Default Romance: did the pairs have chemistry?
~ Mrs Steve Harrington ~ Friendly Neighbourhood Hufflepuff ~

Dan Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright? Rupert Grint and Emma Watson? This is the thread to discuss your thoughts on the romantic chemistry between these and other pairs. Were they a yay or nay? Would you have switched the actors and actresses around so that they would have been more chemistry with another actor or actress? For example Rupert and Bonnie as Ron and Hermione respectively? What about TOO much chemistry? Do you think there’s a pair that falls under this category?

Discuss away!

I think Emma Watson and Rupert Grint had great on-screen chemistry and they portrayed Ron and Hermione's relationship wonderfully.
Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright on the other hand, I never felt a spark between them.

One thing that kind of bothered me was the lack of chemistry between Remus/Tonks... Though, I'm also not entirely sure I felt there was a lot of chemistry between these characters in the books either. I did hope that they'd fix that issue in the movies to make it make more sense, but it felt really half-baked to me. Especially in the Deathly Hallows movies where they just slipped Tonks' pregnancy in there. If I hadn't read the book first, I would have been SO confused!
