Balcony https://i.postimg.cc/RF4vTVYm/balcony-banner2.jpg The balcony located on the fourth floor is one of the few balconies in the castle. In an opening along the corridor, on the opposite side of the castle from the library, is where you can find this particular balcony. If you ever need a break from doing that lengthy Arithmancy homework or need a place to relax with a friend, this balcony is a great place to get a few minutes of fresh air before getting back to work again. |
Mini Adi for Mini Lux <3 Each passing day meant that NEWTs drew closer. It also meant that his anxiety over Transfiguration NEWT came to the surface more frequently. Sure, Jan was a great teacher and a capable study buddy, Ary shouldn’t have to worry, right? Wrong. Carton had been a brilliant professor but Ary still had managed to fail spectacularly. It was this anxiety that brought him to the balcony this fine Saturday November morning. The Slytherin sat on the floor, his legs folded before them and paperclips of every colour scattered all around him. One may compare him to a toddler surrounded by the many toys their parents bought them. Presently, Ary wasn’t sure what he wanted to craft with the paperclips. Maybe he could try transfiguring them? No, that wasn’t a good idea right now, not when he was anxious. Chances are, the feelings would skyrocket. So, he settled for plain old manual bending and shaping. |
Wifey and Ary <3 After spending quite some time in the library gathering books that she would need to help her with her OWL studying, Aurora was in need of a break and some fresh air. The perfect place to do that was the balcony. Maybe she’d even have a snack since it had been some time since she had last eaten. It was a pleasant surprise to see that she wasn’t the only one who had decided to spend time there. Ary was already there… bending and shaping paperclips. Aurora raised her brow before taking a seat beside him. ”Is this part of your NEWT studying?” Because otherwise she had no idea why he would be doing that. |
SPOILER!!: Bits and The Stalker! <3 Ary heard the approaching footsteps but didn’t bother looking up for two reasons: one, he didn’t care for being disturbed and two, he was way in the zone with creating some newts. Currently, he was working on a blue one. But… why was this person not leaving him alone? They actually sat beside him. The Slytherin side eyed them just before the question came. Oh! It was Rors! His anxiety eased just a tad and he pulled on a cheeky expression. “Yes, didn’t you hear? There’s a new subject called Paperclippernick so I’m studying for that. I’m bound to get an O!” Ary took a moment to shape the newt’s tail. “I should have expected you here, Rors. You’re always stalking me.” |
Wifey and Big Head Ary <3 Did... Ary just side eye her? Aurora blinked and wondered if she had done something wrong. Did she mess up by interrupting him when he was trying to get something done??? She had already messed up with Nyle and the plants thing. Had she messed up again??? She was about to apologize for interrupting him when he responded with teasing the way that he usually did. Aurora relaxed and adopted a serious expression. "And WHY didn't you tell me about this class? Is it because you know I would do better at it than you?" She smiled then. "Seriously though. What class is this for? Charms or Transfiguration?" she asked as she glanced at the little paperclip newts. She laughed at the stalking comment. "You wish. You have a big head like how my mom says your dad does." She gave him a playful poke in the side. "Do you want me to help so it goes faster? I needed to take a break from studying." She sighed. |
SPOILER!!: Bits and The Stalker! <3 Rory doing something wrong? As if! Now that they had their playful banter on, there was no way Ary wouldn’t continue this line of conversation. He almost grinned to see her serious expression. Almost. He in turn mirrored it, throwing in an arched eyebrow. “Why would I be that insecure about myself? It’s very obvious that I’ll excel at that class more than you.” The Slytherin wondered, not for the last time, if he and Rors were recreating another banter session like Dad Adi and Aunty Lux had when they were at Hogwarts. Or presently, since they still happened. “It’s for my collection,’’ he answered, wondering if Rors had suddenly forgotten his love for paperclip creations. And why was this newt’s tail being so stubborn? “And you’re just as silly as Aunty Lux,’’ Ary remarked, fondness very prominent in his voice. “Thanks, I got it. But you can make something of your own if you want.” He nodded at the bunch of unused paperclips. “Use any colour of size you want! So, what were you studying?” |
Wifey and the boy with a big head <3 It was hard not to grin when they slipped into their banter. Aurora did enjoy these moments with her annoying older brother as she liked to call him. "You wish that you were better at stuff than me." She poked him again. "it's okay, you can admit it to me. I won't tell anyone." The teasing was a nice break from all the work she had been doing. "Oh, right. Of course. I didn't realize you were still doing that." Aurora laughed. "And you're sillier than Uncle Adi, which means you are the silliest one of us all." Because his dad was VERY silly. Oooh she could make something of her own. How nice. She grabbed a yellow paper clip and started trying her best to make a flower. She wasn't sure how well that was going to go. "I've been studying for Care of Magical Creatures today. Just got a bunch of books out from the library to help me further." She bit her lip as she concentrated on her work. "How's all the studying going for you?" |
SPOILER!!: Bits and The Mean One! <3 That couldn’t be any more true! The friendly banter was probably one of the best aspects of this friendship. Was that how Dad Adi and Aunty Lux felt about theirs too? Probably, otherwise neither of them would continue having banters of their own. “You are so delulu, Aurora Bay.” The Slytherin reached out to prod her on the nose in reply to that latest poke. “That means I haven’t got anything to admit to.” Ary shrugged. “Not as much lately because of NEWT studies. I’ve been paying particular and more attention to Transfiguration because I can’t afford to fail it again. Or fail any other subject for that matter.” His family hadn’t been hard on him for that one flunking but he’d like to improve for his own sake. “Is that so?” Ary grinned. “I wonder how dad would feel if he knew you gave away his title. You might as well confess to him when you see him next.” He finally was satisfied with the newt’s tail so Aryan turned his attention to Rory. “Is that a…” He tilted his head and squinted. “A banana?” In his eyes, it was sort of shapeless. “Ooh, the best subject there is! You should have no problems with hippogriffs and dragons. And mooncalves since Artax and I can teach you all you need to know.” The little newt was placed on the ground. “Not bad. Sometimes it gets overwhelming though. I wish I could be back home so I can easily take a dragon for a spin.” |
Wifey and Mr Big Head <3 Oh, so she was delulu now? Aurora huffed in fake annoyance as he poked her nose. ”You’re one to talk, Aryan Zahid Atreyu-Rehman,” she sassed back in amusement. ”You would have to be in order to think that I stalked you.” Her mom liked to say that Uncle Adi had the biggest head out of everyone, but she knew it was actually Ary. Though as much as she put on that he was annoying, really she was very fond of him. ”You have everything to admit to.” She poked his cheek. Nod. That made sense. Studying really cut into time. Aurora still managed to fit in time with her friends, the plants, and her different extracurriculars, but she was only studying for her OWLs. It would be a lot worse when Seventh Year came for her. ”Well, we could always study together if you want.” It was never a bad idea to have more study buddies. At least in her opinion. The next remark had Aurora tempted to laugh, but she kept her composure. ”You really expect me to do that? With how much he prides himself in his silliness? I could never do that to him.” A banana? ”You making fun of my flower, Ary?” Aurora pouted. She had worked hard on her little paper clip flower. Signing, she set about trying to make it look better. Care of Magical Creatures really was one of the best classes. But her favourite was obviously Herbology. ”Those are definitely the creatures I feel the most confident in,” she agreed. She had spent too much time at the reserve not to know all about them. ”And I’d appreciate all the help from you and Artax.” She did miss that mooncalf. She would have to give him a lot of love the next time she saw him. Feeling like she was finally done with her flower, she placed it by his newt and grabbed another paper clip. ”I get that. The reserve is such a special place.” One of her favourite places to go. ”If I had a dragon, I’d name it Toothless.” She nodded. Ary knew she loved that dragon. |
SPOILER!!: Bits and The Rors of Hufflepuff! <3 Yes, Rors was absolutely delulu, and he would not take his words back! She looked so silly when she was huffing, did she know? And sort of scary… like an angry dragon. Maybe she spent too much time on the Reserve and subconsciously was adopting their personalities. “Whatever you want to say, I will continue maintaining that you’re my stalker.” Perhaps Ary had inherited his dad’s big head and had added to it, but he would forever be proud. Laughter erupted from his throat as his cheek was poked. Honestly, how silly were the two of them? “Your claws need trimming, by the way.” Rors’ fingernails weren’t a danger, of course. But wasn’t she always such a good friend to him? The Slytherin wasn’t about to pass up on her offer even though he was already taken for many a study session with a few other friends. “Which do you need help with? It really can’t be CoMC since you hang out around my dads and Aunty Hady often, right?” But if this wasn’t the case, there would be no judgement from him. “Mhmm, I thought as much. I’m glad you care so much about him to not want to hurt his feelings, Rors.” Ary shook his head. “I really am not. Here, let me help you. Let’s start with a new paperclip.” He picked up a hot pink clip. He unfurled it so that it was entirely straight. “Pick a colour and do the same.” He nodded, very pleased that Rory would at least have excellent marks with any question pertaining to those creatures. Which brought him back to his previous one about her needing help with CoMC; he’d gladly assist with whatever creature. He tilted his head thoughtfully. “It sounds to me like you’re missing Artax.” Ary was already plotting to have a Mirror call with Dad Adi so that the man could show them the Mooncalf. Yes, Ary would arrange this just for Rory. Pleased with himself and his brilliant idea, he turned his attention back to the conversation. “I mean… that makes sense, you know. Have you seen how silly Toothless can be? As much as you are.” |
