Sky nodded "Definitely! When I first joined though my stepmom stopped speaking to me swearing up and down that I would never marry," She looked over at Benjy and chuckled "and I would be killed on the very first mission. My dad was even worse. But thank goodness for siblings they convinced them they were being absolutely ridiculous!!" She finished and smiled as she heard Eliza talk about her and her husband. "When did you and Jack marry? I love meeting like that, starting out as co-workers and than friends and than finally love!" She wasn't sure she had used the right term for the last but it worked...

Elizabeth smiled, "I think you proved them wrong and your siblings right." She laughed, "I met him a week after Lucas was born around the time of his fatger's death... Both of us didn't believe in love at first but jack fell in love and won me over." She had a look of live in her eyes, "We just celebrated our second anniversary." A light smile was on her face.

Sky smiled and nodded. She was super happy that happened, otherwise she probably wouldn't be talking to her dad and stepmom right now... Oh, yikes... She felt sorry for Elizabeth even though it must have happened forever ago, it still hurt to lost someone. " That is so romantic! He won you over!!Epp!" Hearing that she had just celebrated her second anniversary she smiled and cherrfully added "COngratulations!!"

Elizabeth smiled, "It wasnt that romantic though." She laughed, "The day I knew that I was in love was the day that he went after my daughter's kidnappers/ murders and came back after..." She glanced down then back up, "erm... took care of them... he lived 20 miles away from me which was the nearest house to mine and he rode horseback for 18 miiles so beaten up and bloodied... he sent his patronus to me and I rode the other two miles... and dragged him into the estate and I nursed him back to health." She blushed and sighed, "It was stormy that night..." Her eyes started to have a far away look in them with love shining in her eyes until she heard 'Congratulations'. Eliza blinked then smiled at Sky, "Thanks..." She laughed and sighed, "Sorry... about the whole story..." Elizabeth blushed then looked at Sky, "So where were you raised?"

Sky chuckled and smiled, until she heard the rest of it...A small frown appeared on her face... "Huh...That is horrible... My goddaughter was also kidnapped luckily for her family though her father found her. I'm sorry that your daughter wasn't so lucky." She looked down for a second saddened. Before looking up. "It still sounds like a romantic story...The nursing back to health part..." She smiled as she noticed the look in Elizabeth's eyes. "Your welcome." Hearing her apologize she put her hand on Elizabeth's hand and said "Don't apologize, I asked for the story and you gave me one." Where did she grow up, hmm. "I grew up in Rome, Italy, well after I was eleven. Before I was eleven I grew up here, in little Britain."

Eliza sighed, "That it is..." She gave a light smile, "Thank goodness your goddaughter is still alive." Elizabeth laughed and smiled, "I guess it is a bit romantic." Eliza laughed. "Rome and Britian? Those are nice places to grow up." She nodded.

Sky nodded it was good to know that she was safe...Even though she had been frozen two terms ago...She would never fully drop that unlike her gutless cousin. "Yes I quite enjoyed both places, its where I had called home." Looking around she added "I think I found a new home though." That was very good for Sky because usaully the guy would have ran by now..

Eliza smiled, "That is good." Her smile grew, "Glad to hear it." She glanced at Benjy and Lucas then back at Sky, "If you have any problems with him just tell me and I will straight him out for ya." Elizabeth winked and chuckled.

Sky nodded it was good. She looked over at Benjy and Lucas and said "I shall let you know." Though she hoped there wouldn't be any problems... But she now had two people who offered...But maybe it was best to talk to Elizabeth before the other person...Benjy might not make it alive out of that one...

She smiled and laughed, "I don't forecast any problems but just in case, ya know?" Eliza glanced at her son playing with Benjy and a loving expression came onto her face. "I am glad my baby brother is marrying... He deserves to be happy... He is such a help and a kind man..." Eliza glanced at Sky, "I'm glad that he fell for you... I think that you two will be amazing together." If that wasn't obviously her approval then nothing was.

Sky nodded she hoped so too. Nerida glanced over at Benjy and Lucas. She smiled. Hearing Eliza she turned her attention to her and said "He is. Me too. Thank you." It meant a lot, her approval that was. She could tell that Eliza meant a lot to Benjy so it meant a lot.

Elizabeth smiled, "I am so glad that I got a chance to meet you." She laughed, "It was truely a delight, Sky." She glanced at Benjy and Lucas, thinking that it was almost time to go... maybe...

Sky nodded and said "Yes it was very good to meet you too." She cast a glance over at Benjy and Lucas. "It was truly marvelous, I can't wait until we meet again..." Because what she said kinda sounded like a closing statement or?? Maybe not.

Elizabeth glanced back at Sky, "I cant wait either." A glimmer of a smile came to her lips and she glanced back at her son then again to Sky. "Perhaps we can have a day to go shopping together or something." Eliza laughed.
Lucas wiggled out of Benjy's arms after getting bored of playing with the plane. He went over to Eliza and climbed onto her lap which made Elizabeth look less worried. Lucas cuddled into his mother. He didnt like being away from her for long. He looked at Sky, "Hi..." He waved then blushed and buried his head in his mother's hair. He was shy and thought Sky was pretty.

ooc: This is the start of a new scene. The scene is the wedding between Benjamin and Sky. The wedding occurs in the gathering hall near the loft and the reception will occur in the loft. The day is New Years Day, 2080.
Benjy was nervous. Not cold feet nervous, just nervous. The redhead was standing off to the side at the front of the room, waiting for Elizabeth to show up and let him know that they were ready to go. He fidgeted around with his white and green striped tie. His tuxedo was white as was his vest. His shoes, shirt, and handkerchief were a Slytherin green, matching the green on the tie.

The former slytherin looked around at his family who had come to support him and Sky. Most of them were seated, but Benjy noticed his niece, Lily, corralling his nephew, Lupin, and Elizabeth's son, Lucas, at the end of the isle. Lupin and Lucas were going to be the ring bearers, and Lily was going to be a flower girl. Turning his attention to the door which led to the room that Sky was preparing in, Benjy started to get a little anxious. He knew he was marrying his best friend, so he just wanted to see her and get the show on the road.

The minister presiding over the wedding was none other than Benjamin's adopted father. Mr. Thomas Doherty stood on the top step in the front of the room, lined up directly with the isle. He wore a simple set of black dress robes and had a top hat covering his nearly bald head. He glanced briefly at his watch and noted that there was still half an hour until the ceremony was supposed to begin. After a quick glance towards his stepson, he pulled out a little black book and a quick quotes quill and started taking some notes.

To be honest Sky was nervous..Not about the wedding..But if her stepmother would make it... She had been crying since she walked in the room. Sky had cried to. Two things came with her crying stepmother and her dad who was trying not to shed a tear be manly. The things belonged to her mother, her mother's veil and the jewelry she had worn. She had remembered putting them on when she was little and joking that she was going to get married in them. And now she really was. Her sister of course knew and had gotten two different shoes. Luckily for her because her bowed shoes would not match the butterfly veil and jewels. Her mum was a weird woman when it came to symbolic things. After her father left her sister and stepmother began to make her beautiful.

After exiting the Bride room. James looked towards his future son in law. He wasn't so sure he wanted to give his daughter away... He looked around where were the rest of his kids...It was hard keeping track of all of them. Ten in total. Five with his first wife, may she rest in peace and five with Serena. Hopefully his daughter and this Benjy could create a family like his...Maybe with less kids though... He walked over to Benjy and his father Thomas. "Well I left them in there, let the girls do those things. You ready Benjy?" He had already gave a warning to the boy, you mess with his daughter you don't get seen ever again and he met it... Though Serena had told him to be nice. Only this once on his daughter's wedding day...And when ever his other kids were married.

Eliza came over to Benjy, "You feeling ok, bro?" She gave him a light kiss in the cheek then rubbed it to make sure a mark hadn't been left. She gave a kind nod to the guy who came up to Benjy.

Staring at the door where Sky was going to come out, Benjy was somewhat surprised when her father came out. Even coming from a background dealing with bad guys, Sky's father still somewhat made the redhead nervous. As the soon to be father-in-law made his way over, Benjy sorta stopped fidgeting and stood up straight, almost seeming to be stiff. "Good to see you again, sir." He said offering a hand to shake. "I certainly am ready." Talk about intimidating... Benjy tried not to blush as he thought about what Sky would say if she saw him right now. He was sure it had to do with the fact that the father was giving away his daughter to a guy he hadn't seen all that often.

Benjy only started to relax when Elizabeth came over. He was glad that she had decided to come, especially since he knew how she didn't really care for weddings. "I'm... I'm alright, Elizabeth. Can.. Can you, um, go make sure Lily and the boys are all set. Especially Lupin and Lucas... Can you make sure they haven't gotten their suits dirty already?" He asked her, hesitantly looking at the little guys.

Thomas looked up from his book and grinned broadly as Sky's father came up to talk with Benjy. Stepping over, he gave a greeting of his own, putting a hand out to shake. "Good Morn', James." He said giving a nod. "They almost ready in there?" He inquired about how the bride was doing in her preparations. They still had plenty of time, but it was always good to know that things were moving along smoothly.

Eliza laughed and smiled, "Of course, brother, as you wish." She nodded and turned, going to do what he asked.

James knew for a fact he made Benjy nervous...And it was going to stay that way. He took his soon to be son in law's hand and gave it a firm shake. "Good to see you to son. Good." He better be ready... He was marrying the best woman on Earth, his little girl. James wasn't too sure about Benjy, but he sure liked the dad, Thomas. He took Thomas hand and gave it a nice shake nothing like the firm shake his son received.

"Good morning to you too Thomas." James gave a glance at the door... "Not even close, when I left she had barely gotten her make up done, but the dress and the veil and the shoes are ready to go." He still wondered why it took women so long to get ready, it had taken his first wife, Katie five hours to get ready and his second wife, Serena seven hours...He thought they had both ran away in that time. "You remember how long it takes them..Especially for a wedding."

Caroline was ecstatic with excitement and happiness!! Her sister was getting married!!! She had just gotten married last year. Actually a day before today last year. So they had just celebrated their first anniversary! How exciting! Plus this!! How exciting. She fixed Sky's hair as her and her family worked around her...She looked down where was it?? She quietly left the room. She made her way over to her father and Benjy, "Has anyone seen a blue hair piece? Someone please say yes.

Benjy was terrified of his soon to be father-in-law. Even after years of dealing with bad guys, seeing Sky's father was never an easy feat. He knew that the man was just being protective over his daughter, but did he really have to scare the bajeepers out of his son-in-law every time he saw him? As soon as James had turned his attention back to Thomas, Benjy started fidgeting with his tie again, just out of nervous habit. Eliza would take care of making sure that his cousins were ready with the rings and the flowers, so for now he just had to try and relax.

Thomas liked James. It was always good to be able to share fatherly talks with the man and today was no different. "Oh yes... Us men are ready in fifteen minutes but it takes the ladies hours to prepare." He agreed, remembering when he had married Benjy's mother. He had heard that it had taken several hours to get ready for a hour long ceremony. Today was different though. It was a morning wedding and Benjy had specifically told Thomas that they needed to be done by noon or shortly after that because they had a work function. Pausing for only a second when somebody came out of the bride's room, Thomas turned to the sister. "I haven't seen anything here, but we can certainly help you look." He said, nodding at the nervous Benjy and at James.

Meanwhile in the back of the hall, Lupin was playing around with Lucas as they tried to hide something blue from Lily. Lupin thought that Lily was not being fun because she kept trying to take it away from him even though they were just having some fun while they waited. The five year old didn't understand that the little blue piece he had in his hands was part of Sky's getup for the wedding so he just kept playing hide-n-go-seek with it for now.

Eliza tried to get the boys to calm done. She glanced up at a girl who came into the room. She glanced down just in time to see a hint of blue in Lupin's hands. Eliza chuckled and then gently took the hair piece from the boy, "This isn't a toy, little one." She turned to the girl after smiling at the boy, "Mhzs, is this what you are missing?" She held it out to Caroline.

Caroline looked at Thomas and smiled. He was nice! Sky already said that she loved him! "Thank you so much. It's very important to Sky and I. I wore it when I got married. So its her something borrowed and something blue." Her stepmother also wore it at her wedding too. Where was it? She started to look around the room..It had to be here somewhere. Serena said she just had it. Turning around as she heard a woman's voice talking to her, she found it!! Thank goodness!! "Thank you, very much!" She took it from Eliza and gave her a hug Serena's life had just been saved. After giving a smile to Benjy she reentered the room where Sky was.

Serena was in debt to this Eliza person. The hair piece was very important to her. It had been passed down in her family from girl to girl, each daughter wore it on their wedding day and there were no exceptions when it came to her stepdaughters, though Serena never used the step when speaking of the two girls, and her other step children. After finishing with Sky-Light's hair and make-up she left the room to go speak to her husband and Benjy. She still wasn't okay with him marrying her so soon...Even though James and her got married relatively fast as well. "Almost done...Well the parts that I can do are done, oh and thanks to an Eliza for finding my heirloom." She gave James a kiss on the cheek and looked over at Benjy, "James I hope you weren't mean to him today? Was he Benjy? You can tell me the truth, he can't hurt you. I promise." If he had been mean, James would be the one getting hurt.

Eliza laughed, "No problem, anything to help my brother's wedding run smoothly." She smiled and hugged the girl back. Elizabeth gathered the boys and tried to calm them down. Eliza glanced over at Benjy and gave him a loving smile. "Benjy, do ya know how hard it is to calm two hyper boys?" She chuckled.
