Outside Fun Indoors! With the danger of being caught in the spooky mist surrounding the castle keeping everyone inside, it's only natural that many of the students of Hogwarts would have a little cabin fever. SPOILER!!: Chloe SPOILER!!: Stella She had an internal fight about doing this. How could they have fun at a time like this, how could they think of anything when some of their friends were missing, but then she wanted to ease the anxiety in others and think about them feeling less stressed so yes Chloe McCarthy was there and looking strong and happy. She wanted to help the rest of her school and try to help especially the younger students not be so scared. Moving into the room she couldn't help touching the floor, it was grass and it felt like grass, this was nice and she felt would help some that were having trouble being in the castle. Chloe wished she had brought her broom to go flying a bit while in there. She hadn't been on one since they couldn't go out and it was starting to get to her, she needed to practice and get ready for summer. Why had she come in here? Stella had heard about it, but really she hated being social and she hated things that meant others would be loud and giddy, honestly, she was there to see them stressed and upset, that would make her feel better. Why did it matter if the mist was coming in or not, she didn't care and she was entertained to see which ones would be dumb enough to try to fight off the mist. The more she thought about it the more Stella wondered if she shouldn't have bothered coming, but she hated being stuck inside the castle and she hoped the outside look would give her some peace, maybe she could find a little corner to be alone or maybe she could find a few purses to steal from, that could be an option too. |
SPOILER!!: Click Me! A younger Brody would not have been caught at one of these sociable things but now? He didn’t care. The deadly mist had him worried and the fact that the Snakes had moved in with the lions... well let’s just say that he as rather uncomfortable in the Gryffindor Common room. Aside from that, the Room of Requirement was not at all far from where he was stationed these days. Arriving there, the curly haired boy recognised the two girls, especially Stella. But being typical Brody Kurt Hawthorne, he ignored their presence and moved for the Treehouse. He liked treehouses. Keen eyes caught a glimpse of the food as he looked around. Brody was going to make sure he pitched in on that! What was fun without food? But in the meantime, the fourth year began his journey up to the treehouse. |
SPOILER!!: Wren and Xanthe Wren was really looking forward to this outdoor excursion, even if it was technically indoors. She might have been quite wary of the mist, but she was so sick of being inside. And she was sure she wasn't the only one. Heading into the Room of Requirement, she was pleased to see the set up was just how she imagined it and with so much outside fun things to do! She could almost feel the sun on her face as she skipped inside. "Hi, Chloe!" She gave her fellow fourth year a cheerful wave as she bounded over towards her. She recognized the boy from some classes and gave him a nice smile, though she didn't know the other girl. Oh wait, she saw her in the common room now that they were sharing, even if the younger girl looked so mopey all the time. She gave her a little smile too before turning back to Chloe. "Wanna go rock climbing?" Xan was bored and that was probably the only reason she came to this little gathering, or whatever you wanted to call it? Was it a party? She liked those sometimes, as long as there was good music and something to eat. But the common room was crowded, so the chance to be outside again - even if she wasn't so much an outdoorsy person and this wasn't the real out of doors - it was intriguing to say the least. "What's up, everyone?" she greeted the little group as she poked her head inside. Oh there was her dormmate, Chloe, and yearmates, Wren and Brody, but she really wanted was food. Was that a picnic over there? |
SPOILER!!: Hanna! Hanna longed to be outside, longed for summer, the feel of the warm sun against her skin. But being trapped indoors, with the threat of a deadly mist hanging over them had dampened any enthusiasm she had for being at Hogwarts. She was tired, stressed, and hyped up with adrenaline. She felt fatigued, yet her body was tense with expectation that at any moment she would need to be on high alert. Once she caught wind of the fourth years turning the room of requirement into an outdoorsy paradise, that was where she needed to be. In case it was the perfect situation, she brought her pillow and study books in her large, charmed bag, and headed there. Upon entering, she saw the familiar faces of people that were either in Ravenclaw, or she'd had classes with. Mostly she knew Chloe and Xan. "Hi everyone," she said in her now somewhat flat voice. She missed her family terribly. At least Lena was with her in the Ravenclaw tower. Lena who had decided to stay back in the common room to read. She could do anything in chaos, Hanna thought with envy. At the sight of food, and blankets, Hanna could have cried. She helped herself to a few bites to eat before she settled herself down onto a blanket. Not wanting to do anything right away, she merely took a few moments to observe everyone, enjoy the somewhat quiet, but very peaceful feeling of being outside - even if it wasn't really outside. |
SPOILER!!: Aaron Botros It was almost too good to be true, but having used the Room of Requirement for a similar purpose (when he and Jolie were putting together the Christmas party), Aaron allowed himself to be excited by the prospect of a day in the sun. It seemed these days, there needed to be a waiting list to use the Room. It was always occupied anytime he tried to have a little visit. So, yes. He would gladly accept the generosity of whoever put this together. Who had...? He'd heard it was a group of fourth years. Inhaling deeply, the sixth year raked thin fingers though his slightly longer hair...positioning a pair of shades on the tip of his nose. The brightness of the day had not been an empty promise. "Hello, everyone!" Even artificially, It felt real enough; the same heat and breeze that he'd experienced many times just outside this castle. Finally. Aaron felt like he could breath again. For now, it was enough to find a nice tree to sit beneath and simply relax. If only it hadn't gotten dangerous to have his duckies with him around the castle, he'd have brought them out for some "fresh air". |
As her mind kept moving around the grass area and looking at all the things, she couldn't help but wonder if the faries were around to poop on her head again. She really didn't want their poop, but if they wanted to make the pretty fairy crown again she would gladly take that. Hearing a voice she looked up and realized more people had come in and soon she was seeing familiar faces, one that was asking her a question. Rock Climbing, did she miss, oh yes she did. "Sure, that sounds great." As she headed towards her friend she saw another walk into the room, 'Hey Aaron, doing alright?" She worried about everyone. |
SPOILER!!: Cordelia Winklebleck SPOILER!!: Sapphire Zunther Cordelia was so done with being trapped inside the castle. All the best activities in life were outdoors.”Hello! Gryffindor seeker in the house!” Everyone knew who she was, yes? If not, they should pay more attention to who was on the quidditch teams. The only people whose names she definitely knew were Stella and Chloe. Stella Blaze-Turner was her fellow Stemp House resident and current roommate. Chloe McCarthy was her competition on the quidditch pitch, and it was important to know your competition. ”Stella.” Cordelia nodded to Stella in greeting. ”Is there quidditch here?” If so, she was totally going to challenge Chloe McCarthy to a battle of the seekers. Unfortunately her own broom was in the broomshed and therefore currently inaccessible due to the mist. She didn’t have any of her other quidditch supplies with her either. The only thing that Cordelia had brought with her was her unicorn diabetes supply purse which contained her blood sugar testing kit, the receiver for her continuous glucose monitor, and some backup insulin. Maybe the room of requirement could provide them with some brooms and other quidditch equipment? For now she was going to enjoy this picnic that had so generously been provided. Cordelia took a seat at one of the picnic tables and set her purse down on the table in front of her. Unzipping it, she removed her little bottle of test strips, meter, and lancing device. She took a strip out and stuck it in the meter, pricked her finger, and squeezed a drop of blood onto the meter. When she was done she threw everything back in the bag. Now she could pick out some food. Sapphire wasn’t usually one for the outdoors, but even she had her limits of how long she could stand being trapped inside the castle. The Gryffindors, with the exception of her cousin Tempest, shortened the amount of time she could still tolerate being stuck in this castle every time they were loud or did stupid things. Which was all day. Every day. The young Gryffindors were especially annoying. Ugh, she just wanted to get away from the crowds of noisy obnoxious people. ”Greetings,” was all Sapphire said to the other people there when she came in. What she wanted was a nice quiet spot where she could enjoy having personal space. Sapphire set off down the path in search of somewhere suitable, maybe a shady spot under a tree. |
All of the gloomy thoughts easily disappeared as Wren let herself enjoy the outdoor setting of the Room of Requirement. This was exactly what she needed, what everyone needed, including her siblings whom she hoped would be along any minute. But for now, she was going to enjoy herself and she looked to see who had come in behind her. "Hello!" she gave friendly smiles to the several girls who came in after her and to the Hufflepuff prefect. "Chloe and I are going rock climbing.... Anyone else want to join us?" Sorry, Gryffindor seeker - and she totally knew who she was being in the same house, even if she wasn't big on the game. She snagged Chloe first. Yes, food. Actual food that she didn't have to wait for appointed meal times in the common room. Xanthe thought that maybe that was what she missed most - snacking when she wanted. Even though she was normally far from the kitchens in Ravenclaw tower, just being able to go to the kitchens to get a snack when she wanted was a commodity she sorely missed. The Ravenclaw noticed Chloe and that Wren girl going off towards the rock wall as well as a few others come in, but she didn't pay them much notice. She was much more interested in eating. And eating outside. But she did notice when her prefect came over with apparently the same idea in mind. "Sup, Hanna.." Xan greeted her as she took a seat with her on the blanket. "What looks good?" She asked the question aloud though it was more to herself than to anyone else as she looked over the selection before helping herself to a plate. Oh, and....? What was that little Gryffindor girl (Cordelia) doing? |
