Lucky McCharmless was 'ERE!

Sure, d'Kestrals weren't playin', but d'mighty Youth Oirish team was! Ter say dat 'e was ESSITED was an understatement. Swingin' 'is bags of gold and winkin' at 'is fans, d'master mascot bounced 'round d'Quidditch stadium. A shamrock was emblazoned on 'is shiny green back for d'occasion.

An' lookie! D'merchandise vendors! Lucky plopped down ungraciously on d'counter where all d'Orish souvenir was an' whistled a cheerful tune. d'bags of gold were placed right next ter 'im, o'course. AHEM.

Adam was here to ~help~. ROLL UP TO BUY MERCHANDISE OR TRY SOME COOL THINGS. There were probably some new patents around here ~somewhere~, too. He hadn't really had a chance to take stock of the stores yet: too much ENERGY was flowing through him right now. He wanted people to come and talk to him, and play some games and try some ~brooms~.

.... How much coffee had he drunk this morning? That was not something he wanted to guess at. Adam did, however, beam as the most annoying Irish mascot bounced over and placed himself next to the little bobble heads of himself. That was amusing.

Gallowglass had his hand firmly on Elsa's wrist as they walked through the Games and Sports Vendors area. She was grumpy to be handled like a child but the fact was, she was a child and her uncle - being the responsible adult - didn't want her mother to rip his head off if she got lost or hurt in the confusion.

"Do you really have to pull and push me??" she grunted as she side stepped another kid.

"Don't be annoying Elsy, just a few more steps and we're-- here!" he exclaimed with enthusiasm once they arrived in front of a broom exposition. That was his final destination, and lucky them, Lucky McCharmless the Irish Mascot was also there. Letting go of Elsa he watched her run up to it with excitement.

"Look at you there, happy out leaping about the place!" Elsa giggled as she joined the mascot in a little dance.

Gallowglass stayed back, inspecting the broom available for a moment before addressing the vendor "Excuse me sir, mind helping me?" he lowered his voice "I was looking to buy a broom for me niece there..." he pointed with his head towards Elsa that was now bouncing up and down, picking up random souvenirs and throwing them into a shopping cart "...something fast but safe? Sturdy yet light weight?" yeah, he wanted it all.

Henry had no shortage of sports equipment. His sister was a Quidditch player and his dad owned a Gobstones team, plus he really loved sports himself. So the thirteen year old had plenty of merchandise and practice equipment, but that didn't mean he didn't want more. He loved all things Quidditch and Gobstones, plus other sporty things as well.

Since they had gotten to the stadium early and there was still a bit of time before the game was due to start, and he headed straight for the souvenirs. His dad was around here somewhere and he would sit with him later once the match got underway, but for now he was on his own.

And look! There was a big leprechaun hanging out by the souvenir table, earning a big grin from Henry. He thought he might have recognized him as the Kestrels mascot, being the avid Quidditch fan he was, but he supposed he could be the mascot for the Irish team. He didn't really know but he didn't think it mattered too much either. It was just fun!

"Hi!" He waved at the leprechaun and looked at the guy who was obviously in charge. "Do you have anything, um.. new and exciting?" Okay, so he didn't really know what he was looking for, but there had to be something that he would want. He glanced over at the guy with the younger girl who was also in the area. Brooms were awesome too, but he already had a really good one... unless there was something different? Not that he had quite enough galleons for something like that.

After she was satisfied with the contents of her shopping bag, Elsa wandered about the place to see if she had missed something when she noticed a boy, around her age, luuurking around as well. "Hi!" she said to him as she aproached where he stood, waving "I'm Elsa!" she glanced over her shoulder to her uncle who seemed deep in conversation with the vendor "Looking for something special?"

Echo was able to shake all of his many siblings to come to this event, but he somehow wasn't able to shake his eleven year old cousin who had been visiting for the day, and for the life of him he couldn't figure out why. Maybe it was because it was nearly impossible to say no to that face, or because shaking him off his leg was too much effort.

Whatever the reason, they were both here and the first thing he wanted to do was get jerseys. He held onto the coin pouch in his hand and looked at the small person who had finally released him. "Where to first?"

Minnie loved quidditch. Of course most of the time she watched games played by adults, but she wasn't picky. She had been looking forward to this youth tournament. She had been especially looking forward to spending time with her brother. Even though she didn't know where Blake was at the moment, it wasn't important. She made her way toward the vendors on her own. She would pick herself out something in support of...one of the teams. She didn't know which one yet, but she would figure that out later.

It had taken a little longer than she had expected to get out of the petting zoo. It might have been because she had been tackled by puppies and thrown into a pile of crup poop…so yeah, she had had to run to her tent and shower and wash her clothes off so she was, well clean and that was great because she had meant to stop by and see Gallowglass.

Soooo he wasn’t at the healer’s tent…that much was for sure. So there she was wandering around not exactly paying attention when she saw him…or someone she really hoped was him as she confidently walked over and stopped next to him. “I always liked the Firebolt and Thunderbolt ones…but the Comet brooms are always safe” she grinned over to him. “So where is this niece of yours?” she asked a soft smile.

Gallowglass was still talking with the vendor when a sweet, sweet voice came from his left shoulder. He crooked his neck to face the most beautiful girl in the area a dumb infatuated grin spreading over his features as he couldn't help but replay their kiss in his mind. "Heeeey beautiful!" her expertise in brooms left him slightly gobsmacked, he didn't know much about them, nor where they his favorite method of transport, but Meredith just kept surprising him being so versed in so many things. "Uhh.. Maybe a Comet broom then?" he looked suggestively to the vendor for an opinion. "Elsa is.. somewhere over there?" he looked around but could only spot the top of her head as she was in conversation with someone. Probably a school friend.

Elsa's attention was caught by the arrival of a pretty lady near her uncle. Who is that? She looked over the boy she had been talking to shoulder with a confused expression. Why was her uncle smiling like some dimwitted fool?

His eyes even dropped down to Meredith's lips "Are you looking for a broom as well?" he asked curiously. She smelled good, fresh. No one could tell she had spent the last hours working with animals "How was the petting zoo? I still haven't gotten around to take Elsa there" he asked as he leaned his head towards her, giving her a lingering kiss on the cheek.

Where they kissing?! EW EW EW EW! Meredith couldn’t help but grin as she heard him call her beautiful. She wasn’t about to make a comment like that in public herself, but well of course she thought he was sexy…and now her cheeks were reddening at the thought. “Mmm those are great ones or so I’ve heard” she grinned over to him and leaned lightly into him. “Elsa? Is that your niece?” She asked as she grinned up at him.

When he asked if she was looking for a broom she just looked down at the ground blushing. Glancing back up at him she just shook her head, “no…actually…I was looking for you? I finally got on break and then wandered around a bit and saw you weren’t at the um healers tent?” aaaand she was done for. Really. If anyone had heard that they would have known just how much she had fallen for him….just as the thought crossed her mind he was there kissing her cheek causing her to blush a little more and grin even more wildly.

Meredith had shifted and was about to give Gallowglass a quick cheek kiss when she heard a voice…oh…there was a girl with eyes just like his standing there somewhat in the way. “Oh…you….you must be Elsa?” She smiled nervously and blushed somewhat as the girl asked who she was. “I…I’m Meredith, Meredith Stewart. I’m your…uncle? Uncle’s uh Hag Control Agent friend?” She nodded. Yep. Not going to say she was totally falling for him because obviously Gallowglass knew that right?

Henry turned as he heard a voice at his side. Oh, it was the girl he noticed had been there already when he got to the souvenir stand, and he gave her a smile. "Hi, I'm Henry," he said, returning the greeting. His eyes followed her line of vision to the man she was with, that he presumed to be her dad, before looking back at her.

"Oh, I don't know, not really... I was just looking to see what they had over here." And he did want to get something, he just wasn't sure what yet. Glancing at her bag, he asked, "What did you get?"

He looked over at the lady talking to the adult who had been with Elsa as the girl's attention was drawn to her. Oh.. awkward. He watched the interaction for just a second longer before turning back to the vendor. Now.. what could he find that was cool here?

He nodded as confirmation "Yes, that's the little pixie. I love her to pieces" he said with a smile. He did love his niece and daughter in law to bits, but she was becoming an over excited teenager and her recent obsession with clothes and nail polishing left his nerves a mess. He had to wait 40 minutes for her to get ready for a simple Quidditch match, but no, her nail polish had to be on point, three-leafed plants on all nails.

Meredith's lean into him didn't go unnoticed, it was rather welcome, he could feel the warmth radiate from her body and all he kept thinking was kissing her again. Specially when she admitted to be looking for him. He too had been thinking about her all day - but being stuck in the healers tent had it's downsides. Then out here it was another full-time job to keep an eye on Elsa. "Thank you for coming, I wanted to go find you as soon as I got out but Els-" and there she was. Over excited, nosey and always interrupting him.. Elsa. "Don't do that!" he stumbled with the weight she dumped on him. With a wave of his wand everything was paid, packed and stored and he puller Elsa by her elbow to his side before she managed to scare Meredith away.

"Meredith is a friend from the Ministry Elsy, where are your manners interrupting us like that?" he said sticking a finger in her ribs making her fold over and laugh.

Acting like her uncle hadn't spoken, Elsa gave Meredith her best innocent grin "It's nice to meet you Meredith" she then proceeded to slap her uncle's arm "How many lady friends you have?! We've been stopping and greeting ladies every 5 seconds since we got here!" she mocked, mimicking air kisses all around "Oh nice to see you, oh nice to see you too! Are you cheering for Ireland? Of course I am! Blablabla!" she stuck her tongue out for effect and turned to Meredith "I like your shirt, it looks really good on your skin! Where did you-"

Gallow let out a chuckle at Elsa's imitation of him meeting his co-workers. She had a point, he did work with a lot of women, but she was making it sound like he kissed them like he had just kissed Meredith. Which he didn't. Not even close, most of the times they just exchanged some pleasantries. And now she was back on the clothing topic, which mean she had taken a liking to Mer, which also meant she wouldn't leave her be until her mother came to pick her up. Diversion time. "Elsy, why don't you go ahead into the Petting Zoo tent? We'll be right behind you!" he suggested innocently, ruffling her hair. He sighed with relief when he saw her eyes turn the size of two saucers with excitement.

"THE PETTING ZOO?!" she squealed excitedly, clapping her hands together "YES!!!" she turned her attention to Meredith one last time and gave her a quick hug - over affectionate Portuguese kid - "It was really nice meeting you Meredith, you can resume your make out session" she added with a wink and sprinted off giggling. She stopped by the place she had left Henry, just a few moments ago. "I'm sorry about that Henry, just had to go mess with my uncle a bit" she giggled softly "You were asking me what I got. Just a little bit of everything I guess. I've got some keychains, three-leafed thingies.. but the leprechaun action figure is my favorite" she said with a smile as she retrieved it from her back pocket, the only thing her uncle didn't send away. She placed it in her hand and the tinny Lucky McCharmless came to life and started dancing and kicking. It was SO amusing. "Would you like to come with me to the Petting Zoo?" she asked, not a drop of shyness in her blood. She hoped he did, it would be nice to have someone to talk to.

The way Gallowglass spoke of Elsa just made Meredith grin. “You must really love her,” Meredith grinned as he was saying he had wanted to find her “Oh…it would have been hard to find me I had to run off for a bit and well get the crup pee off of me” she admitted quietly while making a bit of a face. The crups were adorable but she did not want to smell like one right now.

“Its nice to meet you too Elsa,” Meredith grinned abut the way she was describing Gallowglass meeting ladies every five seconds stung a bit…still, a part of her knew deep down that she was probably trying to gage her reaction the way that she did with her brother and his girlfriends in the past and well…how Blair would have done if she were there. “Thank you Elsa…” and Gallowglass was cutting her off and bringing up the petting zoo. “I’ll have to talk with you later when in the petting zoo!” Meredith grinned as she watched how excited Elsa was…and then it happened. Elsa was commenting about making out and there was no way Meredith wasn’t blushing now.

“Oh…has she now?” She asked and grinned up at him. “Where…oh right.” She blushed as he raised his eyebrow at her and leaned closer to him. Tilting her head toward him she quickly glanced around to see if she still saw Elsa before kissing him briefly. Still deep down a part of her was screaming where? No what are we!?

Hope had bought a broom. She had been practicing and wanted to show her cousin just how good she was getting. She had never been to a quidditch match before, but maybe if she got better she could participate in one one day. She doubted it, but one could hope right?

She walked over to the flags. Intending to buy one for herself and her cousin. But she didn't know which team they were rooting for.. she shrugged and bought 3. One for her. One for her cousin. And one for her cousin's boyfriend.

As she went to walk away she spotted a young girl like herself. She smiled and walked over to the girl. hey! I'm Hope! Which team are you rooting for?"

Hazen didn't want to be here, and was forcing a smile JUST so his cousin wouldn't drop him back home. It was a complicated matter. Despite growing up in a house full of people loving Quidditch, playing Quidditch, living Quidditch, Hazen just did not get it, and was still trying to get himself to like it. Because in his mind ... how could he be a Krum if he didn't like Quidditch?

Snapping out of his bazillion thoughts, Hazen looked up - squinting when the sun hit his eyes. "Maybe you can get me something, it was my birthday like yesterday, y'know" GRIN.

Gallowglass made a fake-disgust face at Meredith, crinkling his nose "Crup pee, eeeeew" he said in a perfect imitation of Elsa, but he couldn't keep it and cracked up in the end laughing. And there it was, his niece making the woman he was into blush by being a cheeky little bugger. He chuckled at Meredith's reaction "Yes she had, her mother would kill her if she caught her speaking like that". Yep, his sister would kill him after for being a bad influence "Sorry to rush her out, but she would mortify both of us if she stayed" he explained. It was best that she was talking and hanging with someone her own age.

Completely oblivious, like most man are, to Merediths thought about where they stood, what they were to each other, Gallow grinned into the brief kiss she gave him "Afraid she might see us again?" he teased. Guiding her by the arm so they could circle the area and see what was on display - all broom business forgotten - Gallowglass put his hand lightly on Meredith's lower back, guiding her.

"So, are you getting anything? Can I offer you something?" he asked curiously, as he eyed some miniature brooms. He wondered if she would be meeting her brother.

Meredith couldn’t help but grin at the way he crinkled his nose and imitated his niece and her possible reaction to well…anything even possibly gross? Or maybe that was just the reaction they would get when…if? She saw them kissing.

“Oh would she now?” Meredith chuckled, “honestly, I always remember the times I was mortified as being quite funny in hind sight” she admitted with a grin. “Well…depending on the whole how things happened bit of it sometimes its just far too awkward” she laughed and grinned as she felt him guiding her through the area.

When he was suggesting she might be afraid of his niece all she could do was laugh. “No, not at all” Meredith laughs “I do face scarier things than teenage girls at work all the time” she shrugged. “I’m sure if she saw that she’d probably tease you about it though” she smiled over to him and looked at the displays he was eying.

“Oh…I wasn’t planning on getting anything honestly…if you have any ideas on something to offer me by all means…be my guest” she smiled over to him a slight impish glint in her eyes.

Henry picked up a pack of trading cards and turned them over to read the back. He found it interesting that they had the pro Quidditch teams represented in cards here but not the teams that were actually playing. Though there probably weren't any for them since they weren't pro and didn't stay on the team all that long. Or something like that. The thirteen year old had plenty of trading cards, but this looked like a new pack so hopefully there'd be at least a couple he didn't already have.

He looked up again as Elsa came back. "Oh.. it's fine.." He glanced back at her uncle and the woman with him before looking back at the girl again. He wasn't sure what she meant by "messing with" and he didn't know her at all so didn't feel like he should ask. Henry was more focused on the souvenirs and equipment anyway.

Henry looked over Elsa's newly purchased stash, grinning a bit at the Lucky McCharmless as he came to life. "Those are cool.." He wasn't sure that was exactly what he wanted though. "Are you an Irish fan then?" He supposed if he had to pick, he would say Ireland too, but he didn't know either of the youth teams that well.

Henry lifted his eyes from the tiny mascot replica in her hand as she asked him about the petting zoo and he glanced over to where it was located. "Sure," he shrugged. "I bet that'll be fun." He wasn't sure exactly what creatures were over there, but he did like all sorts so he wouldn't mind going over there at all. "Let me just get a few things here first, okay?" That's why he had come over here after all.

Let's see... He'd get this pack of trading cards and what else? Could he maybe get a practice bludger and beater's bat?

Lucky doffed 'is 'at at the employee guy an' patted d'little 'eads next to 'im dat looked awfully like d'leprechaun. Hehe, funny.

Speakin' of adults, there were lots of those 'round 'ere; all kissy kissy, lovey dovey. EW. He jumped down from d'counter an' stepped in between d'couple. "I 'ope ya 'ave a LOVELY time 'ere, sweeties." Blowin' them kisses, 'e wiggled 'is way 'round d'crowd again.

Sprogs were always excited ter see 'im. Lucky waved at d'gal an' did a little Oirish dance. "Cheerin' for Oirland, are ya?" 'e said with a gigglelaugh, spottin' an action figure dat looked like 'im. As for 'er friend 'ere who could not decide what ter get ... 'e stuffed a fancy emerald green Oirish hat onto d'boy's 'ead. "Support d'OIRISH team!" Master mascot 'ere.

'E pulled out big fat gold coins out of 'is bag and gave 'em out ter e'ryone. Dey could thank 'im later. After d'leprechaun gold disappeared.

Yes, Elsa would be giving him hell later. He was sure about it. After all she was her mother's daughter and Aoife took great pleasure on watching him squirm. "Yes, I believe she will, but I don't mind. It's all in the name of a good cause. You." he winked at her. He wished they had Quidditch themed Jewelry there. But they didn't. Only games and sports. But he could still get her a miniature leprechaun. Girls seemed to enjoy little animated versions of the mascots. An idea popped into his head "I have a better idea, would you still like to go out after this? I could buy you dinner instead." he looked at her, waiting for her response.

Elsa grinned at the little Lucky McCharmless in her hand. So cute! "Yes, in fact my family comes from Ireland. I guess you could say it runs in my veins? Plus my mother would kill me if I cheered for any other team really..." she considered it for a moment, recollecting a moment back at Portugal when they watched a mock Quidditch match of Portugal vs Ireland and she, only 7 at the time, sitting at her daddy's shoulders screamed for his team (Portugal). Her mother took her popcorn away for that. Evil mother she though amused. "Where are you from? Do you attend Hogwarts? I don't think I've seen you before and you look about my age?" she asked curiously.

"Great!" she said excitedly after Henry agreed to go with her to the petting zoo. Yeeeey! "Take your time! What sort of things were you looking to get? Some trading cards and what else?"

What on Merlin's name.. McCharmless jumped between him and Meredith, blowing kissed before disappearing once more. Fallow laughed heartedly and looked to see if Meredith looked as baffled by what just happened as he did.

At that exact moment Lucky McCharmless came to life again jumping and dancing, which made Elsa giggle trying to follow he's moves "Of course I am!" she said in a high pinch squeal that quickly turned into a fit of giggles as he stuffed a fancy emerald green Oirish into Henry's head followed to fat gold coins "Oh my, Henry I think Lucy McCharmless just picked for you!" she said between laughs "Looks good too!" she added with an approving and amused nod.

Meredith couldn’t help but grin at Gallowglass as he spoke. She was about to tell him that really she was enjoying just speaking with him when he mentioned asking her to dinner after the event. “Would this be a date then?” she asked somewhat nervously because really she wasn’t sure what she would do if it weren’t one…or more if it was. There was the off chance she would smell like a horse after the event.

She was about to tell him that of course dinner would be lovely when McCharmless happened. “Oh…” she chuckled when he stepped between them. “I wasn’t expecting that” she laughed and glanced back over at McCharmless to see him interacting with none other than Elsa.

Oh…right…Elsa, the site of her just made Meredith remember the very real date that she might go on later…who was she kidding of course she would go! “Oh and dinner sounds lovely, “ she grinned at him.

Oh, so Elsa's family was from Ireland, so yes, it would make sense that she was supporting the Irish team. "I think I'm probably going to cheer on Ireland too," he decided. They were more local than Norway, in fact he would figure that most people here would be supporting Ireland too. Plus that leprechaun mascot would probably get mad if he were to say something different out loud.

Henry could safely say that he didn't remember seeing Elsa around either, but he would assume that was because she most likely was not a badger. He knew most of his housemates at least by sight. "Yep," he nodded his confirmation. "I'm in Hufflepuff, going into my third year. What about you, do you go to Hogwarts?" For all he knew she could have been homeschooled or gone to another school that maybe Ireland had, but she specifically asked about Hogwarts so he thought she might have gone there too.

He looked down at the trading cards he just picked up, thinking about what else to get when Lucky placed the hat on his head. He looked up in surprise and grinned. "How do I look?" Those big Irish hats were fun and he thought he'd probably get that too. At least he didn't take it off, and he decided to wear it around for the game now. And coool... gold coins, though he knew they were probably leprechaun gold. They were a fun souvenir for now though.

Clutching the leprechaun gold in one hand and holding a pack of trading cards in the other, Henry stepped closer to the counter. "I think one of those practice bludgers too." He knew he wasn't old enough to have a real one and he wasn't sure if his dad would agree to one or not. And he'd rather get a real bat at the Quidditch shop to practice with it later. Plus he'd get the hat on his head and he'd be ready to go to the petting zoo.
