 If it doesn't come in a cage or a tank, you will find it on the displays. Aside from the animals available in the store, you can also buy numerous supplies here as well. From health to medicinal to necessities to toys and accessories, you can find anything your new pet may need or desire just by browsing the displays! No matter the pet, you are sure to find a variety of supplies to welcome yours into the family, or pamper an old friend.
Numerous different foods can be found, from sensitive stomach to diet, and regular. If you need shampoo of any kind, they can be found in this area, too. If your pet has fleas or ticks, you can take care of them with a bottle or two. Of course, if you just want your Crup to stop smelling like wet Cruppie, these shampoos can even take care of that! While you're here, check out some of the grooming supplies. Brushes of all shapes, sizes, and materials are available. Snag a smaller brush to fluff up your pygmy puff's fur, maybe a wiry brush to tame your Niffler's hair, and your cat or dog would probably greatly enjoy a dander-snagging brush to keep them smooth and sparkly.
Necessary supplies include such items as tanks, aquariums, cages, travel cages, and more. Make sure to buy everything you need; wouldn't you hate to get home and find out you forgot something? If you need to, talk to the shop keeper to make sure you're buying the appropriate size and type of cage for your new pet. Some animals need much larger environments and some do not do well in certain types of cages.
If toys and accessories are what your pet is desiring, you'll find a plethora! Collars and leashes are just the tip of the iceberg. Your pet can be the most stylish if you pick up some nifty outfits for them. Mix and match the pieces to create a fashionable wardrobe! Booties are available for when the weather becomes too cold for your pets to bear it. All kinds of toys can be found here - from balls to squeaky toys, fake mice, feathers, dangly toys, shiny flashy toys... Your pet will never be bored with this selection.

Hadley wandered up and down the toy aisle, scanning the selection with particular scrutiny. She was shopping for new toys for both Wimple and Asher, of course, but it wasn't the usual, get a new toy to replace the old ones they destroyed, this was a special case. She was leaving them for a month while she visited her Dad in California; the longest time she'd ever been apart from them, and they her. Ferrets were illegal in California, so there was no chance of bring Asher with her, and she really didn't trust the airline to keep Wimple safe in the cargo hold. Besides, it'll be easier on Asher if Wimple was there to keep him company.
Thankfully, Ace had agreed to take care of her pets while she was away, so they would be in good hands. But it was still hard. She didn't want to leave her babies. She felt like a Mom sending her kids to summer camp for the first time. Did people still do summer camp? She'd only ever seen it in movies, particularly old movies, so probably not.
Hads picked up another stuffed shark toy, examining it with special scrutiny. These had to be perfect. In a way, they were apology gifts: Sorry, I'll be gone for a month. After a moment, she returned the shark to the shelves and pulled out another one to subject it to the same harsh scrutiny.

This kid. This kid was one of Hadley's all-time favorite people. And not simply because she popped up randomly to remind Hadley how awesome she was, though that didn't hurt. Isabel Wright was a complete ball of infectious excitement and joy and positivity and fun. It was impossible not be enamored by the girl.
"Hey, Short Crop." Everyone got a nickname from Haddie. Hads set the toy she was looking at down, leaned over and returned Isa's hug with a big one of her own. "How's my little sister? Enjoying your summer?" She straightened back up and gave Isa a wink. "Let me guess, you're here to get more food for your bazillion pets?"
It was then that something struck her. Her head tilted to the side a little and her eyes had a far away look in them for a moment as the idea formed. "Didn't you once tell me you liked to breed little fuzzy creatures?" The irony that Prefect and Head Girl Penny's little sister might be the solution to her little problem was not lost on her. Er, wait, was that irony? "How would you like to help me with something? But you'll have to promise not to mention a word of it to Penny."

"I don't know," Hadley shrugged, "in a few years, you might actually like not having your parents constantly at home." She knew she did. It sucked that Dad was all the way on the far side of an entirely different continent, but having the house to themselves when Mom was busy at work (which was always) was kinda awesome. Besides now she had a reason to go visit California regularly. "My summer? It's not too bad so far. Just been hanging around a bit thus far. But in another week I'll be flying out to California for the next month, so it's gonna be a great summer!"
She smiled as Isa listed off all her pets. The girl was so gonna magizoologist someday. Hads was calling it now. "That's actually why I'm here. I can't take Wimple and Asher to California with me, so they're gonna stay with my friend, Ace and I'm buying them both new toys for when I'm away." Okay, so she was a total mama bear to her pets, but if anyone understood that, it was Isa.
Ah, good. Hadley remembered that right. Perfect. Oh, and she wanted more small pets at Hogwarts to take care of...doubly perfect. "Think you can breed me pygmy puffs? Like a lot of them. A lot, a lot. At least 50,000? Not only that, but I'll let you take care of them. You'll be the official care-giver." She raised her eyebrows as if to ask, what do you think?

That's right. She remember Penny mentioning once she was from California. Hadley nodded. "Yeah, my Dad. He moved back there after the divorce. Wait, you'll be there in August?" Hadley was spending the whole month of August there. "Where in California? I'll be in L.A. If you're close enough, we should meet up. I can teach you to surf." She was already going to teach Rachel to surf anyhow, so it wasn't like it'd take anytime out of her plans. Especially since part of her plans consisted of a lot of surfing. It would be fun to hang out with the Wright sisters, in California, in a setting that wasn't school, or shopping for school.
"Three years? That's exactly when I need them by." Hadley's eyes twinkled a little, and a sly, devious smirk slipped across her lips. She gave the kid a playful wink. "You'll see, Short Crop. You'll see. But, I promise you, not a single one will be harmed or mistreated in anyway. And, we might be legends if we can do this..." Eh, the Kid should know what she's getting herself into. Hadley waved Isa closer, glancing around to make sure no one was spying on them, and then cupped her hands around Isa's ear, and whispered the plan to her.

He was leaning towards a snake. It would be cool even if he could never talk to it. Man, was this kid dumb. Levi almost felt sorry for him if he hadn't been kind of annoying. "Well, my toad would give you judgmental stares just for saying something stupid. And toads are actually poisonous." Most people didn't know this and it didn't affect people in a very dangerous way, but he'd bet this kid was clueless.
Omg. The thirteen year old fought back a condescending sigh. "You can't learn parseltongue. It's an inherited thing." Surely, he knew this? Okay, so Levi wasn't completely sure how that worked, but he knew that's what it was. And he did have to admit that it would be cool to communicate with a pet that way, but it just wasn't something that everyone was able to do.
"No, that's why I know they're cool. Yep, I own one so I'm pretty much an expert." Actually, he hoped that this boy wasn't getting one at all. Maybe he should sway him away from the toads so he didn't hurt any. And he seemed like he was someone who could be easily convinced. He wasn't exactly Ravenclaw material. "Oh... I'm pretty sure you'll stand out all on your own." Not a compliment, just saying. "And what is it that you think would be cool? Hogwarts only lets you take certain animals as pets." And a snake wasn't one of them.

He started looking at some pet foods that looked like special Cruppy Diets, then there were Large Mutt Crup Diets. Like breeding Crups with Large Dogs was the wisest of ideas Simon could think of to do with the Magical Dog Breed. Of course he was thinking Sarcastically. If you wanted a Doberman with 2 tails, then had to remove the second tail just to make it fit in just get a Doberman or whatever.
He scratched the back of his hair, curiously. "I don't know what my Pop is doing here. I hope he isn't surprising me with a Pet" which seemed more likely the more he thought about it. They had no pets to begin with back at home. Poor thing would get just as lost he does in that Estate. "At least make it a Ferret or Weasel" if that was going to be the case.

Olly was not here to get a pet. He had one. He was there to get supplies for said pet, a crup named Henry. Usually his dads did the shopping for the pet essentials because Olly was away at school. But now that he was home he was the one to go get the proper supplies. He needed food, shampoo, maybe a new toy. Olly wandered over to look at those. That would be nice of him to get...but it wasn't on his list so he really shouldn't. He only needed the essentially. Like maybe that cool collar over there. Right. No. Essentials.

And All to often sounded like anytime he was bored he would get something weird. And wait he did say low maintenance right because everything he was describing was the opposite of that. Eno gave him a look until it looked like he realized that yeah. The only low low maintenance pet would be a pet rock.

And nothing wrong with liking them as animals.

The lizard bit helped, though, and her eyes widened a bit in enlightenment; However, she did not conjure up an image of much more than a standard lizard with a blue tongue. She would have to research other specifications later. Looking up at the shelf, she realized that she was also not in much of a position to reach whatever it was the other girl need. "I suppose you're right about that," she affirmed, adopting a bit of a forlorn look. Maybe she was taller, but Charlie wasn't quite tall enough. Perhaps she could jump? "On your shoulders? Well, I guess so...." The idea seemed a little unnecessary to her, as you could tell by the look on her face. Weren't there employees who were supposed to help with this stuff, employees who'd be taller than them? Well, as long as they did it without knocking shelves over, she'd be okay. The thirteen year old looked the other kid over. Coolest kid there? He had a long way to go. "Maybe by your seventh year." Even then, it was doubtful with the attitude he had on him. "I'll be gone by then though so I won't be around to see it." He tried to suppress a laugh which came out more as a smirk on his face. "You better hope you don't get caught then. Detention there is the worst. They actually have a room called the torture chamber, reserved just for kids who try to break the rules on purpose." That might take his attitude down a notch or two. Uh. How did you come into a pet store, not knowing what you thought was a cool pet or not. "Well, your choices are limited. Cat, rat, or owl." Or one of those pygmy puffs, but those were mostly for girls.

As far as the small blonde was concerned, she already went to Hogwarts, even though she had yet to set foot into the castle. Maybe it was just because she [i]knew[/url] people who already went there, but Stasya’s anticipation had only grown as the months had passed and now it was summer. Now it was Hogwarts time, as in actually being able to get stuff to finally go. But first, she had wanted some things for Dobby. That had meant the Menagerie, and she felt proud of herself for knowing exactly where to go. She loved the shop, even before she’d met Derf and Scamander there. All the creatures…it wasn’t like the owl shop. It was so much more interesting.
But…squirrel stuff. She needed to focus, and therefore she had bypassed the actual creatures and headed for the other displays. They could go look at the creatures after she’d finished her goal, before she had to go find either mama or Henry. Another person she knew who was already knowledgable about Hogwarts, even if the older boy had been connected to the reason she had almost not gotten to go.
She wondered if they had tiny Hogwarts scarves. She wanted Dobby to be able to participate in all the fun after all, so he needed a scarf. Or a tie. Something. She saw clothes after all.

All the creatures…it wasn’t like the owl shop. It was so much more interesting.
But…squirrel stuff. She needed to focus, and therefore she had bypassed the actual creatures and headed for the other displays. They could go look at the creatures after she’d finished her goal, before she had to go find either mama or Henry. Another person she knew who was already knowledgable about Hogwarts, even if the older boy had been connected to the reason she had almost not gotten to go.
She wondered if they had tiny Hogwarts scarves. She wanted Dobby to be able to participate in all the fun after all, so he needed a scarf. Or a tie. Something. She saw clothes after all. Isa needed a few things for all of her pets. With all of the animals that she owned, including her owl Wulfweardsweorth, and many cats, rabbits, and pygmy puffs, there was always some reason for Isa to visit the Magical Menagerie. She needed food and maybe some other treats and toys. The Magical Menagerie was Isa's favorite shop in Diagon Alley. Usually she was just here to restock her various supplies of food for her different animals, but occasionally she would come home with a new animal friend. She wasn't allowed any new pets now though. As it was, she had enough creatures to care for. There were all of the cats and rabbits and the dog at home, her owl, her cat, her pygmy puff, not to mention all of the other pygmy puffs in her secret breeding program. She was also making plans for some rabbit breeding, although she would need to work out a few things before that could happen. With all of her animals she was always sure to responsibly care for them. Isa payed extra special attention to water, food, grooming, exercise, and health monitoring for each one of her animals.
As she browsed the aisles looking for the right kind of cat food, Isa spotted a young girl. New friend? Maybe she liked animals as much as Isa did? "Hi,
I'm Isa! What's your name?" Isa greeted the girl. "What kind of animals do you have?" The girl had some kind of pet, right? Otherwise she probably wouldn't be here looking at pet supplies.
