The magical petting zoo located just outside London consists of a series of small enclosures separating the various animals. In one area a sign above two golden unicorn colts reads 'Females Only.' Across the way, what seems to be branches laying in the enclosure are actually, upon closer inspection, four Bowtruckles sunning themselves. Watch your eyes!

Two mooncalves roam one of the largest enclosure, but the most visited section consists only of a large barrel filled with pygmy puffs of all colors, purring contentedly when petted.

A visit to the magical creature petting zoo can be the highlight of a witch or wizard's day, but contact with any creature, no matter how low the ministry rates them, should come with precautions. The rules are posted on a wall and they keep flashing so everyone can see them.

1. Cleanliness - Be sure to have your hands scurgified before and after you touch the creatures.
2. Food - Only feed the creatures the food provided by the zoo. No outside food allowed.
3. Kindness - Always be gentle when petting the creatures. No yelling, running, jumping or chasing the animals. You may scare the creatures and cause an accident.
4. Accidents - Bites, nips and/or scratches should be reported to employees immediately (even if they were caused by fencing or equipment.)

Timwalked up to the Zoo Sign and stopped.He decided wait outside for his date before going in.He sat down on the Park Bench Smiling nervously.He hadn't been on a date for a while,so he was nervous.

While waiting for his date,Tim started to whistle a tune.He continued on until; he ahd no breath left and stopped.He had a roseand would eventually give it to the girl but he just sta there looking around nervously.

Sapphira had received her owl yesterday saying that her blind date is ready and that they are supposed to meet in the Petting Zoo. But, seriously. Petting zoo? But since Sapph is just submitting the questionaire for fun, she didn't really mind.

She walked to the the Zoo, wondering how would her date look like. She came across a man with a rose in his hands. That must be him, she thought nervously. She hadn't been in a relationship in a while, and so she thought that it would be best to just say hi first.

"Hello," she said with a shy smile. "You must be Mr Prexton, I believe?"

“That’s me,” she replied. And when Prexton handed the rose over to her, she blushed. She had not expected that a blind date would give her anything, much less a flower. “Thanks,” she said at last, after some quite awkward silence.

Well that’s an odd question. “Yeah, I’ve been stationed in the Circus’ petting zoo as one of the security guards last summer.” And when he said that she has a nice name, she blushed again. “I’ve heard,” she answered, laughing nervously. “And I think staying on Mr and Miss sounds awkward. Just call me Sapphira, or other versions of it like Sapph or Fyra, or Sapphy If you want to. Not Miss, it makes me feel old.”

He grinned when he handed over the flower and said''It's alright.''He said smiling.''Well that's interesting.''He said smiling while thinking of his job.''Sure.Just call me Tim then.''He said smiling nervously.''So were you born in England or somewhereelse.''He asked.

Sapph chuckled. "Not really, that was before the Borr uprising and such. Muggleborns got kidnapped, shops closed, various things. Lucky nothing happened to the circus."

"Well, I was born in Italy, but I'm English. My family lived there for like, five or six years, then we moved back here when my brother was born." She smiled, remembering the times when she still lived in Italy. "And I can't speak Italian." She admitted.

"Yup, especially the Third Hand book Emporium. I love their books!" She exclaimed. She love the smell of old books, with yellowed pages and old-styled bindings. They comfort her, and usually they would be the only thing that keeps her attention together.

Sapphira thought that she actually liked talking to Tim. She peered to her wristwatch, only realizing that they have been together for 15 minutes, and they have not went inside the Petting Zoo.

"So, do you want to come inside the zoo now?" She asked.

Sapph walked with him into the Petting Zoo. Are we really going to get serious, Sapph asked herself, starting only by a simple questionnaire that I submitted just for fun? But she really liked Tim a lot, and would like to go out with him again sometimes in the future.

He walked into the Zoo smiling.His mind was going crazy with things like Would they go out again,Would they get serious and stuff like that but Tim continued walking.''So where to first.''He asked smiling at her.Wonder what sort of animals are here?He thought looking around.

"Uhh, I don't know," Sapph said, looking around. She doesn't actually found Petting Zoos interesting since she got stationed in a small Petting Zoo last summer with no circulation of animals. And to be honest she isn't that fond of Pygmy Puffs and Bowtruckles either. Pygmy Puffs are weird useless things, and Bowtruckles are just plain scary.

What she noticed about the Pygmy Puff stand is that the place is extremely crowded. She then looked at the sign, saying that people must scourgify their hands before and after touching the Pygmy Puffs. Pygmy Puffs aren't that dirty, she protested in her head, but she took her wand out anyway. "Scourgify!" she said, pointing the tip of her wand towards her own hand. Her hand didn't changed much.

Sapph took a Pygmy Puff by her hand, not surprised by its lightness. Her sister used to have those, but they ran away. They're not that cute, Sapphira insisted inside her head, but she also thought that the soft colours are kind of good looking.

"Do you want to hold this one?" she asked Tim, showing him the violet Puff she was holding.

He didn't understand th big fuss of these things and looked around.''Um,Yeah sure.''He said stuffing around with his words.To tell you the truth he wasn't a big fan of the things but didn't want to look like a wuss.He held out his hand shaking a little at the thought of having one of them on him.

Sapphira didn't want to take another Pygmy Puff. One was already enough. She just looked at the Pygmy Puff Tim's holding and knitted her eyebrows.

"Uhm," she started, "How 'bout the unicorns?". It's a very common creature in the Wizarding World, but Sapphira hadn't seen them since her years in Hogwarts. "I haven't seen them in a while," she said, "although it's probably the most recognizible thing in the world."

Sapph nodded. She reached the Unicorns in their fenced cages. Looking over the sign, she saw the female unicorns. She sighed.

"Isn't it sad," she started, "that they are captured just for the sake of a petting zoo? I believe that they have the right to live freely in the wilderness."
