Toxicology and Analysis Laboratory The Toxicology and Analysis Laboratory on level three is a facility set aside for employees of the Accidents and Catastrophes department in order to continually work on their brewing and potion identification skills, or develop some experimental potions for assessment and tweaking purposes. While this laboratory is primarily for use by potioneers, it is also a space appropriate for those who are working to identify particular spells or charms found on bewitched objects. |
Dalton! Walking smartly through the department, her designer heels clacking only slightly on the flooring due to a handy charm Nives’ had told her about. Her sister-in-law. Not her half-sister Nives. Her sister-in-law Nives. Yes. Man her family was confusing at times. Opening the door into the labratory, she slipped insid and looked around for Dalton. He hadn’t been in the main desked area of the department, which meant he was elsewhere. Duh. Okay, Giulia stop rambling. We’re here for a reason. Hands carefully placed in the hiplow pockets of her dress, she moved around the lab without touching anything. When she was close to the man, she stood at his side waiting for him to realise she was there - not wanting to interupt his concentration when he was doing something. Lalalalalala. “Oh.” The Italian smiled at him. “Hahlo.” Her accent was still very strong, having only been in London for a few months now. “How are you zettling in?” Not wanting to contaminate - well, anything - she stood straight, away from the table. Her hands in her pockets as she did the - small talk. Sí. Small talk. |

With a wave of his wand, he finished up what he was doing and turned around just as Giulia started to speak. "Hi Guilia," he managed politely as he stowed his wand away. "I'm really enjoying it, thanks. What about you?" Wait, she was new as well, right? He hadn't just made that up in his brain? |

She missed home, and actual pizza… but he didn’t need to know that. Definitely not. “Eliora would like to schedule a meeting with you.” She told him, hating small talk and figuring he would rather just know what she was here for. After all, he likely only saw her in the labs when she was looking for someone specifically. “A general review, make sure you are settling in… enjoying it… etc.” She said, hands unfolding to rotate in the air in a physical ‘etc’ motion. |

As he moved to wash his hands (one could never be too careful in a potions laboratory), Dalton stiffened ever so slightly. A meeting with the Department Head? Guilia could dress it down all she wanted, but it still sounded ominous to him. Of course, he wanted to come across well, but not quite obsequious, so he paused before the temptation to run straight to Eliora's office overcame him. "When would she like this meeting?" he asked, trying to seem as though he wasn't worried. |

Well, mostly. There was Zia Ciosa… but she loved to smile as much as she loved to bake. It was what they all loved her for. Her baking and her café …. But you didn’t cross Zia Ciosa, not if you didn’t want cut off from the best coffee and bruttiboni in Italy. Hmmm. She liked how straight to the point Dalton was. She could appreciate that. “Eliora either has an appointment available at 4pm this afternoon or tomorrow morning at 9.30am.” She gave him a |

"Nine-thirty tomorrow would be good, yeah," he said, grateful that he'd had the choice between the two. "I can get a test started first thing in the morning." And whilst it didn't require watching, he would be free to attend the meeting. |
<3 SPOILER!!: Dalton The silence didn’t bother her, in fact, she found it nicer and more honest than some of the stupid conversations she had had in the break room since she had started here. She had a genuine appreciation for Dalton’s manner and it was one she very much missed about her cousins at times. Sometimes. ”Nine-thirty tomorrow it is.” She said, nodding her head. ”Gratzie. I will let Eliora know tonight to expect you. If you get held up, please send me a memo or patronus of some form and I can rearrange the appointment for you.” Giulia looked at Dalton for a few seconds before she nodded once more. ”I hope I didn’t take up too much of your time.” She was being stupid. Nevermind. |
