw a hilarious thing. Mr. P.B Lol. She sounds like a really pain in the butt. What she try to do to you? Smarty Girl She started talking about what she wanted for out one month anniversary. I only went out with her so she’d leave me alone! Not to find a girlfriend. Mr. P.B Wow….she is a psycho. So do you have a girlfriend? Smarty Girl No, not now anyway. I guess I’m just to busy with N.E.W.Ts to worry about having a girlfriend. My dad would kill me if I failed. My mom would kill me. My dads doesn’t really care about my grades as long as I try my best. There concersation went on and on and on. They finally stopped talking around dinner time, promising to talk again soon. |
Fourth of July Double Feature! He’s Cute Rose woke up the next morning, more happy than the day before. She had had a great time talking, or rather writing, to Mr. P.B. Fortunately they hadn’t spent to long talking cause the next day they were having classes again. She crawled out of bed and got ready before heading down to the Great Hall. She sat down next to Hugo and smiled up at her friends. “Good morning guys.” Rose said grabbing a roll. “Morning Rose. Feeling better today?” Albus asked biting into his toast. Rose nodded and began to butter the roll. “Much better thanks.” She replied. Scorpius sat at the Slytherin table eating Pixie Puffs when Kelly appeared out of no where , sitting down across from her friend. “So how’d Hogsmeade go?” She asked, a smirk on her lips. Scorpius glared up at her and said, “Horrible ok, horrible! Poppy thinks were a…a couple! She’s already talking about what we should do for our one month anniversary! The girl is crazy, Kelly, crazy!” Scorpius said. “Calm down Scorpius. You should hear what Poppy thinks of the date.” Kelly said putting some waffles on her plate. “What?” Scorpius asked lifting an eyebrow. “She thinks that your scared of a commitment. She thinks that you’ll get used to it and a whole bunch of other crap.” Kelly said waving her fork around. “Again, she’s crazy.” Scorpius said pushing his bowl of cereal away. “Anyways, I’ll see you later Kelly. I need to get to potions.” He said getting up and picking his bag up. He walked down to the dungeon classroom and looked up at the chalkboard. It had a seating chart on it and he was sitting next to Rose Weasley. Scorpius looked around a spotted the red head talking to girl behind her. He walked over to the seat next to her. “Hey Rose.” He said setting his bag down on the table. “Guess were working together.” Rose nodded her head and smiled. “Yup. I wonder which potion we have to make.” She said flipping through her textbook. “Let’s hope it’s something interesting.” Scorpius said turning to the front of the room as Professor Linden walked in. “Good morning class. I thought we’d start this year out with a little project.” He said, causing the students to groan loudly. “Oh come on. Suck it up. Now you will work with the person next to you and I’ll let you decided as partners on which potion you’ll make. The potion must be at least half way done by the end of class. You may begin.” Linden said sitting down at his desk. Rose and Scorpius got to work flipping through their textbook, trying to decide which potion they should make. “How about the Confusing Concoction?” Scorpius said showing Rose the page. Rose examined the page and nodded her head. “Sure. It’s a concoction so all the potion is a mixture of ingredients.” She said. They began working, chopping up ingredients and stirring them in the cauldron. As they worked they made conversation. “Nice job dissing Turner yesterday. That was hilarious. ‘You look familiar; did I see you in the zoo parade?’ Hilarious!” Scorpius said chuckling. Rose smiled. “Thanks.” She looked at Scorpius, smiling at how charming his grey eyes looked. Scorpius looked over at her and smiled, “What?” He asked. “Nothing.” Rose said turning back to the potion. ‘His really cute. And he’s really sweet too….’ |
MARCY! i lubbed the two updates. as much as living in england sucks for not having a 4th of july. -well it does. but we dont celbrate it ;)- they were aweesome. oooh my. what would happen if rose began to like scorpius but still liked mr p.b :S not knowing it was him :D |
