This moderately-sized room is where you will find employees of the Official Gobstones Club hard at work. It looks like a standard office of cubicles, filled with desks and chairs, with one defining feature. The Gobstones-themed posters of teams and star players adorn the walls at every turn. To the left of the room is designated for Gobstones Public Relations and the right of the room for Gobstones Administration, provided employees are not out on assignment. A shiny plaque outside the entrance to the offices informs you of your location.

Saxon walked into the section of her department when, upon taking a few steps into the office, she stopped. The place was a mess. Still. She should've expected it, being a mess since being locked out, but she would've thought someone would've come into the ministry and tidied everything up before employees started work once again.

She slowly walked around and saw the mess. It wasn't as terrible as before, but it was still pretty bad. Did they need to try and clean this all up again!? Seriously. Saxon had work to get to.

After taking care of some of the other areas of the level, Mariel continued walking through the department with a spray bottle in hand. She was sure the chizpurfles were everywhere.. but they weren't on her, were they? She couldn't help but to feel like there was something crawling on her and she shuddered at the thought. Certain she saw a movement out of the corner of her eye, she gave the corridor a few sprays with her spray bottle just in case.

The brunette had made her way into the Gobstones office. She knew from what Deliah had said that this area would be much in the same state as the rest of the department so she made it a point to get there soon with the bug spray. There were a few others in on the other areas but she wasn't sure anyone else knew about this one. Stepping inside, she noticed one of her employees looking none too pleased. "Saxon.." she offered the woman a small smile. "Come across anything.. interesting?" Mariel looked around.. just as she expected.

Stare stare stare. Couldn't this place be cleaned beforehand? Saxon guessed not, as she let out a long sigh. Seemed like there was never a break on the ministry these days. So, when she heard her name being called out Saxon turned around and saw Mariel, and gave a small grimace. Not at her. Just the ministry stuff in general. "Oh, yes, very interesting. Seems like we'll always have to be on alert in the ministry from now on. Suppose its time to clean this all up?" Her answer came in her question, but still.

So, the blonde got out her wand and carefully walked over to one of the desks, and pointed at it with her wand, then said, "Tergeo." And hoped that that would do the spell to slowly start cleaning up the mess.

She was more than certain that there would be more insects here too, even if some of the other areas had been sprayed down. Merlin knew how large of an infestation they had on their hands. And her green eyes couldn't help but to glance at the area before settling on Saxon's face again.

A slightly amused eyebrow was raised at the hint of sarcasm in the other woman's voice. Mariel could hardly blame her though, this continued state of disorder was beyond ridiculous at this point. "It certainly seems that way," she said with a rather unimpressed look for the conditions. "I'm pretty much over it and this needs to be the last of it. We have actual work to do." Not something that Saxon didn't already know of course, but Mariel was just done with a constant state of disarray that needed to be taken care of before they could do their jobs.

She nodded and glanced at the bottle in her hand. "Doesn't look like Maintenance will be by any time soon, so yes. It's up to us once again to get our department in order." There might have been just a hint of annoyance in her voice certainly not directed to the blonde woman personally, just at the situation in general. She was about to add more, then her eyes widened slightly as Saxon began magically cleaning up the area. "Careful," she said, holding out the bottle to her. "Seems there's a chizpurfle infestation and they'll be attracted to the magic your using." Especially since they most likely depleted the magic that had been in the entire building over the how many months they had been here. "This should kill them. You should spray down the area best you can. I'll go get more."

Saxon glanced around the office a bit more and nodded to Mariel's words. Yes, always on alert. Though, wasn't that always the case for the wizarding community? "Yes, I hope this is it. If this keeps going no work will ever be done at all cause we'll just keep having problem after problem." Helpful Saxon was helpful. She hoped, as bad as it sounded, everyone was feeling the same about this situation. Hopefully some sort of investigation was going into this to try and find answers. And, you know, if none of them were getting any work done, would they be paid even? That was kinda, no really important, for everyone. Seriously, this could start to personally affect them if something wasn't figured out.

The blonde's eyes followed her boss' and wondered why she was holding a spray bottle? Kind of weird and random, wasn't it? Must've been an explanation for it. "Of course it is. Cleaning up our own mess that wasn't even our fault." Saxon said, letting out a long sigh. From the days Lourdes was here, and the office going into chaos, to working at the airplane hangar and now back at the ministry all of the employees have basically been followed by messes and disorder. It was almost a norm for them now. And... okay, the spray bottle was being handed over to Saxon who took it in her hands and glanced it over for some time before looking back at Mariel. So there was a chizpurfle infiltration and magic could attract them. Hm. Good thing Mariel stopped Saxon before she could do more. "Oh, wow. We're even limited in our magic usage." Would it ever end? "Right, I'll get right to it." Saxon said giving her boss a small nod.

So the blonde went around the office spraying the bottle underneath each desk, and seats and any place that looked like a nice hideout for creatures. Mostly she sprayed around the area of the office's floor, to create a sort of barrier to stop the chizpurfles if they were outside and trying to get in.

Mariel pursed her lips together a bit as she glanced at the mess behind Saxon before looking at the blonde woman again. She just knew there were bugs all over the place even if they weren't making their presence immediately known in this particular area. She emitted a short, humorless laugh at her words. "No kidding. I certainly didn't sign up to work in Maintenance. We all have real work to do that always seems to get pushed to the side because of recurring disasters." This place was falling apart and it was starting to make her question her career choices as of late. She supposed it was a real test of her leadership and character.

And it seemed that Saxon had feelings on the subject that ran parallel to Mariel's. Her employees had to be tired of it as well and she did try to be understanding that much, if not all, of the building was in the same state so Maintenance and Creatures had a tougher time of things, but it was their jobs. They needed to get it done so she and her employees could do their jobs. Which wasn't cleaning or taking care of pests.

But at least Saxon was being compliant. The cooperation of her employees was essential to get this done quickly and she did hope they knew that though she didn't like this anymore than they did, they still needed to get this taken care of. "Just until we kill all the chizpurfles," Mariel said as Saxon mentioned magic use. And this spray was supposed to do just that, on contact. The brunette gave her a small, approving yet sympathetic, smile as she got to work. Saxon was a good employee, she just wished she and the rest of her department didn't have all this extra nonsense to clean up.

"Once you're finished spraying down the area, you can use magic to clean up," Mariel said as she lingered in the doorway a moment. Hopefully that would be the end of their inconvenience. "I'm going to check on the other areas. Once you're finished, please stop by my office at your earliest convenience." With that , Mariel left Saxon to finish her work and so she could take care of other things.

Saxon listened to Mariel's words and just nodded. She just needed to clean up the office a bit more then she would be off to see her boss, apparently. The blonde had no reason why, but she wasn't going to start anything. Not like she could because it seemed Mariel had other business to attend to as she left the office.

So the blonde went around the office some more, doing a second outlining of it with the spray Mariel had given her. Just to be extra cautious. Once it looked like the entire club had been cleaned up and sprayed all over, or at least the area, Saxon gave it one last look before heading out and making her way towards Mariel's office.

After having made her way out of the meeting office, Saxon wasted no time to getting into the gobstones office. It seemed like no one else had arrived here yet, which made sense, they had only just finished the meeting. She hoped everyone else working in gobstones had seen her and followed her suite. But until then she just got out the esstentials.

A notebook, a quill and her mind ready. She already had some ideas, but she was curious to see what everyone else would be thinking of. And, of course, she was willing to jot them all down and then give it to Mariel, for hopeful, approval.

Time to get started on this Quidditch event.

Having felt pretty good lately other than being anywhere near the occasional tomato, Mariel decided not to take her potion this morning. Perhaps she wouldn't need it anymore, which was what she was hoping, and, so far there had only been a vague hint of queasiness earlier that morning which seemed to be quelled once she ate a few crackers. Still not a good idea to have an empty stomach apparently. At any rate, she was in a fairly good mood as well and ready to put some plans into action.

Walking through the department with a folder ticked under her arm, she headed into the gobstones offices. She knew it had been quiet in there as of late and hoped that would change in coming months. But first she would need to speak with her employees, most specifically Saxon. The brunette headed straight for her division manager's desk, hoping she hadn't stopped at a bad time and that she was out on a coffee break or something along those lines. She didn't really have time to waste now that she was taking things to work from home a day a week.

Immediately the blonde stood up, feeling slightly awkward if she were sitting and Mariel were standing. If anything, she could grab the nearest chair, just so that they could both be more comfortable. "Mariel. Do you need anything to fill me on, today?" Saxon said with a small smile. She was probably here to tell Saxon something urgent, seeing as she decided to come find Saxon herself on no notice, rather than send the blonde to her manager's office.

"So, how are things going over here?" She had a few ideas she did want to talk specifically about as well.

Tilting her head a bit, Mariel listened attentively as Saxon spoke. Though admittedly she did usually find her focus in Quidditch, she did genuinely want to bring more of an awareness to Gobstones as it often seemed to get pushed to the side in favor of the more popular sport. But she felt it her duty as Games and Sports Head. And though she had some ideas about it, the brunette did want to know if Saxon had any thoughts on the matter and it appeared that she did.

She did really appreciate the dedication of her entire team to work so hard, even more so the ones who normally didn't deal with Quidditch.

But Saxon did have ideas, it would seem, and Mariel gave the woman her full attention as she did genuinely want to see the division succeed. Lessons for children of employees.. that wasn't a bad idea. And neither was a recreational game within the Ministry. "If you don't mind, I'm going to write a few things down," she mentioned as she turned back to her notes. Not that she thought she'd forget, but sometimes when she reflected on things, she had ideas to expand. "Do you mean a recreational league for the Ministry or are you thinking a one-time competition?" They could work things either way, but they'd be two different approaches. "And I think children lessons are a great idea.. that kind of goes along with some ideas that I was thinking. Do you remember the gobstones Adam had talked about earlier in the year at one of our meetings? The ones that patents was helping to develop?"

Saxon nodded at Mariel's words. Agreeing with her on wanting to, or hoping to see that gobstones can get more word out. Hopefully, if this all comes to being planned, it could happen. "Say this does get more voice past our ministry... Do you think, if we want to continue giving gobstones more publicity, we can try this with other ministries or start off smaller? Get the idea out to a small portion of the wizarding community." It was a good question right? They obviously didn't want to crash and burn with this. Especially if the first original plan gets a positive reaction.

She continued listening and even nodded at Mariel's thoughts . "That'd be good to look into, actually. If we can find any way to make gobstones more interesting and fun for the kids, they'd be more inclined to play it." Saxon started off. "Of course, if this happens we want to use products that wouldn't harm kids." Although fireworks, however that could happen, would be a dazzling show, it'd be too dangerous. "It'd have to be a safe product that replaces the liquid. Maybe something that's harmless and jumps out of the gobstones." The blonde had something in mind, but quite couldn't remember if Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes sold this product.

Heading back to the Gobstones offices was Deacon. He had some more things to take care regarding the upcoming plans. Rather than head straight to his area of the cubicles, he went towards one of his colleagues. Saxon, of course. She was the head of this division ~~and easy on the eyes~~.

Casually strolling along as if bored he stopped fully before rapping the knuckles of his fist onto the wall of her cubicle to get her attention. "Hey Saxon," Waiting until her attention was on him, "got some time?" They had quite a few things to go over after all.

Heading back to the Gobstones offices was Deacon. He had some more things to take care regarding the upcoming plans. Rather than head straight to his area of the cubicles, he went towards one of his colleagues. Saxon, of course. She was the head of this division ~~and easy on the eyes~~.

Casually strolling along as if bored he stopped fully before rapping the knuckles of his fist onto the wall of her cubicle to get her attention. "Hey Saxon," Waiting until her attention was on him, "got some time?" They had quite a few things to go over after all.

Saxon was at her desk, thinking up of some ideas to try and put into use for the gobstones task she had received off from Mariel's notice. And, she suddenly heard something that caught her off guard, but, when she saw who it was that interrupted her, she had no problem with Deacon at all.

"Hello Deacon. Yes, lots of time. Actually, I was trying to get a start on the gobstones tasks about the adult league and the children's lessons. If you're all free, which I assume you are since you are here, we can get to working on some brainstorming." She said smiling up at the man. The blonde moved her seat over to one side of the desk to allow Deacon to take his own seat so as they could work in the same area. "Have you anything in mind? Maybe we can see where we're both at and perhaps go from there and see what we can come up with."

No ideas would be thrown out. So, no need to be shy about anything.

"Cool," Deacon spoke casually, returning her smile with one of his oh-so handsome ones (in his mind). Sharing each other's ideas sounded quite nice with him.

Plopping himself down in the open seat, now they could get to work. "I've had a few ideas in mind actually." Casually leaning back in the chair, it was super comfy. He couldn't resist his legs lifting to rest on her desk (away from her papers and work, of course) while he went on. "First with the kids' lessons.. Since the Professional Gobstoners don't get much press or promotion yet, we could start with having some from the teams representing them by leading a lesson or two weekly. They could help the little kids get excited about playing Gobstones."

Now for the why, as he smiled cheekily. "I'm sure they'll be happy to do it. We have a whole new generation of little tykes that could become professionals later in life thanks to us." Come on, being credited to that was a nice ordeal. "So what do you think?" Maybe she had ideas on where they could have the lessons at.

Saxon watched as Deacon seemed to make himself right at home nearby her desk. Maybe too home-y. Yes, no, that wouldn't be allowed. At least he was polite enough to not have his shoes touch anything. "Glad you're relaxed, but I'm just gonna want your legs to be relaxed on the floor." Saxon said kindly as she carefully took his legs and plopped them back down to the floor. There, better. Smile. Anyway, it was time to pay some attention to his thoughts. She wrote this down in her pad, making sure that if they needed to look back at anything in the future she would have it handy. "I think thats a wonderful idea. The players can get themselves and their teams promotion and press, all while spreading their interest in the sport to the younger generation. Excellent thinking." Saxon said. It was a win win for both sides.

"About the lessons, I was thinking they could be held on our floor, perhaps during most ministry employee's working hours so its generally easy for them to keep a track of." That was her input on that. If Deacon had a different idea on it then Saxon was ready to hear it.

"Hopefully, if we can get this rolling, the children won't have to be teamed up with any grumpy players. Which, by the way, do you think we could find a way to pick the player to teach the lessons, or do we not have enough handle on that because we're only just ministry employees?" No kid would want to learn a sport if they got stuck with a mean person, it'd only deter them from it. There was a small forced smile at the mention of 'thanks to us'. It wouldn't just be them that would have gobstones popularity hopefully increase, but a teamwork rather. Nothing was said on that. "I think this is a good start. But of course, much to still discuss."

Deacon's arms were still folded behind his head while he relaxed and leaned back. His eyes caught Saxon's hands moving toward his legs before she took a hold of them. They were nice looking hands. Almost as soft and delicate-looking as Mae's. Hm, no feet on the desk. Shrugging after watching her move his legs off, "Fine by me." He smiled innocently as the outer heel of his right leg now rested on his left knee. Hah, she agreed with it. "Why thank you." It was nice being agreed on.

"I like the idea on it being around everyone's time schedule." Now as for where they could have it take place.. "Maybe instead of on our floor it could be at the Daycare area, where all the little guys and girls are at so there's less trouble getting them all to move up a floor. If we can get the Daycare's permission then all we have to do is just show up with the players for the lesssons."

Speaking of which.. "Oh yeah, that would bite. How about we can send a request to their managers about making sure the volunteers are actually good with kids." That would be sad otherwise. "I think so too." Was there anything else missing in regards to this?

Ok. That was slightly weird. Saxon just gave Deacon a weird smile when he took a hold of her hands. Nothing wrong with that, just unexpected. "You're welcome." It was a good thing that they were on the same track because it could make this process, which was already a lot to take in, much more difficult.

"Of course, keeping it there would be much easier for everyone. They'll be watched over in a familiar area, and we wouldn't, hopefully, lose them considering we can keep everything in the same place." That was the good thing about that. "Now all we have to do is contact the people at the daycare and try and get their approval." As soon as possible, of course. And they would be bringing along the players with them, and Saxon highly doubted they would get lost or go disappearing, so the deal with the children, was possibly thought up of.

It'd be terrible having a grumpy player try and teach the kids, only to not be 100% into the idea. There would be arguments breaking out between the children and players. No one needed that. "We'll send out a card as soon as we find possible players to be included into the lessons, then see where we go from there." Looked like the most important topics were figured out. "Ages, maybe four to twelve? What do you think?"
