"Nice to meet you all", Lynnette said in her baby soprano.

"Hey Maura!,"Lisa squealed with joy, and hugged her hard. She took her shoes off to be polite and walked in."I missed you,"Lisa said although they hadn't been gone for too long."So this is your house, huh?"she said, stating the obvious.

"Hey gurl!,"Lisa said smiling and hugged her."Hows your sister? "she asked her quietly.

"Hi Lynette,"Lisa said giving a casula wave and a grin."Can I call you Lynn?"she asked her.

"Nice to meet you too Lynnette"she said giving her a light hug.

"How are you?" she asked, grinning at her friend. She'd missed her. "Oh, Lily's great. She befriended Jenn insteantly when she came over to visit," she laughed. "Which reminds me...why haven't you stopped by?" she asked, trying to sound critical.

"Nahh, it's just a random abandoned house my family stole," said Maura jokingly with a dismissive wave of her hand. She smiled. "Yeah, I missed you too!" she said, hugging Lisa back.

"That's good, yeah Jenn has that effect on people,"lisa said laughing."Oh, I dont know.But dont worry I'll come and visit you soon,"Lisa said reassuring her friend.

"Really?"Lisa said jokingly, laughing."Yeah, I mean who wouldn't miss me?"Lisa said laughing.

Suddenly the room they were in got pretty crowded as a lot more people showed up. Laylee recognized all of the newcomers but only personally knew a few. She smiled and met everyone politely. Laylee suddenly felt very old. She was easily the oldest person in this house at the moment. She smiled awkwardly, beggining to feel like the 3rd wheel, or maybe a 7th wheel...

Maura grinned. "That is very true!" she said.

Maura looked over at Laylee, who suddenly looked uncomfortable. "Is everything all right?" she asked.

"Laylee!,"Lisa almost scremed and ran over to give her friend a big bearhug.She was the one who took maura and her to the whomping willow. "you, okay"she asked her a bit worriedly.

Lisa hugged her tight."Thanks Maura, now you're going to make me go all teary"she said pretending to bawl her eyes out because of happiness.

Jenn skipped happily to the door and knocked, trying to fix her wavy long blackish-brown hair. She hummed softly and then listened closely. She could hear a lot of chatting so that meant other's where here too! Yay!

"Well...I'm lost," Jaden grinned sheepishly to himself, and ran his hand wearily through his hair. Diagon Alley, why hadn't he just stayed in Diagon Alley? It looked as if curiousity had got him again. He looked about him for a second, before noticing a rather nice looking house on the other side of the road. A girl was standing outside the door as if waiting to be let in and there was lots of noise coming from within the building. Curiousity, a curious thing, and unfortuneately, Jaden had a lot of it. He crossed the road and walked up to the house.

He smiled at the girl who was standing there. "Hey, I'm Jaden,"

Maura grinned. "Uh oh, it looks like I have a crying witch on my hands," she said. "At least they're tears of happiness...don't get them on the floor, salt water will stain wood you know," she said, winking.

Maura got up. "I'll be right back," she said yet again. It was a busy day! She walked down the hall into the entrance corridor and opened the door. "Hi, Jenn!" she exclaimed, her face lighting up. She gave Jenn a hug. "Come on in..."

Maura turned back at an unfamiliar voice. She glanced past Jenn and stared at the newcomer. She didn't recognize him. Maybe he was lost. She stepped forward. "Can I help you?" she asked him in a friendly tone. "I'm Maura, this is my house."

Jenn, so that was the girl's name. And the girl who was talking to him, name was Maura. "Pleasure to meet you Maura," he said with a small grin. "I'm Jaden, and to tell you the truth, I'm a little lost," He smiled sheepishly, as powlffle, Kuriboh, emerged onto his shoulder, cooing excitedly. Kuriboh loved strangers, and Jaden had no idea why.

"Oh," said Maura. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Jaden...maybe you'd better come inside, too." She looked at the strange animal on his shoulder. "So, where exactly are you trying to find?" she asked as she ushered him inside.

Jaden let her usher him inside, and Kuriboh cooed happily at the sight of many more people. "Nice place you got here, Maura," Jaden said, as he looked about him, Kuriboh hopping like a maniac. "I'm not really trying to find anything, you see, I lost my memory and suddenly appeared in that Diagon Alley place. And then...well...I kind of got lost and ended up here,"

"Thanks," said Maura, smiling at the compliment. "Everyone has said that...it's pretty new. We just finished redoing the house." She watched his little owl thingy for awhile while Jaden looked around himself. "Oh...You lost your memory? How odd. Will you be going to Hogwarts?" she asked him, half hoping that he would. Maybe being around other people would help him recover his memory. "Uh...maybe you hit your head, like, really hard," she suggested. "I'm surprised you ended up here. I don't live that far from Diagon Alley--it's in London, and my mother works at the Ministry--but this road isn't that well-traveled." she frowned about it for a moment and then shrugged. "No matter. I suppose you're welcome to stay here as long as you like."

Jenn was humming still when she heard foot steps behind her. She jumped slightly then smiled at the boy named Jaden. "Hi! I'm Jenn. Well actually Jennumara, and if you want to get even more tecnical it's Jennumara Abigale Blood, but please just call me Jenn."she said, grinning. "Jaden? That's a nice name."she said, smiling then she looked away. Then it clicked. "Wait.....your names Jaden?!"she asked, looking at him. He fit the picture perfectly. The one Kairi had drawn of a boy named Jaden. "You don't happen to like chips do you?"she asked, blushing slightly at the question.

Jenn grinned. "Maura!!"she said, hugging her back. "Ok."she said, walking in. She looked back at the boy who was standing there talking to Maura. She hopped he would anwser her questions that where flying in her head like little snitches.

A sudden look of recognition on Jenn's face made Jaden wonder for a minute if this girl was another one of the people Kairi had told about him. It was odd, he didn't know who in the name of Merlin Kairi was, but she seemed to know everything about him. Jaden looked at Jenn for a second and then his face broke out into a grin. "As a matter fo fact, I do. My most favouritist food in the world," He winked, and stroked a rather hiper Kuriboh fondly.

Jenn grinned back, and breathed out realizing she was holding her breath. She giggled. "I thought so, cause last year you appeared,"she did qutation marks at that, "and started shoving them down your mouth."she said, still chuckling and she rolled her eyes.

Edward looked at Maura with pleading eyes. It hurt him, keeping secrets from his Ella.

Jaden let out an amused chuckle, "Really? Well, I have been known to like my food. Lucky for me, I never seem to put on any weight," He grinned, and pulled two chocolate frogs from his pocket. "Here," he said, placing one in Jenn's palm. "My second favouritist food," He winked, as Kuriboh scoffed down the other.

Jenn rolled her eyes and giggled with him. "Me neither! Aren't we just lucky!"she said, slightly sarcastic. Jenn blinked then smiled. "Thanks."she said. She quickly ate it, realizing she hadn't had lunch yet. "That's my second favorite food too!! My first is Pumpkin Pasties."she said, reaching into her purse and grabing three. "Here. There's one for you and one for your....um owl? And one for ME!"she said, giggling and handing him the two pastries.

"Thanks," he said with a small smile, accepting the pumpkin pastie, "I don't think I've ever had one of these before," he said, looking at it curiously. Kuriboh cooed irritably, and Jaden automatically handed the other one to him. The powlffle was satisfyed and ate it ravenously, holding it with its wings. He smiled and shook his head, "He's a powlffle, a cross between an owl and a puffle. He's an odd little fella, his name's Kuriboh," He took one last look at the pumpkin pastie before taking a bite. It was good, very good. "Damn! This is almost as good as chips! Almost as good," He grinned at her, and took another bite.

Jenn's eyes widdened in disbelief. "Really?! Wow. There my most favorite. I could eat them forever."she said, winking. She watched the little powlffle. "An owl and puffle? Wierd...yet very cute."she said, petting the little thing. She looked up at Jaden and grinned. "Told you."she said, laughing. She shook her head at him. "Only almost? I'll have to try and change that."she said, winking.

"Good luck, you'll sure'll need it," he said with a grin, as he finished off the pastie. "I remain loyal to the almighty chip," Kuriboh, who had been liking the attention Jenn was giving him, cooed again, and fluttered his wings. "Say Jenn," Jaden said, a curious look in his eye, "You don't happen to know Kairi, do you?"

Maura laughed. "Everyone else is in the family room..." she said, pointing Jaden and Jenn in the right direction. She watched them go in, talking happily, and smiled, glad that Jaden had found someone to talk to while he was so lost and confused.

Maura followed them into the room and sensed Edward's eyes on her. She returned his stare. It's your choice, Edward, she thought as hard as she could. She wondered if Edward was telepathic. If not, she hoped he could read her words in her eyes. It's your choice.
