Default Flourish and Blotts

About halfway down the north side of the Alley stands Flourish and Blotts, the shop noticeable by its wide picture windows displaying all sorts of gold-embossed spellbooks, any new releases warranting advertisement and the occasional sleeping cat, as the shopkeeper’s two cats occasionally decide to make the window display their chosen napping place when they aren’t underfoot. Upon entry, all that seems to be visible are bookshelves, stacked to the ceiling and absolutely filled with books of all shapes and sizes. While it may look like chaos, there is a sort of order to the shelves and various stacks of books scattered throughout the main floor in addition to those shelved. A table sits close to the door which regularly holds sets of Hogwarts’ required textbooks every summer for the ease of students who may not want to hunt them down on their own, and a staircase, even more shelves filling the space underneath, leads up to a second floor that contains shelves of the various works of fiction from the Wizarding world and beyond.

Near the center of the shop stands the counter, where the shopkeeper can usually be found and which is also the location for the occasional book-signing or other book-related event. Surrounding the counter are displays of newspapers, magazines, diaries, journals and other small items that might interest the literary-minded customer. In addition, a large, leather-bound book rests on a small stand to the left of the counter: an index of all the books sold in the shop for the use of the customers who are in a hurry or simply don’t want to search through all the shelves on their own.

Toward the back of the shop, a door leading to a storage area and the small office used for paperwork and any other business the shopkeeper needs to take care of in private, a cat-door installed as well as the cats’ food and water while they’re in shop are there. Tucked away in various corners of the shop, half hidden by shelves and very cozy, are small reading nooks containing squashy chairs and small tables for a lamp, and a larger reading area including a fireplace can be found near one of the front windows. Enjoy!

He didn’t like her because she asked about his personal life? ”… What am I supposed to ask you about?” He was sending mixed signals, for the record. One minute it was ‘you don’t know me’ and the next it was ‘but when you ask to get to know me it makes me uncomfortable’. Clearly there was no winning here.

Which only made Nina WANT to win even more. See the problem?

”Fine.” Though she wasn’t all too sure that he knew much more about making friends than she did. Last time she checked, all those times she had run into him, he had been alone too. ”How do YOU make friends then?” He could ask her those same questions and she would have absolutely no problem with it. Probably. Or she’d find ways to deflect, and that in itself was a talent.
Yes, they went to the same school but Hogwarts is HUGE and there are gazillions of students there but somehow Nina was always around. Like the universe always had their way to make them being in the same room, just like today. All those days on his day off from his kitchen crew duty yet somehow the Slytherin was also here. "Do you always ask others if they had kissed someone when you just met them on the first time?" Or that's just how she initiate the conversation? No wonder why some of her fellow Slytherin girls weren't fond of her.

Well.... Honestly Keenan had never really bothered with making friends. Like, if that particular person found him weird or thought he's not worthy then he's not going to put efforts to approached them and make them like and befriend him. Hence why he only had like.... several people whom he considered as friends or something like that. "... It just happened." That wasn't wrong, though. When he interacted with someone who apparently had same or similar interests with him then they would bond through it. And now, did they both have same hobbies? Didn't think so. Nina once mentioned he's boring because he enjoyed doing puzzles and Lego and not to bothered with science-fiction movies.

In summary, the chance of them being friends was... highly unlikely.

Perhaps HE was the one stalking HER. It was all perspective, was it not?

Nina gave Keenan a wide-eye look for only a few seconds. Shewas slightly taken aback by his snarky comment, but remained calm and poised all the same. As always. Nina Castillo was nothing if not graceful. "No," she replied casually. "And... that wasn't the first time we met." Just to be clear. They met in the library. The potions lesson came in the week that followed.

Keenan Burton was literally the most frustrating boy she had ever met in her entire life. And boys were particularly frustrating, as like, a species. So this was a heavy statement to make and she would not make it without truly being certain that it held true. Though perhaps something more frustrating than how infuriating he was, was the fact that he seemed to ENJOY being called a conundrum. As if he took his impossibility as a compliment. Nina simply looked at him, unimpressed with his answer and furious with everything else about him. There was no logical reason for his disinterest in her. Unless he wasn't into girls like that? Or maybe he wasn't into anyone like that?

Actually, the fact that he didn't seem to notice how nice her hair was or how cute her smile was or how good she smelled or how pretty she was or-- All of the abOVE was the one thing that frustrated her the MOST.

And so she did what any logical, mature, young woman would do. She took a step forward and gave him a kiss. On. The. Lips.

A quick one, mind you. Because she hadn't ever kissed anyone before and she had been saving it for the perfect moment (which this wasn't) and for the perfect person (which this wasn't). But she wanted to prove a point and the ends justified the means. But when she pulled back, her cheeks burned red and she could feel her heart-rate picking up. She regretted it instantly. Nina Castillo rarely made daft decisions, but perhaps kissing Keenan Burton in Flourish and Botts was one of those rare instances.

Ahem, yeah that conversation happened when they were in the middle of potions lesson but they just barely knew each other at that time (well, even until now he still thought Nina wasn't that close to be an acquaintance). So asking a very personal question wasn't appropriate and he had a right to refuse answering that. Not that he was ashamed of being a late bloomer or whatever the term was but he just thought to keep his private life to himself.

You know what? Keenan was done with this stupid argument. Perhaps this was his cue to leave but somehow he noticed this girl leaned closer and ...

.........................

Did she just? Yes, she did. Even though it was quick but still.... unexpected. He had never thought of kissed someone or even being kissed like... it was just a kiss, no big deal about it and no pressure if he was like the only fifteen year-old boy who had never kissed/being kissed until now. Keenan just stood there, felt the warmth of his cheeks, said no words and his heartbeat was also racing like he had run a few miles. Still not being able to break the silence, he just looked at the Slytherin in confused expression. Yes, he was confused because what should he do?? Kissed her back? Said "Thank you for the kiss?" Asked her why she did that? He was totally inexperienced in this field hence the overthinking.

Welp.

He didn't have to answer the question. She wouldn't have made a big deal had he been polite, but he shut her out immediately and the rest of the lesson was mighty awkward. As was every other one of their interactions. Especially now.

Nina Castillo did not consider herself a reckless person. In fact, she considered herself the exact opposite of reckless. She was calculative, somewhat reserved, and rarely acted on instinct alone. But here she was with Keenan Burton in the middle of the history section of Flourish and Botts. Kissing. Well, kissed. If it could even be considered that much. Was it reckless? Less than one would think it to be. She had her reasons. But at the moment, she was burning up. Her cheeks flushed pink and her eyes nervous, the girl quickly turned in a panic and cleared her throat.

Her first kiss. She had given it away. The gravity of what she had done dawned upon her. She had been saving her first one.

In all honesty, she was hoping to share her first kiss with Drewett Slinkhard... Or Calloway Bennigan... Or Hudson Lupin... Or, Józef Kowalski. In fact, there was a list of about ten boys she wouldn't have minded sharing her first kiss with and yet here she was with Keenan Burton. The last person she would have thought of.

"This is the one I needed," she quickly reached up to the shelf, picking out a book about who-knows-what and holding it as if it was the EXACT thing she had been looking for. Spoiler alert: It wasn't. She picked it up at random. Anything to shift the focus of the moment.

First kiss was overrated, he thought. Why everybody was obsessed with it? Keenan had never bothered to think about it and more focused on more important things... Such as his study. Yes, call him boring or nerd or whatever. He had been immune with all those terms ever since his days at primary school so it wasn't a big deal.

One minute she just jumped in and kissed him then next... found the book she wanted to buy? Huh, this was weird. The Ravenclaw knew she's trying to avoid what just happened or probably would act like it never happened because it looked like Nina had regretted kissing a weirdo like him. Wow. Probably Keenan would just play along with her, acted like it never happened. Except he couldn't. "You just kissed me and then you found the book that, I guarantee it's not the actual one you're going to get." His voice sounded more stern than his usual.

He would like to know the reason behind the impromptu kissing.

Overrated is a word that could be used to describe many things in this world. For example, the coffee sold at a shop for 5 sickles is overrated when the same coffee could be made at home for a fifth of the price. Gobstones is an overrated sport where there is very little need for skill and ultimately requires an abundance of luck. Witch Weekly is overrated and often redundant in it's published content. A first kiss, however, was not overrated. Nina Castillo didn't think it was, anyway.

And for the record, she had just now decided that what she was feeling was not regret for the sake of kissing him. It was regret for the sake of waiting for so long just to waste it on a moment that she hadn't prepared for. Her first kiss was meant to be perfect. Instead, it was this. And she had no one else to blame but herself... And Keenan Burton for being so damn frustrating. It was his fault too.

"Yes," she replied casually, turning to face him. She did kiss him. And then she found the book. Of course for all the subtlety that her voice wore, her complexion was telling another story. Her face was absolutely FLUSHED red. "... What makes you think I wasn't looking for a book about--" um. "the Soap Blizzard of 1378?" There couldn't have been a worse subject to read about. "I'm a fan of hygiene." There also couldn't have been a worse thing to say. Nina was slipping up. This was rare.

She had been hoping to fluster him and yet she had managed to do it to herself. This was a disaster.

Like he had said before, Keenan was not a very open book person, hence why people (especially her) thought that he was being difficult. It was his defense mechanism because he didn't want any toxic person intruding his life and dictating what should he do in order to make himself become someone who wasn't the real him. It wasn't good for his mental health. Social pressure was also bad for it, that's why he stepped away from that and just being... himself; the awkward, nerd, puzzle-lover, difficult person.

If Nina Castillo thought he was being difficult and frustrating, why she insisted to approach him? Why on earth she kissed him? Did she think a peck of her lips would change him? It was not.

The title of the book made him giving a "huh" look. Clearly she was lying about that but the Ravenclaw was going to ignore that. "Looks like my job here is done." His lips curved into a smile, a really tiny one that probably she wouldn't notice about it. Since she had found the "book", Keenan turned his back from her and walked away. If she didn't want to talk about how she just kissed him then it was okay by him. Probably now she had regretted her action just now because kissing someone like him was embarrassing and wished it'd never happened again.

It was okay for him. Just like what he always said.

Yeah, well, Nina wasn't an open book either. Despite the image she tried to sell, the girl was incredibly private. And selective with the information she chose to share with others. And Nina wasn't trying to dictate what he should or shouldn't do. Aside from the talking thing. She did want him to say more words, but that was so that they could have a proper conversation as opposed to whatever this was turning out to be. She didn't mind the awkward, nerd, puzzle-lover person. It was the difficult part that struck a nerve.

Why did she approach him? .... Why'd she kiss him?... That information was highly classified.

"Wait! Keenan!?" He was just going to LEAVE?

She stood in place, helplessly. A book that she didn't want to read (or BUY, for that matter) in her hands, cheeks ablaze (STILL), and heart-rate still faster than usual.

At a rather unremarkable hour of the day, an owl makes a hasty drop off on the steps of the book shop. It does not wait to receive payment, nor does it wait to see if anyone claims the package before flying off.

Unlike other packages that get delivered to this fine establishment, this one is not wrapped at all. It's a book, a book with a cover that glows on and off. It sits waiting to be collected.

Bookstores were one of the things that Louise always found comfort in compared to America because it was one thing that was definitely very similar in the cultures. So it wasn't really a shock to find the young American at Flourish and Blotts after work...

The brunette frowned though just before entering the establishment upon seeing a glowing book. Had someone dropped this from their purchases? Books weren't usually outside the shop ...? Biting her lip, she squatted down to pick it up, figuring she'd bring it into the shopkeeper to see who maybe just bought it. And while doing so... opened it to have a peek inside as to what sort of book was within this cover?

Closing down the Owl Post was not something Zachaël tended to do, often times even having his lunch at the front counter. But every now and then some annoying voice in the back of his mind would remind him that he needed fresh air just as much as the owls in his keep and that taking a proper lunch break was not a crime.

So here he was. Today with Mangig twitching and nipping on his shoulder, his talons sinking into the soft canary yellow towel draped over his strip button-up.

Having picked up something to-go from the vendors, the curly haired gent made his way over to Flourish and Blotts to see what light reading options may be available to him now that he had the Owl Post in pristine condition. Something to help him pass the time between the lull of customers other than holding nonsensical conversations with his owls.

......and speaking of owls. That was one he was not familiar with. Though that was no pressing matter to the man, it was virtually impossible to know every single owl who delivered the post.

Eyeing the owl as it flew off, his piercing blue eyes shifted soon enough to the young woman who had collected the book off the front steps and was having a little looksies.

"....peculiar spot to have your post delivered," he mused skeptically as he approached her further and dipped his head down to take his own gander at the title of the glowing book - which displeased the scops owl on his shoulder, earning him a sharp nip on the earlobe. "Witchery Washings," he read aloud as he straightened. Sounded like the sort of book he needed, to be honest. There was this one unruly spot on the floor of his flat that was resistant to all attempts he had made at removing it. "If I hadn't seen the owl drop it of myself I would have presumed you had stolen it right out from under Elizabeth's nose."

Whom he assumed was the intended recipient. Whoever she had ordered from was careless and ought to have their business practices questioned. None of his owls would ever deliver things unwrapped like that.

There was plenty to keep her busy between getting the shop ready for summer, concern over what was happening at Hogwarts and her youngest daughters’ safety, and the understandable excitement that had come with finding out Dylan was expecting, but Elizabeth was somehow managing to keep it all controlled. Oddly enough, she had almost been missing the presence of the twins at the shop, but there were still the cats. Not to mention all the usual day to day responsibilities of keeping the bookshop running.

Today, she had been waiting for her usual delivery when the sound of something thumping to the ground just outside the door had piqued her interest. Usually deliveries arrived at the back, but maybe it was just one of those days. “Maybe I forgot about a change in deliveries or something,” she said softly to herself, as she wove her way through the stacks from the counter where she’d been checking on the reference tome for updates, stepping deftly over Rumpleteazer’s tail as the cat laid on the floor near the charms section and approaching the door.

Only to find someone picking a book up off the ground. “I don’t recall seeing that book before,” she said conversationally, green eyes more focused on the glowing cover of the book than the woman holding it. Glowing books weren’t usually something she came across often in her inventory, so it was definitely intriguing.

... her post delivered? Louise glanced up from the title at the approach of a scruffy looking man as he looked over her to the title of the book, reading it aloud. "It's not mine," Louise quickly said defensively. Okay, that probably didn't sound good considering what he said next about stealing it from Elizabeth's nose. Wait, what... an owl dropped it off? But weren't parcels usually wrapped? Also, who was Elizabeth? Oh, she must have been the shop owner.

Speaking of ....

She tilted her head at the woman - who must have been Elizabeth, Louise could only assume - squinting at her. "So you didn't order this? No shoppers dropped this? Where .. ?" Louise was perplexed. Also, if she didn't order it, did that mean she automatically got to keep it for free? It seemed like the sort of thing that might be a good bathroom read.

Had she even thought about questioning if he was the culprit for the odd delivery, her having only noticed after the fact that Zachaël was also present on the shop’s doorstep would have answered the question and, after an apologetic look at the Owl Post shopkeeper, Elizabeth went back to trying to decipher the mystery of how the book had gotten there. After a subtle check behind her to make sure neither of the kittens was near enough to be eyeing Mangig.

Oddly the thought the woman might be stealing the book hadn’t occurred to her, either. “No, I hadn’t ordered it. And I’d’ve thought I would have noticed someone passing by who may have dropped it,” the petite blonde had mused, stepping closer to the book and glancing at Zachaël again as more of his words had registered.

“I’m assuming it wasn’t one of your owls then,” she continued, eyes back on the book after a moment. “Honestly, I had been expecting a delivery of a few new books to prepare for summer. But I never get my deliveries at the front door.” Which she expected he knew already. Nor would she have thought anyone would be interested in this book specifically. Had she ever heard of it before in the first place.

"Obviously," he replied dryly to the younger woman, his interest still peaked by the book. Mangig, however, seemed less eager to be engaged with the book. Either that or the all natural hair product he had in his hair today to help keep his curls looking silky and full had a pleasant flavor to it because the scops owl was consistently nipping and tugging on them. It was possible, he had learned a rough lesson in using the wrong sort of products that left creatures ill when they were just trying to be affectionate.

But...enough about hair care. He wanted to care a bit more about this book.

"Nothing delivered from the Owl Post would be delivered with such negligence," he scoffed at Elizabeth and her query. Unwrapped and no address labels? What did she think he was? A barbarian? Not to mention his falconry skills were superior and not even a fidgeting and sporadic flyer like Mangig would make such an error in the location of delivery. "Looks like a cleaning book of some sort based on that calligraphy there," he added with a big of a finger wheel at the cover. "I would assume that would also account for the glowing." Clever advertising, if he did say so himself. "Mind if I have a look?"

Zachaël had a thing for cleaning enchantments.

Louise glanced from the bookstore shopkeeper to the owl post shopkeeper, her honey eyes shining. A mixture of confusion with where the book came from but also if she could keep it because that was what was important, clearly. Especially if the bookstore shopkeep didn't order it, which made it an accidental delivery??? Which meant ... who did this book belong to?

"I suppose, but does that make the book mine to keep? Since it's got no address labels for its intended recipient or who it came from?" She passed it off to the wizard to have a look. She was fairly into cleaning herself, always preferring the minimalist lifestyle given her free and adventurous spirit.

Speaking of minimalist ... "Your window display is very cluttered looking... May I ..." but she didn't even wait for a response from the woman, before moving towards the display to remove a few books and rearrange it in a different way. "Your windows. Oh my."

No she wasn't looking for part-time employment. She just genuinely wanted to help give the bookstore a more open and clean look for when the students arrived. She wasn't even sure WHY she wanted to, but it was this urge she suddenly had to rearrange and clean. Perhaps she'd clean up by the rubbish bin later.

Obviously someone had taken her meaning just a bit wrong, although Elizabeth had largely shrugged off Zachaël’s scoffing remark. There were better things to deal with than a silly argument amongst shopkeepers over an offhand remark. “I know it wouldn’t be, which is why I send most of my business your way,” she did point out, however, although the bulk of her attention was still on the mystery book being passed around. She still was both intrigued and wary of the fact the title was glowing.

And the woman’s continued questions over whether she was allowed to take it only was met with a calculated look, even as he petite blonde shopkeeper had craned her neck to peer at the book, now in Zachaël’s possession. “Perhaps it should rather be brought to the attention of the Ministry, or Gringotts at the least. Cursebreakers. Just in case. And perhaps it’d be safer with me in the meantime?” Since she owned the bookshop, not to mention she was getting more and more curious about the book’s provenance by the moment.

“Artful clutter…” She didn’t have an artist for a cousin for no reason. Why was the woman rearranging her displays? She was only grateful one of the kittens wasn’t disturbed in the process. Cat scratches weren’t pleasant, after all. But really, she did think she ought to retain the book for herself. For safety’s sake.

Of all the juvenile logic. Wasn't finders keepers something that children did? He, thankfully for everyone involved, kept his thoughts to himself and settled on sending the young woman an incredibly lepid look - his icy blues looking even more frosty as he took the book from her and ran his slightly calloused hands over the leather bound cover.

"It belongs to whomever ordered it," he corrected the young woman as he opened it up to a random page somewhere around two thirds of the way through the text and gave the page a skim. "It's not their fault the postal service they used was inadequate and lost their delivery." Though he now felt obligated to help sort this out.

....and polish the front counter again. And the owl cages. And bathe all the owls again. And iron all the parchment and stationary he had in supply. Wax the floors too, by hand and on his knees...maybe with a tooth brush. A new tooth brush. One that he had washed and scrubbed clean after purchase.

....a couple new tooth brushes so he could also brush his teeth and his owl's beaks...

"Hmmm?" he questioned with a slight tilt of the head towards Elizabeth once more as he passed the book over to her. "Oh. Of course. I'll look through my customer receipts and see if I can sort through and alphabetize a paper trail for this book."

New index cards. Would need to iron those as well.

....and just then, Mangig relieved himself on the towel draped over the man's shoulder.

Whether he was going to graduate at Hogwarts or in Hogsmeade next term, Dorian was planning to go out with perfect grades. Or...well....good grades was probably a safer bet. His goal was to get at least an Acceptable or higher on every NEWT exam. Anything below was a fail grade and he did not want that on his school report. A single fail could influence his whole future career and he really wanted to become a Mediwizard.

But in order to achieve that he had to study. Even more than he normally did. Which was why he was browsing the bookshelves with a stack of books in his arms, dangerously swaying as he reached for another book about advanced charms. He wanted to pick out a couple of books, place them on the table and select the ones that he thought would help him with his quest. But first he had to grab that last one...

Childish, maybe? But where was the proof of who ordered it? There was literally no way to track the book. Artful clutter? What? Oh ... was she not supposed to rearrange the display? The brunette looked between the two, at the blonde's suggestion of bringing it to the Ministry or Cursebreakers. "If noone claims it though..." Louise muttered, her mind going a million miles per second with things she left undone at the office. At home.

Wait. Did she leave the stove on? Oh, she needed to scrub the windows later. Perhaps she'd swing by the pharmacy later and pick up some gloves. The floor at the office was getting grungy and she needed to scrub it. And get a new filing system up for the international ambassadors.

Wait... what were they talking about? Oh alphabet. She should pick up some alphabet soup as well. "And I'll uh ... just go pick up that garbage that some disobedient kid dropped... did you see all the GUM on the bench? Who cleans that? Don't people realize that this is a place people shop!! Honestly"

There was really no argument to be had against Zachaël’s conclusions regarding the other woman’s continued feelings that she had just as much right to claim it as anyone. “None of us are going to claim it until we find out where it came from,” Elizabeth replied, still slightly curious about the reasons behind the woman’s new focus on tidying up. And yet not quite connecting it to the letters traced out on the cover of the book in question, what with everything else going on. Namely, trying to solve the mystery of how a possibly cursed book seemed to land quite literally on her doorstep, bookshop owner notwithstanding.

At least the conclusion seemed to be that she and the Owl Post shopkeeper were going to take on the responsibility for figuring things out. “Hmm? Oh, of course. Do you think there will be a trail if it came from another postal service?,” she continued, copying his earlier action of opening the book to a random page. No answers seemed to be visible there, although she’d suddenly felt the urge to rearrange the stacks in her shop. Also, she ought to clean the reading areas. And the counter. Possibly go over the entire shop with a fine-tooth comb, metaphorically. There had to be little areas that she’d missed with earlier cleanings.

On that matter, it occurred to her she couldn’t recall exactly when the last time she’d fully cleaned the shop at all. It definitely needed doing.

It's cover pulsating with its eerie but ethereal bleach white glow, one could almost hear how squeaky clean, like a damp cloth against glass, the tattered leather binding was as it passed from hand to hand.

Squeaky squeaky squeaky squeaky.

At this unremarkable time of day something remarkable happened. As soon as the Flourish and Blotts shopkeeper's eyes had washed over its pages, the book faded out of existence to reappear elsewhere in the Alley.

Shopping for books seemed like one of the most boring parts of his trip to Diagon Alley. The thought of buying a book, a school book at that, seemed way less exciting than that ice cream shop he'd heard some kid talking about. He wondered if he could get away with spending at least some of is supply money on ice cream. I mean...who needed a Charms book anyway, right?

Errr...okay.

This was Charlie's line of thinking until he turned the corner and saw a sign for The Monster Book of Monsters. Cool! Now this looked like the kind of book he'd like to read. Charlie read the little advertisement describing the book, his eyes widening in excitement as he learned what it would do. So...could he give it a try? Like, set it loose or something?

Charlie lowered his face closer to the book and began reaching his hand toward it.

WOW! WIZARD BOOKS! They had MOVING pictures and EVERYTHING EXCITING to them! Like some could be cursed, and some could suck you in, and some didn't even show you the words on them until you tapped them with the right spell!

Bernie's nose was literally in a book (MAYBE it was a CURSED ONE that you JUST COULDN'T PUT DOWN, right?!?) as she wandered around Flourish & Blotts, trying her best to dodge and weave people as she continued reading. There was just SO MUCH ABOUT HOGWARTS she had to catch up on!!! She was definitely not watching her step closely enough, because just as she swerved around one customer, she definitely bumped into another....

"Oops," she called out cheerfully, still not looking up as the boy was nudged closer to whatever he had been reaching for. "M'bad."

Charlie had no idea how it happened. He had no idea when it happened. As a matter of fact, he was confused right now that he had no idea what was happening at all.

All he knew was that a second ago, he was still a good foot away from the book. Then a second later, right about now, the whole book had come ALIVE and was trying to eat his hand off in one single bite.

"AHHHHHH!" he yelled out.

So much for trying to be cool around potential new friends. In his attempt to dash backward, he tripped over his own two feet and landed unceremoniously on his behind. "Your bad?" he asked the girl. Whoever she was. "That thing tried to eat me!" I mean, technically it was mostly his fault, since he was about to touch it anyway, but whatever.

He sighed and pulled himself up off the ground. "Nah, it's okay. I was going to touch it anyway. But not anymore," he said. If that thing was on his school supply list, he'd just look on with a partner or something.
