 A maze of thousands upon thousands of books, the library is heaven to any book-lover. Upon entering the high-ceilinged room, the smell of books, both ancient and new, hits you. There are many tall, narrow shelves neatly lined up, each divided into different sections -- charms, potions, Muggles, fiction, and so on. If you find a book you're interested in, simply make use of the sliding ladder or summon the book with Accio to retrieve it.
But the library just isn't a labyrinth of books. In the heart of the library and on the outskirts of it are tables and seating areas designated for quiet research and reading, some with accompanying fireplaces or large stained glass windows. Tucked away in the very back of the library is the Restricted Section, which requires permission to enter because of the more mature titles that are tightly locked and chained within (students sixth year and older may browse this section without being accompanied after asking for the key). At the entrance stands the front desk where the school librarian can usually be found, who will happily recommend a book, check out a book for you, and help you with any of your library needs.

After getting lost a couple of times, finally she found where the library was located. Thanks to a student who had shown her the way or maybe Diandra could end up in a spooky unknown corridor and there's a possibility she couldn't go back to Hufflepuff common room #dramatic. Merlin, this castle totally needed a map or something.
So this library was good, comparing to Mahoutokoro. There were not many people here yet or perhaps because it's still too early to be here. But for her, any time was good to be in library. She loved the ambience and the quietness of this place, what a perfect spot to work on her bullet journal. Taking a seat nearby the stained glass window, the badger took her journal out along with some of her colored pens and cute stickers. Accidentally Diandra dropped one of her pen but somehow she couldn't get up from her chair because... It seemed like someone cast a permanent sticking charm on it? Uh oh, help?

Leave it to Juniper to already be in the library this early in the morning this early into term. The Ravenclaw prefered to be in library at this time of day. It was quiet, even though you know libraries were supposed to be a quiet place in the first place. Well this time of day it wasn’t as crowded and she liked that. A lot.
Her nose was stuck in a book, as she walked through the library. She pretty much knew the mapping of the library like the back of her hand. Probably even better than she knew the rest of Hogwarts. She was busy reading about and learning Japanese phases. She was clearly in her own little world. She didn’t even know that she was about to step on a pen that was in the floor.

After a successful OWL year, Skylar would have thought she'd be done with her excessive studying, but it seems adding alchemy and wandlore to her course load, despite dropping a few classes the sixth year deemed 'unnecessary' towards a possible creature healing OR cursebreaking career, and she was already making herself cozy in the library again. Honestly, she ought to just move her dorm bed up here, as often as she found herself here.
Look, there was even some cookies there on the end table for her to snack on, which how could one refuse when already deep into her books and her stomach was grumbling? Forget the refusal to eat food unless she knew where it came from, because the Slytherin Captain was starving and those cookies looked delicious. Just one ... wouldn't hurt, right?

Clearly, Daisy was funny in not disturbing her, yet speaking to her. At least that's what Skylar would chalk it up to.
Slamming her book shut, she bent over, just laughing, as if she'd been hit with a cheering charm.

"Sorry to interrupt but uh... could you please... get my pen there? I'm kind of... in the middle of situation." By the situation, obviously Diandra meant that she got stuck on the chair and couldn't get up from that. This was so embarrassing.

Yes, hullo, Julie Bellaire had little to no time for talking. It should have been obvious just how deep into her study session Julie was, but then again the table covered with mountains of books, unraveled parchment, and a broken quill (or two) had failed to deter not one, but two flustered third year boys who had wasted far too much of the patient Slytherin's time with a survey about what she 'looked for in a man'.
did it look like she was looking for a man? As polite as the Black girl was even she had found the question kind of demoralizing, especially given the environment. She was nowhere near thinking of the opposite sex right now (not that there was anything wrong with that, of course, it wasn't like she minded thinking of... say, Jahan King, for instance), no, the only thing currently on Julie's mind was how very much she did not want to fail her potions OWL and just how much it felt like she would.
Now, for a career in magical law Julie wouldn't need an O in potions or, to be honest, in any of her current studies. Did that mean she could slack off? relax and work at her own post? of course not, and how dare yu even suggest such a dumb notion. She was Julie BELLAIRE and Bellaires didn't fail.
except Blaise, but that was a totally different thing. Her shoulders were beginning to ache, and her neck, and now that she thought about her throat was drier than the desert Slytherin's Gopher Snake was meant to be inhabiting (really what had Professor Vance been thinking? there was nowhere near enough heat to keep the poor thing healthy). maybe she'd take a break. A tiny break for a quick spot of tea...
no, no, no. there was no time for a break, she'd already lost too much thanks to the third years- but her throat....
Fine, a tiny break.
Discreetly, when she was sure Kennedy wasn't peeking in, Julie pulled out what looked like a perfectly ordinary Eagle Owl Quill and tapped it thrice with her wand to unscrew the pointy tip and reveal a wealth of beautifully steaming green tea. Magic, was a wonderful thing and magical canteens doubly so. She took a long draught, sighing happily as the warmth and lemony green goodness washed over her dry mouth and throat. There was enough in the quill-teen to fill 34 cups of tea, which, honestly, julie doubted even that would be enough to sustain her through this particularly grueling session.

Juni was once again in her own little world, nose suck in a book. She was just close to stepping right on the pen when she snapped out of it and jumped back to keep from stepping on it. She turned to the voice that had snapped her back into reality. ”Oh you’re pen? It’s right… can you not... “ Oh okay nevermind she got it. Bending down she picked up the pen and handed it back to the girl.
”What kind of situation are you in exactly?” Was her arms broke? No. Was her legs broke? No. So what other kind of situation could possibly be the issue.

"Healer Reed." Yea, she didn't know this Healer Macmillan, but no THANK YOU. Reed had been her healer and professor crush since she'd been there, practically. She trusted him. Also, she didn't trust a third year silencing her. NO THANK YOU. She was gonna have to be more convincing than THAT!
Also, this was totally why the sixth year never trusted foods lying around, so why now?

Also, this was totally why the sixth year never trusted foods lying around, so why now? Daisy now had a look of deep concern on her face. It seemed that Skylar's mind had been affected. Healer Reed was no longer at Hogwarts. Daisy had to step up so she grabbed Skylar by the shoulders and looked into her eyes. "Listen carefully. Healer Reed is NOT at Hogwarts anymore. There is a new Healer. Actually, she's a Nurse from St Mungo's. Headmistress Hawthorne mentioned her at the opening feast. Now, we need to go to the hospital wing and sort you out."
Daisy knew her words were harsh but Skylar needed to be snapped back to reality for a moment. If it was one of her fellow Badgers that was responsible for the cookies, Daisy would be having a little chat with them.

That was a horrifying thought. Thankfully fifth year was sooooo far away so she didn't have to deal with any OWLs, and that meant that she could forget about it. For now at least. I think my chair has sticking charm or something else on it.." To be fair, she didn't know what caused her getting stuck on the chair and she thought it was a charm because well... It's a wizardry school after all.
