In courtroom one, trials regarding minor misdemeanors, or smaller gatherings of Wizengamot members, in particular those who serve on some of the various subcommittees, tend to find themselves in here. With seating for approximately 20, it is one of the courtrooms with a (dare we say it?) homey vibes.
Moving up in the numbers, courtroom seven is one of the more sleekly designed. There is a fully equipped press box up in the back and the high dais, which usually seats the chief Warlock, the Minister of Magic, the Senior Undersecretary and the Head of Magical Law Enforcement as required, is very shiny and modern.
At the end of the long corridor is courtroom 10.The largest of the Ministry of Magic courtrooms, it is big enough to seat the entire Wizengamot. It is very grand with high ceilings and stadium-type seating. There is a lot of history in this room; some of the greatest trials of Wizarding History have happened in here. When the room isn't full, it echoes quite a bit. Some of the Wizengamot seats here have comfortable cushions, but there are less cushions than there are seats, so sometimes there is a bit of a rush to get one, especially if the trial is to be a long one. |
