So you've written the letter. You're all set to go. But before you can, there's a few things we need from you before we can post your correspondence!

Really, all you'll need to do is fill out this handy dandy questionnaire!

A few key things to remember when filling this out:

Do include the username of the person the letter is intended for. After all, we don't know everyone's characters! Letters sent without a username in the 'To:' category may take longer to deliver.
Do remember to check off where the character is located. After all, wouldn't want your letter meant for a Ministry character to end up in the hands of a Student!
Don't hotlink if you're sending a package and including pictures. Any hotlinked images will not be attached to owls. If you're sending a package, be sure to upload the pictures to your own account.
Don't fill out multiple questionnaires if you're sending an IDENTICAL letter and/or package to multiple senders in the same RP area! Just fill out one and list all recipients in the appropriate space. We'll know what to do from there.

If you have a certain date OOC for your letter to be delivered, please indicate this in the 'Additional Instructions' space on the questionnaire.

So you've filled out the questionnaire? Good! You're almost done! Now all you need to do is buy the appropriate postage for what you're sending! You'll have to role-play at the Owl Post Service Desk for that. Don't know which postage you'll need? Never fear! One of our lovely employees will be there to help you and send your letter on its way!

Yes, you have to RP your character at the Owl Post Service Desk for your letter to be sent. Please don't forget about that part! We can't send a letter without postage, after all. Also note that it sometimes takes us a few days to get the letters delivered as we are very busy shopkeepers, please have the questionnaire filled out and RPing done a few days in advance of your requested delivery time. We make no guarantees for last minute letters!
