"Wait.. your birthday is today?" Aiden asked sarcastically. Of course he knew it was Savannah's birthday, although little did she know that she'd be having her own surprise party quite soon. She admitted that she was happy to see him anyway and he smiled as he looked out at the water. He probably was too snappy with her this past year at school, but he was going through a lot. And the whole Savannah coming to Hogwarts in the middle of the school year thing really threw him for a loop. "Well, you two go.. do whatever you need to do. Orlando and I will chill here for a bit."

Orlando rolled his eyes, "Nekoda, they aren't that bad. They are just balls that fly around, they aren't even heavy."he said,shaking his head. Girls, he was never going to be able to understand them."Pft.."He said, rolling his eyes. Orlando's hand was still tightly clutched on her shouder,"I'm going to teach you how to surf..."he said and then...she was pulling away ? Frown. Then she dragged Sav and Xio into Sav's bedroom ? Well, that was weird. Orlando looked at Aiden in slight confusion."do you know what that was about ?"

"EEPPP !!!!"Sav said, feeling Nekoda pull her arm. She then realized what was going on, Sav quickly ran over to her closet and looked for that dress, that tight fitting, short, leopard print dress. It was Betsy Johnson of course. She quickly put on the dress and ran her fingers through her hair. "I'm not even going to attempt to tame the mane..."Savannah said, laughing."How does this look ?"She asked, looking at Nekoda and her sister who was still love struck in the corner of the room. Sav was still jealous.

Aiden shook his head at Orlando's question. "No idea." But Aiden wasn't exactly fluent in girl language. Actually, he was quite horrible at it. "So.. you still crushing on Nekoda, huh?" He threw his friend a grin and then turned back to watching the water. He wondered if anything would actually happen between the two. It was evident that they had fun with the flirting.

Nekoda didn't even have time to reply to Orlando, she was already in the other room with Sav. And as Savannah searched for a dress, Nekoda grabbed tube of eyeliner and mascara. Turning at Sav's voice, Nekoda smiled. "Gorgeous!" before tossing the cosmetics too her. "Quick touch up and we can head back. Can you believe Aiden's here!?" Meep! And Nekoda was going to convince him he was meant to be with Sav if it was the last thing she did.

Orlando shrugged along with Aiden. Girls were so confusing, Nekoda was one of the most confusing girls of all."Yeah..."he said, honestly. He did like Kody a whole lot but there was no chance plus, Orlando didn't even want to know how Savannah would react to it if they did gett together. All he knew was that there would be tons of shouting. He then turned his head towards Aiden,"So...what's the whoel thing with sav ? Do you still like her or what ?"

Savannah took the mascara and eyeliner from her friend, letting out a happy sigh. Thank merlin Nekoda was smart at this type of stuff. She quickly fixed both her eyeliner and mascara and listened to Nekoda speak. She shook her head,"Not really, I just..."she trailed off, letting out another sigh. "I just, don't think he wants me back. hE made it clear he didn't want me back this year, he liked that Ella girl"Sav said with a roll of her eyes,"Where is my lipgloss at ?"

Nekoda gave a snort, shaking her head. "He was blind. And an idiot. Show him what he's missing today. I'm sure he'll come back to you!" Because Koda was going to personally hex him if he hurt her again. Ack! Lipgloss! Spinning around, Nekoda quickly searched, grabbing three tubes. A cherry red, light pink, or a neutral shade. "Choose one."

She nodded as Nekoda spoke, "But Kody..that's what I tried doing at Hogwarts and it didn't work ! All he did was tell me I couldn't flirt or kiss him."She said, grabbing the cherry red lipstick from Nekoda. "I mean, I would give anything to have him back, I know I sound desperate and all but I'm still in love with him. It just doesn't seem like he cares !"

Aiden was a little surprised at how quickly Orlando changed the subject from he and Nekoda. It was quite clear to Aiden that Orlando wanted more than just flirting. "What whole thing with Sav?" he asked, though he knew what the boy was talking about. He clasped his hands together. "Savvy and I are cool, you'll see."

Orlando rolled his eyes hearing him speak, he looked over at Aiden."Look, Aiden. I'm your friend and all but I'm also her brother. I mean, "Orlando paused for a moment to sigh."Do you still have feelings, and by feelings I mean romantic feelings for my sister ?"He asked, looking at him. "Sav's just going to be crushed if she gets rejected again..." he said, now looking back out at the ocean. He was worried for his sister, he didn't like seeing her upset.

Nekoda gave her friend a hug. "Well, maybe now that this Ella is out of the picture, he'll finally wisen up. Well that and a little birdie in his ear." she grinned, pulling back. "Maybe he does care. Remember what we've learned, guys can be dumb. They never seem to know what they exactly want." Koda's smile grew and she winked, "Just go out there and be you!"

Aiden looked to Orlando. He was a good guy, and a good brother. Savannah was pretty lucky to have him, especially when so many guys were total idiots at this age. "Just let me handle it, Orlando," he said gently. "I'm going to talk to her later tonight anyway." He smiled a little bit and looked back out at the view.

Aha, the nerves were starting to kick in a bit."I'm just scared he won't wise up, I'm scared there is another girl he likes !"she said, biting her lip. "Ah, your the best friend ever..."She said, feeling Kody hug her. "I think we should go back out now..."she said, walking towards the door.

"Can we go now ? "Xio said , with a snort at the end. Way to mushy for her right now.

Savannah let out a sigh and walked out of the room.

Orlando frowned, he wanted a good answer. He was nervous for his sister and extremely skeptic of Aiden right now. He had hurt her feelings so bad at Hogwarts Orlando wasn't fully able to trust him."don't hurt her feelings, alright ? I don't want to have to deal with a sobbing sister tonight.."he said, with a sigh."And plus rejecting her on her birthday would be the worst possible choice ever."he said, he then saw Nekoda and Savannah walk out."Look at her, she even dressed up for you..."he muttered, seeing the girls walking towards them.

Nekoda shrugged, "Chill Sav. If after today he doesn't realize you two are totally destined to be together. Well, as much as I'd hate to say it, then Aiden isn't the guy for you." she smiled sympathetically, until her ego kicked in. "I know I am." That's cause she was the best at everything. Everyone wished they could have a best friend like Nekoda. Tehe.

Rolling her eyes at Xiomara, Koda nodded, "Yeah. We can go. Lead the way!" Nekoda followed after the other two girls, plopping down in a chair right by the door.

Ugh. Jeez. Aiden was getting hit by every angle right now. All this flack from everyone, telling him he was an idiot for breaking up with Savannah and how he needed to fix it and everything. But Aiden shook his head; he knew what he was doing. He'd thought about it for a little while now. He turned his head when Orlando mentioned her being dressed up, and there was Savannah. His eyesight stuck to her, noticing the wardrobe change to her current short, form-fitting dress. Wow, she looked good. Not that she didn't always look pretty, but he supposed he was just used to seeing her in her Hogwarts robes.

"Well, it's about time you girls come back."

Savannah walked over to Aiden, her black high heels clicking with each step she took. She hit him lightly on the shoulder, "uh, excuse me, but a lot of work needed to be done for me to look semi descent."She said, sitting down on a chair. She looked up at Aiden and then at her brother."So what were you guys talking about ?"

"Oh...nothing."Orlando said, watching as Aiden looked at Savannah. He then looked over at Nekoda and smiled for a moment, he then nudged Aiden lightly."Don't you have something to say to Savannah ?"he said, winking at Aiden.

Savannah looked at Nekoda and then at her brother, what was he talking about ? Savannah leaned back agaisnt the chair and looked back at Nekoda, "Is G coming tonight ?"She asked, referring to Georgiana. Merlin, she missed her.

Aiden simply smiled as she hit him on the shoulder before taking a seat on one of the chairs. Nothing? How easy was that for anyone to see right through? Hah. Nice one, Orlando. When the boy reminded Aiden of 'having to tell Savannah something,' Aiden gave the boy an eye roll. Subtlety was not Orlando's forte. "Yes, I do," he said, looking back to the blonde. "Happy birthday, Savvy." Sure, he'd have a talk with Savannah, but not until the party was winding up. It would just be best once the festivities were over and her birthday was nearly done.

Orlando smirked at Aiden and took another sip of his butterbeer. Hey, he felt the need to say it. And then, Aiden spoke. Okay, now it was Orlando's turn to roll his eyes. Happy Birthday ?That was it ? Pft... Savannah didn't seem to notice.

"Oh.. thanks."she said, flipping a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes."I kind of like the little party we have going on..."She said, looking at everyone, even Xio who was sitting in the corner. she looked back at Aiden for a second and then looked away,"So you missed the yacht ?"she asked, looking at him. He obviously did considering all she had seen him do since e got here is smile.

"Yeah, it's relaxing," Aiden agreed, about the whole 'little party' thing they had right now. Okay, not party. More like.. get-together, or something. The party would be later. "Of course I missed the yacht. Wouldn't be summer without it." He glanced back at Savannah, then looked to Orlando. "We should go surfing soon, by the way."

Savannah rolled her eyes, "It wouldn't be summer with out MY father's yacht, huh ?"she said, looking at him. She was just playing around with him of course. Oooh..surfing ? Sav looked over at Nekoda for a second and then back at Aiden and then Orlando. "You and Orlando should teach Nekoda and I how to surf...I always wanted to try it."Tehehe. Lies. Still, it was something to do.

Orlando rolled his eyes as he heard Savannah speak, surfing ? Please. She just wanted to spend time with Aiden. Yeah, he could read his sister like a book."It's still a good idea though. I say we teach them."he said with a nod of his head.

Vanessa apparated onto the dock pulling down her sunglasses to see if anyone was there. She caught sight of Aiden and smiled to herself. She pushed back her sunglasses onto her face and put in her hand in her pocket, feeling the card of money in her pocket. Savannah's birthday party; fun. She walked onto the dock and waved to everyone. "Hey." She said with a smile.

Ella arrived at the beach house that she was invited to with only one thing on her mind... Why the HELL was she invited to Savannah Conrad's party? She absolutely hated the girl. A more important question would be why did Ella even bother to turn up? Whatever though. It would be a lot more interesting than doing nothing all day. She noticed Vanessa walk out onto the dock, so she naturally followed her. Ahem.. awkward.

With an eyebrow raised Nekoda watched the interactions with Savannah, staying a quiet observer just as Orlando was. Obviously, right now words from her weren't needed. They had stuff to figure out, and if she had to be quiet for a little while, then so be it! Besides, it was tanning time.

Stretching out, and closing her eyes, Koda jumped when she heard a voice. And she couldn't help but be aggravated. Until she realized why that voice was here! "Blimey!" she muttered to herself, standing up and turning to the the girl. Why'd she look familiar? Walking over, she glanced at Sav, and then offered her hand to the girl. "Hey! I'm Nekoda Russell. Welcome to the partay!"

And then looking up, and spotting another girl. Nekoda gave the same warming welcome. Eh. This being nice and a 'good hostess' was harder than it appeared!

So, Aiden was here. Great. Ella walked further out onto the dock until she was greeted by some girl she had never met before. "Hi.. i'm Ella. A fri - I know Savannah." Wow she had to pick her wording carefully there. A friend of Savannah's?! Hah, you have got to be joking. Ella glared at Savannah for a moment then turned her attention back to the brunette girl. She seemed to be a lot nicer than Savannah.

Nekoda smiled, offering her hand as well. "Pleasure Ella, I'm Nekoda. Savannah's best friend." And why did the name Ella raise such suspicion? Urgh! Curse Nekoda's terrible memory! Hadn't Sav told her something about an Ella? Why couldn't she remember what was said! It wasn't that long ago! "Welcome to the party." Well, until she remembered, she was determined to be nice to Sav's guest.

Not like she'd have my time anyways to socialaize.

Ugh. Savannah's best friend? Ella hated this girl already. Anyone who hung around with Savannah was bad news. "Nice to meet you Nekoda." She said politely and shook her hand as she offered it. Might as well be nice seeing as no one else was here to defend her if things got ugly. Ella looked at Savannah for a moment then back at Nekoda.

"Erm.. not to be rude.. but I was wondering why I was invited?" She cleared her throat. Her main goal was not to be mean. They might throw her in the sea or something. Eeep.
