Melanie blushed, "No it was just I realized about 10 feet in my quest to find ice cream, that I didn't realize I had no idea where I was going. So I thought maybe I should keep you around as a tour guide." she smiled "I'm just kidding, well actually most of its true, but no your not too horrible to keep me away, and besides your the one with the money." she smiled jokingly.

She then turned to Clemance
"Ya the key is to wear lip gloss not the coloured lipstick. " she laughed

"Oh speaking from experience are we, Mel" Oliver teased

"Me, never" she smiled, "Its just in the making out rule book, you know." she said jokingly

Oliver then stood up, "So are we going or not, look, we've been putting this off, Melanie is not sitting on the ground, Clemance left us for Tom, and Summer is reading. Oliver laughed at Rupert;s comment and and yelled "Yes Sir" as he stood like a soldier and saluted.

Melanie laughed, and called "Soldier down" The proceeded to stand up.

Summer looks up at the sound of her name. "Well I'm only reading because everyone stoped and began to talk. I was under the impression that we were going for Icecream." She looked at Oliver.

"hey well I must listen to my orders and Sergent Rupert here has commanded me to go for ice cream, Its going to be a tough, and I may not come back alive, but I may come back and be incredibly full. " he then paused in his dramatic speech. "Wait a minute I'm paying for you arn't I, OH why must they always take the Innocent? So shall we go?"

Rupert extended his arm in the direction of the parlor and shouted "Hut-two-three-four!" in order to spur the troops to march toward the ice cream. "Come along Summer," he whispered to her, "the enemy is fast approaching!"

Oliver got Summer to stand up and he sttod behind her as if in a troop line-up and he started marching and laughing. He then saw Melanie who had started at the back but now he saw wasn't in line and was just walking along side doing what she pleased.

"Melanie, not even in formation, I forgot your new, you don't know what sergent Rupert is like when his troops don't do what he wants." he started to laugh uncontrollebly, this was too funni. No wonder he and James were always getting funny looks when they were in school.

Melanie laughed as well "Oh and what is big bad, Sergent Rupert going to do to me if I don't feel like being in formation?" she asked confidentally as if she could take him, not realizing standing right behind her was Rupert.

Tom and Clemence marched."This is fun but where's the enemy??", asked Clemence.

Rupert started laughing. "Hmm.. seems like we have a rebel in our mists!" he exclaimed. "Why don't we just send you off with the French, Missy!" he threatened, but it didn't really work since he was laughing so hard.

OLiver stood up straight and tried not to laugh as he saw Rupert behind Melanie,

Summer was pulled up and forced to get in line and thought. "Why am I doing this. I'm too old to be playing soldier." She looked at Rupert and then to Melanie, and then she turned to Oliver and James. "Hey you guys wana mutanie(sp) and run to the icecream shop?"

Rupert burst out laughing listening to Melanie and Oliver bicker. "Ok - hahaha - ok - hehehe - lets - ahaha - go - hahahaha" he said choking out the words amist his laughter.

Oliver listened to Summer, "hmmm I like this a mutinany. It is brillienbt, by the way Tom and Clamence if you two wern't so busy, well we wern't specify, you would have learned long ago, our enemy has been staking out at this ive cream shop and that is why we are going." he then smiled, "Let us go and MUTANIZE" she then started off at a run to the ice cream shop. "mauahahahahahaha!"

Melanie started to laugh, "That guy is too much!" she was going to join the running but her leg still hurt a little from her fall out with James and Oliver.
"You guys go ahead I'll meet you there."

Rupert started to run but heard Melanie fall back. He stopped and walked back towards her. "Are you ok? I would never have thought you'd give up ice cream!"

Tom laughed some more. He walked off to join James and Oliver but Clemence stayed behind. "Melanie are you ok?", asked Clemence.

"Ya I'm good, and Rupert, I'm not passing up ice cream, if I ever do, please pout me out of my misery, nope just going to take a little bit longer to get there. Both of you go ahead, just save me some ice cream." she laughed

AS Oliver ran he tunred back to Summer, "Hmm this is perfect, melanie still has that cut on her leg, so she can't run maybe Rupert will stay behind." he glanced back on their direction "And oh score, he did. Mauahahahaha"
