HISTORY:
Javier, or Javi for short, was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His father, Miguel, was a pureblood wizard working in the muggle world as a data analyst, and his mother Camila was a half blood witch from Brazil who was a homemaker. When Javi was only three years old, his father accepted a job as the Mexican ambassador to the Ministry of Magic of Great Britain and relocated the family to Edinburgh, Scotland. Ever since Javi can remember, he loved to read and learn, and dabbled in a variety of hobbies, mostly focusing on musical instruments. He loves music and can play the piano, flute, and the cello. He also enjoys sports, his Quidditch team of choice being the Holyhead Harpies.
Javier was sorted into Slytherin while at school. He was honestly very surprised by his sorting, as he always thought he would end up in Ravenclaw due to his love of learning. His desire to excel in his studies not only led to 12 NEWTs, but also inspired him to go to Wizarding University after school. He completed an undergraduate degree in Potions Research at the school in Edinburgh before heading to the London school to complete a graduate degree in Magical Forensics. After working as an apprentice at a potion making facility for a few months, he accepted a job as an associate professor at the Wizarding University in Paris, France.
Javier had only one serious girlfriend in his life - a Durmstrang graduate from Russia named Karina Skovski, whom he had met during his first year at University. Wanting to focus more on his career and not really seeing a future for them, however, he broke up with her before his relocation to France. About a year later, he heard through mutual friends that Karina had given birth to his child, a daughter. Javier was livid that he knew nothing about the child, especially when he learned that Karina had wanted nothing to do with the girl and surrendered her to a muggle orphanage. Javier quit his job only one year after accepting it so he could focus full time on hiring a muggle lawyer and gaining full custody of his daughter. After months of legal headaches, Javier was granted full custody of his daughter, whom he named Camila after his mother. He gave her a Russian middle name, however, to give her a small tie to her mother's roots (despite how much he wants to pretend she doesn't exist). While he has tried to reach out to Karina and offered her visitation, he has not gotten a response from her.
Without a job to support himself and his daughter, he moved back in with his parents and took a job at the Ministry. After saving up money during his first year of work, he moved out to a flat in London with Cami, who attended Muggle childcare facilities while Javi was at work.
Javi thought he had met the love of his life in the year of 2100, and had planned to marry her and move together into a new house in the English countryside. However, a terrible falling out occurred and at heartbroken Javi quit his job abruptly and moved to Brazil with Cami. At the Wizarding University in Brazil (located in Brasilia) he was once again teaching his first love - potions. After a few years, he finally felt like his heart had healed enough and he could move back to London, particularly because he missed his family terribly.
Camilla was set to start her schooling while they were in Brazil, but Javier decided to homeschool her instead of sending her to Castelobruxo as he knew he was likely going to be returning to London soon, and didn't want her to get attached to the school only to yank her from it a year later. Once he was settled back in London he planned to homeschool her for one more year before allowing her to attend Hogwarts - he'd heard about the whole "possession" thing from his colleagues and decided he'd keep her around one more year just to be safe.
OTHER FUN FACTS:
-Often very particular about what he eats since he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease during his final year at Hogwarts
-Hates cats, but unintentionally adopted one that wandered into his parent's house and won't leave. His name is Pepper and he loves him
-While posing as a muggle during the legal battle to adopt his daughter, he became obsessed with Muggle football. He now follows the Mexican National Football team.
-Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Russian.
-After his adoption of Camila, he has started collecting vintage children's books to start building her her own library

Autumn was born to Zachary and Han-na Carey on the 25th of January, 2070 in London, England. They were not planning on having another child when she was born but loved her nevertheless. She grew up to be an adventurous and brave child. Since she was five years old, she began showing signs of magic. In the summer of 2081, she received her Hogwarts acceptance letter.
At Hogwarts, Autumn was Sorted into Gryffindor and was thrilled to follow in her sisters Layla and Mabel's footsteps. Her seven years at school were uneventful (or as uneventful as one could get at Hogwarts). She quickly discovered her passion for sports. As Quidditch was cancelled, she could not play at school. Instead, she spent every single day of her school holidays flying in her yard. Beginning in the summer before her sixth year, she received Quidditch training from a private instructor.
After graduation, Autumn was lost as to what she would do. She took a special training course in "Wizarding Sports" for six months, then when she thought she could no longer stand being classified as "unemployed", applied for a job in the Ministry of Magic.
She was offered a position as Gobstones Administrative Associate within the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Although she was more of a Quidditch fan than a Gobstones player, Autumn quickly grew to love her job and worked hard. After three years of employment at the Ministry, she decided that she wanted a change of scenery and took up a new job as a Gobstones journalist at Wizarding Sports Programming Magazine.
It was at her new workplace that Autumn first met photographer Lawrence Norton. They immediately hit it off and it was not long before they began a romantic relationship. The couple got engaged in the winter of 2095. Meanwhile, Autumn’s excellent work as a journalist earned her a promotion as the Gobstones editor. All was well for the young woman. But little by little, arguments between the engaged couple increased in frequency and intensity, until they decided to end their relationship. Seeing each other at work became rather awkward afterwards. After some serious discussion, Autumn and Lawrence came to a mutual agreement to quit their jobs together.
Hence Autumn Carey returned to the Ministry of Magic, with the shiny new position of Gobstones Regulations Officer.
