"Yes,I'm keeping out of trouble.me?Pick on hufflepuffs?I would never pick on them,"Reese told Josh with a slight smile."An Auror?Impressive.You should be pumped.I would be exited if I was an auror."Well,she would be excited if she wanted to be an auror.Reese was going to move to the United States and work somewhere.She wasn't going to stay in London after she graduated."Okay.The reason is to have fun.How about that?Is that good?Oh.Nothing is really new.Just...just having some more family problems.Besides that,I'm good."

"Yes,it can!"Reese said with a laugh."How does the world look when you are small?"She walked Allie inside the house and closed the door."Wear them in Hogwarts?I don't think that's such a good idea.You might be a walking...disaster waiting to happen."She nodded.

Allie had to think about that question for the moment. How did the world look?
"Taller. The world looks alot taller when I'm small." she said with a smile. She walked behind Reese, into her gigantic house. I tlooked even bigger from the inside, if that was possible.
She glared at Reese when she made that comment about her clumsiness.
But after a moment she shrugged, and laughed, realizing teh truth in her words. She was always tripping over air, and how much worse would that be in heels? She winced at the thought.
"Well, yeah....that is true."

"Hm.Taller?Well,you know the world is small.Have you heard the song:It's a small worl after all?"Reese smiled at Allie.She noticed when she made the comment about her clumsiness,Allie glared at her."It's is true.I don't want you to fall and get amnesia.Amnesia is not fun,at all."

"No I haven't actually. But when your small, the world does seem taller, because well your small in a small world..." she said, thoughtfully. SHe wasn't sure if it made sense at all.
"Well you would know about getting Amnesia." Allie said, giggling, and remembering that horrible party at her house that resulted in several injuries.

he gave her a smile as he gave her a small nod." that i believe. You wouldnt pick on anyone." it was true. even if she was a slytherin she wasnt one of those mean ones. She was awesome one."Impressive. what do you mean. Josh moonson and auror go together. Its like pie and crust." he teased with her."Works for me. I prefer to have fun then being bored. Besides it is your party. they are always fun." he moved to nudge her."im sorry about that." he gave her a smile as he knew all about family promblems." I'll come over and beat him up again if you like. Show him who's boss." he offered her.

As Miles watched Reese walk into the kitchen, he felt a little sorry for her. She didn't have what he had with Vannie, well, she used to. And her other best friend, Cale, was with someone too. It was all around her, if Miles was in her shoes, he would hate that.



Turning his attention back to Vannie and smiled. "I did yeah." Vannie already knew a little bit about Paris, like he did with all people who asked how his summer was, he never went into detail about Paris. What happens in Paris, stays in Paris. "And you?"

Vannie smiled as she looked up at him. She was glad that he had, had a good time in Paris, although she did slightly wish that she could have gone with him too, but it was good that he'd had a good time never the less. "Mine was good.....I missed you though," She blushed a little, as she looked away, and around the room. There weren't many people there yet.

"No I woudn't.And if i did,I would be joking around with them,"Reese said."Well,it's impressive that you got a good job.Congrats."She giggled at the part about the pie and crust."Very true,"she said."Well,my parties should be fun for the amount of work I put into them,"she smiled.When Josh nudged her,she nudged him back."Opps,I'm sory about that,"she laughed."Oh-no.It's not Reno,again.It's-well--It's complicated."

Reese stared at Allie for what seemed like minutes.She was trying to interpret what she had just said."I think I got the first part,but I didn't understand the last part you said,"she said."Oh-Yes-I would."She smiled at Allie.

Josh hadnt noticed it because of the lighting, but he could tell now."You changed your hair. It looks good." he gave her a sympathetic smile since he was just realizing it now." Im part blind i guess." it was his excuse."Thanks. Im pretty excited about it, but you still have to be careful. Its a dangerious job still." he listened to her as she started talking about party. he chuckled a little as she always put work into them." So your not a slacker like me. Good job." he said as she moved to nudge him back."Dont beat up on me.I didnt do anything." he teased as she started talking about reno." i'll talk to you about it later before i leave. that way we can have some fun." he didnt want to cause her any stress and then not like her party. he looked around as he then spotted anna and cale. they were always together. it was about the way you couldnt find one without the other. he would have to ask anna something later." You dance?"

"Ohhhh I forgot that you don't remember getting amnesia." she said. "Thats kind of ironic actually you don't remember anything when you have amnesia, and then when you don't have amnesia you don't remember having amnesia." She was quiet for a few seconds still thinking about that, but then she was over it.
"Well, I don't think that would happen. We won't do anything as stupid as we did at my party."

"Not as much as I missed you." He kissed her again, but much quicker this time, he didn't want to make a scene. Miles gripped hold of Vannie's hand and began to walk into the house rather than standing in the foyer, everyone else had seemed to move too, yet he didn't notice until now. A part of Miles wanted to go to Reese and have that talk with her, as it was kind of eating him up inside. You know how it is about secrets?

He glanced at her again, but she seemed too busy with other guest, so he would wait a while.

"Oh-Thanks.I just decided to go brunette this summer,"Reese told Josh."Part blind?Good excuse."She smiled then said,"Nope I'm not a slacker...with parties.Now with homework,I will wait until the last day to do it.Or I might not even do it at all."She laughd at Josh."Don't i wont beat you up...yet,"she said sarcastically."Okay.Thats cool,"she said.She looked at Josh when he asked if she could dance."Um-I can dance,but not well."

"It better not happen,again.I dont want to forget my friends,but if it does,Cale is here.He can help out,again,"Reese told Allie."You got that right.No more stupid things."

Vanessa shook her head as she looked up at him. "I do believe I missed you more." She smirked, she had missed him a lot. He'd been in Paris enjoying himself, while she'd be stuck at her house! That had to be a big enough reason for her to miss him the most! She smiled as she gripped onto her hand and she followed him into the house. "Do you wanna dance later?" She asked, although she sounded a little hesitant, she could remember what had happened the last time she'd asked him to dance.

He felt a little sorry for her, not being able to come to Paris. Miles wondered what she did while he was away, something that he wasn't doing .. that's for sure, but he would talk to her about that later. It wasn't really that important, was it? He smiled down at her. "Course, I'd love that." Even if he was afraid of public embarrassment, and dancing definitely was, he would do it for her.

Miles let go of her and bent down to kiss her. "I'm just going to talk with Reese. No idea what it's about, but I'll see you later." He smiled, let go of her hand and walked over to Reese, who was talking to Allie. "Hi. Uuuh, I don't mean to interrupt you two, but .. you said you wanted to talk?" He looked at Reese, after giving Allie a smile to be polite.

Reese stopped talking to allie and looked at Miles who just walked up to them.'"Oh-Miles,um,sure we can talk now,"she told him.She looked at Allie."I'll catch up with you later,Allie."She turned to Miles and smiled."Want to follow me to my bedroom?"

Miles stuffed his hands into his pockets and smiled. "Yup." He answered, and followed her up the stairs. To be frank, who was quite nervous, he didn't know what to expect. Or maybe, something along the lines of 'I'm moving away, and can't attend Hogwarts', but Hogwarts was borading school! Of course she could still attend!

.. so it wasn't that. Hmmm.

"Uh .. Reese?" He began, as he continued to follow her. "Just to put my mind at ease, is this good or bad?"

"Okay,"Reese said.She headed up the stairs to her bedroom.She she got to the door of her room,Miles started to talk,again.She turned to look at him and said,"It's not that good of news..there's only one good part of it.The rest is bad."She opened the door to her bedroom and let Miles in.Her room was quite big with a bed that was low to the ground.She had a dresser in one corner of the room and the other corner was a big mirror."Come on in."

Miles gulped rather loudly as she told him that most of it was bad news. It was obviously important to him, as she was going to tell him, confined in her own room! He was beginning to freak out, and he could feel his face getting hotter with dread and a lot of worry. But she had also said there was some good news, so it wasn't all bad, thankgod.

He smiled slightly as he was invited in. Miles didn't give himself time to look around, once he was inside, he turned swiftly on his heel and faced the little blonde brunette. "Ok." He sighed, trying to brace himself for whatever was coming.

Reese closed the door when Miles walked in.She turned to face him,trying to hold the tears back."I'm really not ready for everyone to know about this.Only a few people know and I want you to be one them,"she told Miles."So,here I go..."She took a deep breath before she explained what has been bothering her,"You know how my brother died when I first started Hogwarts. Well, it turns out he is alive. That’s the good news. The bad news is that…I have been living in lies. It turns out the person I thought was my mother, isn’t really my mother, she’s my step-mother. My real mom moved when I was born and my dad remarried and told me she was my real mom. The way I found this out is I was looking through some old photo albums and came across and old picture and the woman in it didn’t look like my mom. I asked my godmother and she told me the story about my mom leaving and she wrote my mom for me. I got a letter back before I went to Diagon Alley and I found out the my mom came and got my brother when I went off to Hogwarts and my dad didn’t want me to know about my real mom, so he told me my brother died, my mom also wants me to move to Ireland and live with her. And I don’t think I have a choice to go or stay. And she also doesn’t want me to attend Hogwarts anymore…I’ve been wanting to tell you this since I got the letter Miles. I was trying to find you in Diagon Alley, but I couldn’t find you.” When she finished explaining,Reese looked at Miles,waiting for his reply.A single tear rolled down her cheek.She hated thinking that she might have to move away from all her friends.Especially Cale,Miles,and Allie.

"Yeey," Vanessa smiled as she looked up at him. At least he hadn't said no, she really didn't want a repeat of last time, because that had been horrible, and she really didn't want to get jealous like that again. It wasn't nice, and she knew that Miles probably had liked it.
She looked a little shocked when he let go of her. Where was he going. They'd only just got here. "Oh....Okay." She said, sounding a little worried. She knew that had happened last time. She promised herself that she wouldn't get jealous though. They were only talking right?
Now she just had to find someone else. Or she'd be a loner till Miles came back

"Oh my .." He stopped himself before he could finish.

That was a lot of information to take in, even for a 16 year old Slytherin boy. Miles' eyes darted around the room, he didn't want to look at her eyes, which were probably swimming with tears now, and he couldn't take that. Finally, after failing for a thing to look at, he walked closer, wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on the top of her head. "You have been living in lies." Miles stated, not that it helped. The worst bit of it all was she may have to leave Hogwarts, that was the one that startled him the most.

"P-Please don't leave." He whispered, a slight stutter in his voice. He wasn't going to cry, if he thought positive, everything was going to be fine ... if they were in an alternate universe. "Have y-you met your real mother yet? Or j-just .. written to her?" Reese's dad must be a real idiot to do this to her, tell her that her brother died and have a stand-in mum, AND make her live with Reno! It made Miles' dad sound like Tinkerbell. "I'm sorry that I didn't see you in Diagon Alley."

The room was silent for minutes until Miles walked over to her and put his arms around her.She wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his chest."I know,"she said through her tears.

"Miles,I really don't want to leave.But,I don't think I have a choice,"Reese said."I'd rather move back in with Reno and still go to Hogwarts than move to ireland and risk never seeing you,again."She never wanted to let go of Miles.Never ever.She always felt safe when she was with him."No,I haven't met my mom,"she told Miles."It's okay.At least you made it to my party,so I could tell you."

Miles wasn't really into crying girls, it freaked him out how they got upset over things so easily. But, Reese had a proper reason to. She could cry all she wanted and Miles wouldn't mind, just as long as she didn't stain his shirt. He didn't really want a wet patch on his chest. Euuch.

Miles whined as she explained her problem. She didn't have a choice!? Make a stand woman! "But ... you have to say." He droned, school really would drag on without her. Didn't she have a say in any of this? He laughed lightly at her. "Go back to Reno? To be honest, I think that's a little worse than moving to Ireland, course, not seeing me is a right downer." He laughed again a little vainly. Miles nodded into her hair and smiled. "How could I miss one of your parties, Reese?"

"I know I have to stay Miles.I'm going to try everything to stay here.Even Alie is going to help me brainstorm some ideas,"Reese said."I really want to stay here with you and the rest of my friends."She still keep close to him when he started to talk about Reno."Miles,I didn't mean.It was to show you how much I want to stay in London.I would never move back in with Reno...and my lying dad."She couldn't help but smile a little bit."I don't know,"she said."I know you will never miss one of my parties."

He grinned secretley, he was so grateful that she was trying her best to stay, just for him, or so he liked to think. "I'm glad." Miles whispered, feeling a little bit like he wanted to cry, but he wouldn't, not infront of Reese anyway. Finally, he moved back, his arms still around her waist. "I know, I know." He smiled at her and her watery eyes. Bless.

"So.." He began, and looked around the empty room. "Do you want to go back downstairs? Or stay and talk for a bit?"
