Definitely Ginny... the movies made her very plain and emotionless, and it seemed that there was absolutely no chemistry between her and Harry.

In fact she didn't do anything in the films, and they never made a point to show that she could do anything...

I guess Dumbledore (#2) is the most glaring example. All through the books he was very composed, calm, and confident, which gave him a powerful presence without resorting to violence or outbursts. Richard Harris would have been ideal to play him in all 8 films. I think Michael Gambon did a fine job of playing some variation of Dumbledore, but he was definitely not playing the book Dumbledore. I don't know if it was entirely his fault or if the scripts were changing style after the second film. However, I did like Gambon's performances in the sixth and eighth films. It seems he was trying to return to the calm demeanor exhibited in the books and the first two films.
