EEEEP!

Her dummer? In like ... a band? Miles' head whizzed with thoughts of being a drummer in an amazing, rocking band of Lima's. He could do that as a career right? It's not like he had thought of anything to do after school yet. "I could?! Thankyouuu!!" He beamed and gave her a big bear hug, she deserved it.

Miles chuckled, even if she didn't like it, he would now call her it. But, from her expression, she liked it. Few. "Well, you know how I do." He smirked, he'd never been good with nicknames, but this one seemed to be a point on his side.

Walking along the street with the girls, and hands in his pockets, Miles followed Pretzel's finger towards what looked like a HUUUGE building, and very old too. "Notre Dame?" He guessed it was french. "... sounds cool."

Ella felt so bad of breaking all those Zel's transfer news to Lima. They seemd so upset over the issue. You had to shut your mouth Ella..she almost cursed herself. Shaking her head with her own disappointment she looked up at the building which reads..Notre Dame. "I'm all ready for some experiment.." she smiled at Zel.

But it was freezing cold in the street suddenly. Bad that she didnt have the jerkin with her. She laughed at Miles, "How do I know?.." she was teasing him, rubbed her hands together to warm up..no..it was not helpful. Gah..very bad. She had no other way but tucked her hand into Miles and made herself close to him, "Sorry..I'm freezing.." her teeth starting chattered.

Lima was sad now. Very, very sad. Yet another person was leaving her. First Kyler, then Benny, then her parents, then Mads. And now Pretzel was going too. She knew at this point that if Miles left her, she would go crazy and have to be committed to St Mungos.

Seeing Pretzel come towards her to embrace her in a hug, she sighed and wrapped her arms around her. Seemed like they were both close to breaking out into tears in the middle of the street. Leave it to us to be emotional, she thought chucking to herself.

"I'm happy for you," she said still hugging her. "And I'll forgive you on one condition,"she added with her standard shiftiness. "And this is to go besides the letters and Hogsmeade visits," she said as she finally let her go from the hug.

Though she was distracted as Pretzel then decided to mention their first tour stop. Looking over to it, she saw that it was very beautiful. "Yes, lets go there first!" she said momentarily forgetting that she was sad.

She coudln't help but laugh at his excitement. Though she was surprised when he grabbed her into a sudden bear hug; generally it was her that was the hugger in that friendship. Though she was glad for the hug.

Smiling, she said, "it would be my honor to have you be my drummer. And you can stay my drummer for as long as you want to." Which I hope is forever...

Lima heard Ella mention that she was cold. Frowning sightly she took her pack off of her back and opened it. She took out a sweater that she had packed herself and gave it to her friend. "Here you go," she said smiling at her. She figured it would fit as they were about the same size more or less.

Miles rolled his eyes at Ella and smiled. He was never great with nicknames, but he knew this one would be a good one, and would probably stick with her for a while. Many people would call her it, or atleast Miles. Bwahaha...

He widened his eyes a little as Ella's hand held his, that just made him feel colder. Miles looked at her a little oddly, before going back to his smile. "Alright, Well I'm cold now."

He let go of her, and felt the need to bounce up and down. He didn't, thankfully, but he did grin like a cheshire cat. That's my career sorted. He thought in his mind, bwaha! "Yes! Thankyou so much! I shall not do you wrong. I'll be the best drummer you've ever seen." He smirked evily, no reason why. He just felt like it, after all, he was going to be a drummer!

Ella was surprised...aw..how sweet Lima was! She watched her held out her sweater to her. "You're the best..mah elephant.." she leaned, quicky gave her a hug before took the sweater. She felt more comfortable now once the sweater was on her freezing body. She smiled, "thank you luffly.."

No doubt, the boy has a charming smile, she had noticed it so many times. She couldnt help but smile with him without knowing the exact reason for his smile. well..smile was contageous..especially gorgeous ones..Haha..

"See..i feel better now..with sweater on.." she said, still holding his hand, "so..I can make you comfortable.." she took his hand in between hers..rubbing it..gently to make him warm and comfortable as they approached the shop finally.

She kept laughing at his enthusiasm. He was so cute. "You are so adorable!" she couldn't help exclaiming. Though she raised her brow slightly at the evil smirk before shrugging it off as nothing. "I'm sure that you will be an amazing drummer. And I hope that Vannie doesn't mind me hogging you occasionally." She winked at him teasingly.

She smiled and returned the hug saying, it's nothing. I guess that it's a good thing that I always pack everything when I go away." She chuckled and let go of her friend. Then she watched Ella get friendly with Miles. She hook her head. So cute.

"You're so..smart Ms. Cautious.." Ella was teasing her friend, it had been so long since they were together last time. The vacation was so packed and now she got some time to have fun with Lima. "I dunno why i get cold all of a sudden.." she laughed.

Miles was grateful for Ella when Lima gave her a sweater, then she could let go of his hand right? He couldn't have been any more wrong, she still clung to him like a limpet to a rock. Course, he didn't mind, he liked holding hands with people. Err ..

"Having fun?" He raised his eyebrow as she started messing with their hands.

Miles' eyes widened in fright. What? ..

WHAT?!

"What?" He said what was on his mind. Adorable? He had heard this before, by Vannie, but that was expected, but did everyone think that?! Teddy bears and puppies were meant to be adorable for girls, not Miles! He wondered what people actually thought was 'adorable' about him.

Trying to ignore the fact that he was adorable, Miles smiled as she continued to talk about his drumming career. "She won't mind, and if she does, I can just bring her with me. Right?"

Hugging Lima back tightly, Rapunzel felt much better already.

When she pulled away at last, she beamed at Lima and nodded. Then blinked. "Wait, huuuh?" She shook her blonde head in confusion. "You mean, you DO want me to write you and visit you in Hogsmeade? Right? AND you'll come to ALL my local Cannons matches? I mean, all of my friends will be getting free season tickets of course..."

She trailed off and eyed Ella, Lima, and Miles meaningfully. That included them - they had ALL better be supporting the Chudley Cannons. How couldn't they, with Ryan and Rapunzel rocking the team?

Well, now that that was all taken care of, they could focus on their little vacation.

"Ah yes, that is the Muggle Cathedral Notre Dame," Punz stated in a loud, tour-guideish tone to Ella and Miles. She even turned around to face her friends as she walked backwards down the street. "Construction on the Cathedral began in 1163..." she continued, walking right into a lamppost without realizing it.

"OW!" Rapunzel exclaimed, bouncing off the post as she turned around to realize that perhaps walking backwards wasn't such a good idea. She rubbed her back and growled at the stupid post...just popping out of the ground like that...hmmph!

"Um, anyways guys, I don't think we're allowed to go in there, you know, it's kind of sacred for Muggles." She shrugged and then pointed in another direction, down the street. "We should head THERE, instead. Tis more famous and fun." Pretzel beamed and rocked to and fro on her toes, remembering the cutie she'd met the last time she'd visited the Eiffel Tower....

Ella was looking at his face, trying to read his mind. But his face reactions were so unreadable. His smile was vanished yet he looked calm like a deep ocean. Did she bother him?!

She looked up, "I'm..sorry..I'm just trying to warm up you.." her voice was soft, "I'll stop if you dont like.." she nodded, her eyes were curious.


"Ouch"..Ella gasped when Zel got hit by the pole. "Take care Zel.." she pulled her friend closer to her insde the safe zone before she hit another pole or something. She didnt want her friend to get hurt. "Sounds..interesting Zel..as you know i'm an ardant fan of muggle stuffs.." she added, looking around the place, catching up each and every small things happened around them.

Lima snorted. "I'm more of a big planner than smart." She shook her head. Lima took vacations seriously and never went anywhere without taking everything that she could possibly need. "And you get cold so easily 'cause you are Ella. You can have winter in July." She winked teasingly.


She chuckled as he looked at her as if she was insane. "Look at me like that all you want. The truth still remains that you are adorable, Miles Parker. As well as irresistible to women." Oooh, she had really done it now. hehe

"And that would be great. She would be able to see us play naturally." Lima would always give her friends free tickets to see her.

Lima looked at Pretzel as if she was insane. "Well, of course I want you to write to me as well as visit. Why wouldn't I? And I do expect tickets to all our matches, just like you can expect tickets to all my concerts." She shook her head though she was feeling a lot better about everything already.

Lima listened as Pretzel then adopted the role of tour guide. Though she didn't really care for the girl walking backwards the whole time. She was about to warn the girl to be careful when she hit a lamppost. "Are you okay?" she asked concerned. She was glad that Ella pulled her into safety though.

Getting back to business she said, "I've always wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower. It seems so romantic." She sighed dreamily. She never would be able to go there with Maddox, but maybe she would find a new guy and be able to go there with him sometime. She sighed again as her imagination got to work.

Miles smiled. "That's very nice of you." He mused, swining their arms back an forth, just for fun. They walked down the street, following Pretzel, along with Lima. "Nuuuuu." He tried his best to smile sweetly, "It's fine."



Miles shook his head of hair and frowned. What Lima was saying made him feel like his ears were bleeding. "I am NOT ador--.." He stopped in mid sentence, as she said something that he really wasn't expected. He knew he used to be irresistable to women, or atleast he thought, but not now! Noooooo! "WHAAAA?! What are you trying to say?" Miles shuffled uncomfortably, his hand still clutched in Ella's.

For a brief few moments, he smiled at her, yet his mind was still on what Lima had said. "Yeaah. It would be good." - Plus, he would me genuis on drums. Miles looked up, and continued to follow Pretzel, trying to take his mind off the last conversation. "The .. IFELL TOWER?" He'd never been to Paris, so how was he meant to know what it was? But when they arrived at it, he couldn't help but stare in awe. "Woooooooooah."

"I'm fine, I'm fine," Punzel muttered, rubbing the back of her head a little. "Thanks Ella." She smiled at her friend and then looked up at the ginormous Eiffel Tower and then to Lima. She had a feeling the older girl was going to like this place.

"You know, I was going to send you a postcard from here, Lima," she said mischievously. "It's oh-so-romantic indeed." Punz wriggled her eyebrows as she said this, as if a handsome French poet and/or violinist was going to pop up at any moment and start showering the group in rose petals. Heh. Miles probably would've loved that.

"We can go up too, if you'd like," she added as an afterthought, eying the giant structure thoughtfully. "We won't be able to see much though, since it is kinda cloudy." Looked like it was going to rain at annnny moment, actually. Hmm.

Ella chukled, "Oh..hey..you a planner.." she was teasing her untill Lima started teasing her back about her sudden coldness and all. She was right. She didnt know where she picked up cold all of a sudden. She shyly looked up at Miles and turned to Lima, "Haha..it's a mystery.." she gently nudged on her side, shushed.

Ella's face went back to normal, after she heard his polite tone. She looked at their arms, as they swinging in the air, she was playing along with him, "Okay..Is this your first ever visit to Paris, Miles?" by the look of him it seemed like that.

She reached her pocket, pulled out her iPod, "let's enjoy some music..rockstar.." she offered him one of the two ear phones. Music..her passion..her first love..

"No problem Zel.." Ella still keeping Zel by her side safely, as they reached the bottom of the enormous tower. Eiffel Tower. The world famous..tower. "Wow" she cocked her neck to see the full height of the gigantic tower.

Zel was right. There was so cloudy. But that didnt dump her enthusiasm. "We should go to the top..Zel.." she paused, still looked up at the structure, "I dont want to miss this opportunity.." she nodded, "What you say Miles and Lima?" asked her friends, hoping that they would agree with her.

Ignoring his discomfort, Lima just gave him another big hug and said, "Oh, Miles! You are just like a big teddy bear!" She squeezed him and gave him a kiss of the cheek, laughing.

She laughed at his obvious fascination with the Eiffel Tower. "Isn't it beautiful?" she asked as they approached the structure. "I've always wanted to go there. This is so exciting!"

She chuckled at Pretzel and said, "Oh, I would have loved that." She wriggled her brows along with her friend. She then sighed and said, "you think that I will meet a gorgeous poet there? Maybe fall in love and live happily ever after?" She was starting to drift off into dream land.

She nodded at the next comment and said, "I want to go up there even if it's cloudy. I've wanted to come here for so long and I'd feel sad if I missed the chance now. I don't want to wait until after graduation." She looked at her other friends to see if they agreed with her.

She laughed at Ella's first comment. "Yeah, surprising, huh? I drive people insane with my planning habits." She snorted. Then she added, "you are just one big mystery, aren't you?" and stuck out her tongue at her.

She smiled when Ella seemed to agree with her. "Seems like we share a brain," she said laughing. She waited to hear what Miles had to say.

"YES!" Miles beamed with his eyes wide-open, possibly nearly bulging out of his face. The tower was so pretty and magical, he felt hounored to be able to go up there. "Can we, oh pleaaaaase?" He quickly turned to Lima, pouting at her pathetically.

He nodded. "Yup, and it's not going to be my last." Miles winked at her, he would have to take Vannie one time, he knew she would love it. All the places he could take her, and yes, he would go shopping with her if she wanted.

Miles raised his eyebrow at the shiny rectangular thing. "There's music on that?" OH! He just remembered that Astrid had shown him the same thing, it had a screen, and it was also why and rectangular, and played music. YES! Go memory. "Okaaai." He said excitedly, inserting the ear phone in his ear.

Miles squirmed, but then stopped, as it may be a little rude. And plus, he always loved a good hug from the Limanator. He widened his eyes a little. "A teddy bear?!" Where was she getting all of this from!? Had he ever implied that he was a teddy? FAIL.

He nodded. "Yeah, really cool." He said. Miles had already seen something similar, Blackpool tower. But it obviously wasn't as famous, and wasn't really England's 'landmark'.

Miles glanced at both Ella and Lima as they talked about how they mysteriously get colds. Freaky, that Ella had a cold in the middle of summer, and that he was warming her up by holding her hand. But he didn't mind, just as long as he didn't get it. Still, very suspicious.

She pouted when he started squirming. "Aww, you don't like hugging me?" she asked pretending that he had hurt her feelings. But she couldn't really be hurt by Miles, he was way too cute. "Yes, you are like a big, cuddly teddy bear. Milsey!" She pinched his cheeks knowing that this was probably killing him.

"Too bad Vannie's not here, eh?" she added giggling and she looked at the tower. It really was a romantic spot. Too bad the first time she came to it was when she was single.

She giggled and adopted Pretzel's sudden eagerness, skipping off towards the lift after her and casting occasional backwards glances at Miles and Ella. "You think I will? I sure hope so!" She was starting to get excited. But she had to be careful not to get her hopes up. Or she would be really disappointed if it didn't happen.

Suzy, wishing that Pierre was with her right about now, was standing by the Eiffle Tower looking at her Map. She could apperate back to Maddox's estate, but the muggle way was more fun. She grinned and giggled at the thought.

Then suddenly, like Moses was parting the Red Sea, there was one person Suz did not want to see right now. Lima. She loved Lima, but what she did to Mads was so wrong. She quickly turned, to stand facing in the opposite direction, her dark brown hair flying into her face as she went. "Oh please don't see me." She whispered to herself.

She started looking around the place smiling. There were so many people there. Maybe her Frenchman was among them! Then she saw a girl with dark brown hair standing a distance off. She squinted, wondering if it was who she thought it was. Then the girl turned to the opposite direction and she saw her full profile. "SUZY!!" she squealed as she rushed towards her friend, wrapping her into a big hug. "I missed you!"

CRAP! Lima saw her. She quickly composed herself. Suzy knew that Lima would be hurt if she just brushed her off, and she didnt want to do that. But Maddox was her cousin, and best friend. She sighed and smiled saying "Hi Lima!" She quickly hugged the girl back. "I've missed you too. How have you been?" She was a very good actress. Right now she really wanted to scream at Lima, but she decided that would not be a good idea, especially since she had people with her.

She smiled and said, "I've been good. Sorta. I'm here to explore the city for when I move here after graduation. And to see if I can meet a gorgeous Frenchman." She winked and suddenly realized that Suzy might not be happy with her about Mads. But Suzy wouldn't have a grudge against her, right? "What about you? And why are you here now?" She frowned then wondered if her cute boyfriend was around there somewhere.

Rapunzel really wanted to head up the tower, and she had almost reached the lift to go up, when she turned around suddenly and noticed Lima running to glomp some girl back at the base.

"We'll have to go up later," Punz muttered to Miles and Ella before following Lima toward the girl she had spotted. "Hello!" she turned and greeted Lima's friend cheerfully. "I'm Rapunzel." The girl kinda looked vaguely familiar for some reason but Punz wasn't sure why.

Meanwhile, a pale boy with curly brown hair observed the girls (and Miles) from a cafe table a little ways away from the base of the Eiffel Tower. What kind of silly tourist would be wandering around in unseasonal weather like this? the boy thought, turning up the collar of his thick leather jacket to keep the nippy breeze away. He leaned across the wire table, blocking his notebook from the rain as he jotted down a few more lines of elegant poetry.

Jacques was his name and McLovin was his game and he was on the lookout for some inspiration. He couldn't help overhearing the older blonde going on about 'meeting some Frenchmen' and raised a dark eyebrow. Hmm...perhaps this is my chance...

He slipped out of the cafe chair and tucked his notebook into his pocket, slipping the pen behind his ear in one fluid movement. A few steps later, Jacques had crept up behind the blonde girl - she appeared to be British - and tapped her on the shoulder gently.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle, but may I ask you a question?" Jacques spoke softly, his odd accent hardly audible, and waited for her to turn around.

Lima was startled as Pretzel suddenly appeared. She was so caught up in seeing Suzy, that she momentarily forgot all about her best friend. She smiled and was about to explain who Suzy was when she was suddenly tapped on the shoulder.

And then she heard the accent. Oooooh. She turned and saw that it was a young Frenchman. A cute young Frenchman. It took her a second to figure out what he had said to her. And when she did, she got a confused look on her face. "Yes, what do you want to ask?" She looked at him curiously.

"AWW WHUUT?" Miles said rather loudly and frowned. He continued to swing his arms with Ella's and looked back at the tower. Naaaw, it was so pretty and big. Even if he was afraid of heights, he wouldn't mind going up that. Why were they going up later anyway? Miles only just noticed another girl appear whom he'd never seen before. "Oh." He blushed.
