Reception/Sitting Area (Break Room) When you first enter the abandoned vet clinic, you'll notice a small reception desk and seating area. On the desk is a needlepoint sign saying Ring the Bell for Service. A small rusted bell still sits right next to it, long since forgotten about. Harmony has left it be on the off chance a muggle gets inside by mistake. The seating area will serve as a make-shift break room. Feeling stressed and in need of a coffee? Feel free to come out and take a seat on the slightly worn chairs while the muggle coffee machine brews your hot beverage. Harmony has placed hand-written instructions for those unfamiliar with the device. A muggle microwave is available for use as well though it has been unplugged for safety reasons. If you're interested, the Department Head would be happy to instruct you on how to use this too. |
Right, back to work time. There was loads to be done at the Muttropolitan Vet Clinic. William rubbed his hands and stepped into the clinic totaaaallllllllly undercover. He was digging these orders to dress casually and in your least expensive clothes. Not that he owned anything expensive anyway, but any reason to wear a ball cap was a good reason. "Hello?" he called out as he took off his sunglasses and hung them on the collar of his t-shirt. Was anybody here? Was this the reception desk? He tapped on the counter nearby and started wandering around the space. It kinda looked like a break room, with a mini-oven and what he knew was a coffee pot. Didn't know how to use it, but it looked cool. |
Jose stepped into this vet clinic...this is where he was supposed to be right? Looking around he spotted another man... Did he work for the ministry too? He was dressed like a muggle but he recieved a memo saying to take muggle transport to work and wear their clothing. "errrrr hello...." he said... He didnt really want to say anymore...what if this man was a muggle, Jose couldnt tell for he was a transfer from Brazil, so he knew no one. |

Though why a Muggle would want to bring their pet to an abandoned clinic was beyond him... unless they were trying to kill it of course... but this guy didn't even have a pet with him, did he? Willy pushed back his ball cap a little so he could better see the guy. "You uh, you new here?" He didn't recognize him, so he could be new. But he could also be a Muggle! Had to be cautious, see. If the guy knew where 'here' was, then he was cool. But if not... well, William could be a bouncer if he needed to be. |

Welcomeeee! Harmony had been here for quite some time already when she heard voices coming from the reception area. Jumping Jobberknolls, they were here! This was simply the most exciting news and she couldn't wait to see what her department thought of the place. She hoped they remembered to wear their casual clothes and smiles because there was lots to do. Lots. Wandering into the room with a strange muggle contraption in one hand and a smile on her dirt smudged face, the Department Head chirped, "Welcome, welcome! It's such a pleasure to have you all here!" She was radiating her sincerest positive vibes, did they know? "I hope you all found the place okay. We're still working out transportation issues but isn't muggle transportation just amazing. The way people pack onto the buses and work together to squeeze everyone in. It's brilliant." And she waved the rainbowed duster in her hand excitedly. "So, who's ready to work?" |

SPOILER!!: RoRo Jose listened as he confirmed that he was indeed in the right spot PHEW….. Jose was really relieved to actually have made it.. "I'm glad I'm in the right spot…" Jose stuck his hand out to introduce himself. "Jose Mora… Transfer from the Brazilian Ministry" He said with a big smile. what would his parents think of him now.. so far away from home… so far for him it was exciting and this man seemed really nice. SPOILER!!: TakemetotheBurrow Just right after he said those words a messy looking woman entered and said welcome… was this his boss… he knew this job could be messy and dirty at sometimes but he didn't expect it to be right away… "Hello Miss" he said while also giving her a big smile. Maybe she will explain the dirt…. and he hoped he didn't have to do any cleaning…it wasn't his favourite thing to do… not at all. "I am ready to do what ever you need" even though he didn't like cleaning if she was his boss he wanted to make a great impression. SPOILER!!: Rosa Jose didn't see the other man in the room with him, he must have been around a corner he couldn't see or maybe Jose wasn't paying attention.. he turned to him and said hello "Hi", then looking at the rest of the group to see what they will be doing. |

SPOILER!!: Gentlemen Attractive staff was attractive, did they know? Not that outward appearances meant much in Harmony's book. In order to find someone truly attractive, she needed to see that their aura was shiny and full of positive light, light which meshed well with hers. So far in her life journey, she had yet to meet a man who had both the looks and aura to satisfy her. It didn't mean she couldn't admire handsome faces occasionally. They were like art in that way, the men on her staff. She would appreciate them from time to time but otherwise, they just decorated the space with their presence. And how nice, one of her newest employees was already being welcomed by the veterans of the bunch. Approving looks from the Department Head were being given as she approached Jose and extended her hand. "Please call me Harmony. I'm so happy to have you here with us. I hope you found the place okay." Though she expected that some of her employees wouldn't be too keen on commuting so far each day. Things were in the works to make it easier on them, though. And turning her attention to the other men in the room, Harmony chirped, "William, Jack, lovely to be back, isn't it?" BEAM! And because she didn't notice William's reaction to the duster, she continued to casually wave it around, admiring the bright colors against the drab wallpaper. "I thought we'd start by sprucing the place up a bit. I've placed some assignments on the bulletin board and I'm hoping we can have this place feeling more comfortable within a day or two. Then we can worry about getting back into the swing of things." Nodnod. "I'm sure if we all work together, we'll be done in no time!" GRIN! And the red head flourished the duster as she turned on her heel and headed in the opposite direction. "Well get a move on, you three! No time to waste!" |
No time to waste, time to clean. Right-o, William would go check out that bulletin board then. But before he did... he was going to have to put that mutant tail out of its misery. "Harmony....." he trotted after his boss. "What is that thing on a stick you're waving around?" He clearly still wore a pained expression as he gestured at it. "I think... is that... please tell me that's not the tail of one of our mutants???!??" He'd hoped this building wasn't infected too. |
Jose smiled.. "very nice to meet you Harmony... And yes i found it alright, im used to muggle transportation... But still adjusting to London" he said while trying to keep his smile....cleaning..he looked down at his clothes... He should have worn something other than his jeans, sport jacket and dress shoes.... Thinking about it now he wished he wore his track suit. Alrighty.. Off to go clean... Jose lauged at William when he walked by him.... He seemed like a great guy but he was talking to Harmony now so he thought it was best for him to talk to her as went to go find the ward...gotta get started. |

William's stance alone let her know he was genuinely concerned about the apparent tail, though. The fact that he cared calmed the Department Head considerably and her expression eventually softened. "Well, I suppose I can't blame you. I'd never seen one like this before arriving here." And she held the duster in front of her, twirling it a bit. "And maybe it does look a bit like a tail." Only a bit, though. She cracked a thoughtful smile and proceeded to wiggle it in William's face, trying to lighten the mood. "Save your sorries, yeah? It's water under the bridge." And with a light pat on his arm, she waved him along. "Your cleaning education starts today, William. Best get a move on!" |

Ashley/Harmony <3 It was possible that there were too many things on her to-do list for the day, but in light of recent events, she was of the mind that this was a matter to be addressed sooner rather than later as it was time sensitive. Her lunch the previous day had left her questioning the behaviour of the individual in question, and seeing as she had to make her way around to Creatures sooner or later, now was as opportune a moment as any. Stepping into the Vet Clinic, Emily was mildly taken aback by its cleanliness and normalcy. Williamson was losing his marbles, here? What reason did he have to go flipping the table the way he had? ... She couldn't make sense of the mans erratic behaviours, but perhaps his boss could. Approaching the Reception desk, Emily let it be known she was there by ringing the bell on the desk. They used a bell? |
Oh, Emily was here! Genevieve gave the boss lady a cheerful grin and wave as she took up a position beside her at the desk. Funny... was she being checked on, or was Emily here for another reason altogether? Not that Genevieve cared either way, but it was always good to understand the motives of others. "Social call?" She hit the bell on the desk with the flat of her hand before turning to take in the rest of the reception area. "Coffee? It has to be better than... well... than not having coffee, I suppose." |
and a Vivi tooooo! <3 It was only when she saw Genevieve that sh remembered she'd stationed the YATI here, so considering the place wasn't falling apart and there was no muggle in sight, well, those were good things. "How're things going?" she asked conversationally, returning the grin, though not the wave. Waving was such an awkward gesture... The second ringing of the bell didn't faze her, rather, she still found it amusing the place had one. She would have questioned if it was necessary, but considering it got two rings in the space of a couple of minutes went without saying she shouldn't judge. As for it being a social call, when did she do those? "Nope," she replied with a shake of her head, she'd hardly had enough time to make social calls to the Minister's Office, let alone elsewhere. "Not for coffee either," she added at the YATI's persistence, though that wasn't a half bad idea. Guessing games, weren't they fun?! "Call it collegial... support..." yeah, support, that's what this was. |
Yo Ding!... Ding!... Harmony had been at her desk making preparations for the next staff meeting. Topic of interest, Erklings. The red head had read an article entitled "Erklings: Bloodthirsty Creatures of Natures Population control" and was quite horrified by the findings. She hoped that her team of creature enthusiasts could offer some of their own insights and that they could come up with a plan in the event of any Erkling sightings in their area. Couldn't hurt to be prepared. The one bell ring wouldn't have put a stop to this planning as her employees seemed amused by its presence and would occasionally ring it upon coming into work. The second ring in such a short time span, though? That had peaked her interest. And so the Department head dropped what she was doing, grabbed her unicorn mug, and headed towards the reception area. ... Well. Harmony's eyebrows arched slightly at the two women standing in the reception area. Pretty and powerful. Auras pulsating a dirty grey color. Well, that explained a lot. They were in the business of law enforcement, yes? "Hello," She greeted passively, wandering over to the coffee pot and refilling her mug with the steaming liquid. "Harmony Skylark. How can I help the two of you?" And would they care for some coffee? It was a fresh batch. Harmony herself couldn't wait and took a sip, letting out a soft sigh as it warmed her bones. "I've got to give them credit, they've really taken to making coffee." Her staff, that is. |
The look they received upon Harmony's entrance was exactly what she returned. Eyebrows. Perhaps it might have looked strange that two Law Enforcers happened to be present at the same time, but, surely that wasn't of so much significance to receive a look? Brushing it off as part of the Department Heads eccentric behaviour, Emily spared Genevieve a side glance before launching into her own business. "I was actually wondering if I might have a word with you, Ms. Skylark.. it's about one of your employees," she informed, keeping with formalities whilst in earshot of one of her own. Emily eyed the coffee that Harmony was helping herself to... and in that horrid unicorn mug no less... then again, this was Creatures. Of course, a part of her envied the woman. Her staff had the initiative to make good coffee, and have it be accessible to her. Genevieve would be smart to take note of this, or at least report it to one of the younger YATI. It would get them far, and not only with her - coffee was a valuable commodity on level two, and that was very much the case even in their hole in the ground. "Mmm, lucky for you." |
About one of her employees, huh? Harmony mentally scanned through the filing cabinet, trying to picture who could have possibly earned a spot on this woman's radar. Unless of course she'd been attracted by the lovely eye candy working in her department. As Harmony was an appreciator of all things beautiful, she'd certainly noticed the plethora of staff who'd hit the genetic jackpot. "Yes, of course. I have some time before my afternoon meditation." If they ran late, perhaps her fellow department head would join her for some laughter yoga. Lucky? Harmony wrapped her hands around her mug and smiled. "Must be all the bamboo I keep around the clinic. I've got some extra if you'd like to take a plant back with you." Completely serious, she was. "And we can head over to my office so that we can chat in private." As it seemed that's what the woman wanted. As for the younger woman, Harmony added as an afterthought. "You're welcome to take a seat and have some coffee while you wait. Unless you're here for another reason?" Harmony just assumed they'd come together, honestly. |
anyone <3 thank goodness that he had almost all of his cleaning done and the food was put away.. but now was time for a break, he already had enough coffee now was the time for some snacks, luckily for him he had packed a lunch and put it in the fridge when he first arrived. Walking over to it he opened it to see the little brown bag with "J.M" written on it, hopefully no one ate any of it. He pulled it out and went over to the chairs and sat down. Pulling his seat closer to the table so he wouldn't make a mess he opened his bag to grab his peanut butter and jelly.. feeling that it was still there he smiled while also taking out his chocolate milk.. it made him feel like a little child but this was a good healthy-ish snack.. Un-wrapping it he started to munch away, he wondered if anyone else would be taking a lunch break. |
