Those working in the Beast Division will find their work spaces here, clustered together based on their specialty. Each work area is color coded by sub-division, making it easier to find your way around. There is also a small seating area for those guests seeking services from our providers, equipped with magazines addressing the latest issues relating to creatures.

The workspaces are open and organized in such a way that information can travel within sub-divisions, and between them, efficiently and in a timely manner. Comfortable chairs, large workspaces, and good lighting allow for a work environment that inspires creativity and productivity. The various paintings of beasts from all around the world that Harmony has collected over the years add the Skylark touch to the place, letting you know just who is in charge. |

Ember liked Harmony's syle, and it seemed that she had really redone the place since she had last been here. WOW. IT was...so cool. SO SO COOL and CUTE and had great vibes and EVERYTHING! Ember could really WORK in here! Hehehehe.
She loved it.
And coming back to work had been the best decision in the entire world, she knew it.
Sitting at her desk, she began to look at...all the paperwork she had to do O___O. WOWZA. Well, she best get to work.
BUT FIRST. She sipped some of her coffee. Coffee made her so hyper but she'd been up late last night looking at some wedding stuff...and...UGH. Now she was tired, yawn-y, and needed COFFEEEEEEE.

Mordred pulled out his old university notes in Advanced Potions to get started with his research, when the same woman started...crying. The dragonologist closed his eyes in irritation, and sucked his teeth in the process. If it were his twins, there was no way he’d be annoyed. Noah and Catherine’s cries were music to his ears, but not this woman. She’s a grown human being for Merlin’s sake.
Looking over his cubicle, Mordred saw a very funny sight. What? She’s already crying over work? This early in the year? His co-worker ought to see Harmony asap if it was the case. She’d fix her in no time, what with her breathing exercises and yoga.
Mordred sat back and weighed his options as he continued to watch her cry. Should he help, or walk out on her?
It didn’t take long for the dragonologist to stand up and walk over to where she is. His wife, Sophie, did change him really. If it wasn’t for her, Mordred would’ve stepped out of the office and leave the woman miserable without an ounce of care. Without a word, the dragonologist summoned a glass, filled it with water and offered it to his co-worker. “What’s wrong?” Because he can tell something is not right. “Water?” Because he’s a good guy, see?

Oh GOSH she had just so much to DO--how was she even working at this point?! GAH.
But she took a few deep breaths...and really tried to calm herself down. She was being ridiculous! She loved working--and she had plenty of time to plan her wedding, especially with Mitya to help her!
The glass of water appeared, and Ember sniffled and looked up at the man. He looked younger than she was, which was okay, but she felt incredibly silly now. "Oh--oh--t-thank you," she stuttered and shut her eyes to take a sip. Ahh. Okay. She needed to get it TOGETHER.
"I'm feeling...a little overwhelmed is all...not from work just...from some...stuff I have to do in my personal life," she sighed and rubbed her head. "I'm sorry--I normally don't cry so easily--I don't know what's wrong with me..."

But then again, not all employees are like Mordred who keeps his emotions masked from the prying eyes of everyone else.
The dragonologist watched as Ember, took a sip of water from the glass he offered, and wondered how much of chaos her brain is right now. For her to cry in public? Must be hell. Mordred leaned on her desk, and crossed his arms, examining her further. He noticed the ring on her finger, and assumed the worst. But then, he saw the wedding magazines on top of her paperwork, and was convinced that it has something to do with her, slowly becoming a Bridezilla.
Thank Merlin that Sophie had Ella to help her out, as well as his grandmother.
Shifting his gaze from the magazines, Mordred looked at the woman, and adjusted his wedding ring on his right ring finger. “Do you want to talk about it?” he asked, glancing from her then to his ring. “Wedding preparations, I assume?” Oh yes. The morning of his wedding day was quite…an eventful one, in terms of Mordaunt standards.

Ember quietly sipped her water with a few sniffles sniffles and eventually grabbed a tissue from her desk to dab at her nose and then her eyes. Couldn't ruin that eyeliner, you know?
She chuckled a little, thickly, through her tears. "I--yeah. Wedding stuff, you're right." She sighed at her silliness. "Merlin...I never thought I'd take it seriously..." the wedding stuff. "But I'm sorry--I won't bother you--" she said and she pushed the magazine under her paperwork. She could focus on that later.
"I appreciate your kindness, though. I'm...I know we met briefly at the meeting but...I forgot your name. I'm Ember--" she held out her hand for him to shake and smiled. "You're...?"
GET IT TOGETHER EMBER.

Mordred raised a brow. What was she talking about now? He'd been bothered already, that's why he's there, being all friendly-- which was, by the way, so new to him and such. "It's too early still to work anyway, so, how about we talk about your wedding?" Okay, he didn't mean to sound nosy...or mean, but he's trying to be like family to her, hmmkay? Harmony did mention to them about being there for each other, working as one unit and such...anyway!
"Not to pressure you or anything, but...weddings should be taken seriously." At least with his family. It is a union of not just two individuals, but two families as well. In his case, a union with a bunch of half-bloods. Of course, it wasn't a big deal to Mordred...but it was to his family. Ember's dilemma is pretty much miniscule to what he had to go through to marry Sophie.
"Where are you now in terms of preparation? I can refer people to you, specializing in weddings if that's what you need." He'd ask the wife to help him find those old documents of course, "And...if you need a woman's advise, I'm sure my wife Sophie would love to help you out." She's all about helping anyway.
And the most awkward thing happened. Introductions. Well, more of re-introduction. "Mordred Mordaunt." he said, accepting her hand for a handshake, "And I work over there." he said pointing to a cubicle with dragon models walking the edge of his divider. Pretty neat, huh?
